[The "lost films" #1] Tom Hulce press photo for The Hidden Room S2E9 "Dreams About Water" (TV show on Lifetime Cable, first aired on Aug 07, 1993)

According to Wikipedia the episode is about "a gay psychologist's health deteriorates due to his HIV positive status. He gets comfort from his boyfriend and his coworker Lydia." Not even sure who Tom plays, my money is on the psychologist but could be the boyfriend. After a long search, I am quite certain no video is available anywhere online, with no VHS release either. My only hope of ever watching this is if a kind stranger decides to upload or offer to sell a recorded private copy on the internet.

MY DEAR FRIEND @historianmaybe5 look at what came in the mail!!! Paid good money on Ebay for this press photo and it was worth every cent!!! It seems like this is literally the only photo that exists of him related to this TV show, it's incredible how there is no other material trace of this ep anywhere online...! Blessed are those who had the chance to see this when it aired... I would even be happy just to read a review of someone who's seen it, just to know what it's like?? I will keep this picture safe along with other Tom Treasures while hoping to be able to watch it on one magical day.

I posted this on my Rowan IG account but figured I should share it here too! It's such a lovely interview with a wonderful and rare glimpse into his personal life and personality, in the early days of his fame before he guarded those things quite as carefully. Reading about all the things he has in his kitchen is a particular treat. <3

And I love the photographs.

I thought Leia was really underutilized in series 1. Considering the whole child bride thing, I was pleasantly surprised to see Edmund reading her stories and tucking her in. Dude can be decent when he feels like it I suppose. Baldrick is a good sport and also very fun to draw. Text under the cut for anyone who can't read my messy handwriting.
