The hero paused for a beat or two at the other’s words, then let out a noncommittal grunt. This was just… normal aftercare as far as he was concerned. It wasn’t special or anything. So what if Shinso thought it was something deep from him. “You need me t’ help out?” he asked as he lingered nearby once everything was to a satisfactory level. He may have been a bit more meticulous than usual, as if subtly attempting to indicate to the omega that he was a good caretaker and would make a suitable mate. It was just unconscious, just instincts. Right? Right. “Or you got it from here?”

“No, but thank you... It means a lot for you to take care of me like this... I have it from here.” His purple eyes linger on Bakugou, taking in his appearance and pairing it with everything that had been done for him.

Hitoshi doesn’t have enough experience to know that Katsuki is acting on instincts. He’s just happy to have someone’s positive attention on him. It feels good, makes him feel seen and appreciated.

He turned around in his seat and raised an eyebrow at Shinsou. “What the fuck happened to yours?” 

“It died a tragic death. His family is mourning his loss and his tremendous work ethic... Now, can I have a pencil or not?” He can’t help the smile that tugs to his lips with the question.

Purple eyes briefly narrowing, like he’s daring for the blonde to answer him.

He’s surprised as Katsuki stays near him, even helping him into the bath to soothe the sore muscles. Watching the blond go around the bathroom, gathering washcloth, shampoos and soaps as the tub was filling up for him. Watching it fill with warm water then looking over to him when he’s spoken to.

“Thanks... You’re surprising me...” He’s quiet as he says it, like he’s not sure of his on thoughts on the matter. “You’re more than I thought you were even underneath all the anger and everything. It’s... nice to see this side of you.”

“Shit, I’ve never slept so much in my life.” He’s never been so exhausted in his life either.

“I...You said I could use some of your clothes... Could I... take a shower?” He can feel the crust of slick over his thighs. The drying sweat from their activities.

He does managed to fall asleep once the blanket is pulled over him.

Once he wakes back up, he hurts and feels sore all over. His body feels stiff, there’s a smell.. He recognizes his own natural omega scent mixed with Bakugou’s. It has him sitting up in bed with a gasp.

Looking around the room, having found himself waking up suddenly in the same room twice in one day.

“It’d be easier for me to sleep or get comfortable on my side.” Hitoshi decides to be honest about it. He’s slowly coming down from his pleasure high, his muscles feeling sore from being used in unusual ways.

Hitoshi tries to remain still, knowing that any sudden movements can cause them both a lot of pain if he’s not careful. Looking up into his red eyes, pupils blown and barely any lavender coloring visible to him.

Feeling a pleasant buzz throughout his body, a soft hum as he finally closes his eyes, relaxing back into the pillows and the mattress.

Shoto just frowns more at that, what kind of question is that? “I bring it up because I care and telling me to not care will not change how I feel?” 

“Thank you, but why are you so bothered by other people caring about you?” hitting the nail right on the head, Shoto mostly ignores the comment about his face being pretty. Shinsou said that before too and he doesn’t understand why he would think that but that’s secondary to him right now. 

Right now he’s way more focused on this feeling in the pit of his stomach telling him that something must be wrong with Shinsou and up and foremost Shoto cares and thus worries about it. Everything else has to wait. 

“You care? Don’t try to bullshit me. No one cares.” Hitoshi’s words are almost spit out at Todoroki. The idea of someone caring about him, other than Aizawa is a foreign concept for him.

“Not all of us were as lucky as you were. To be born with a powerful and flashy quirk. Imagine being born with a quirk like mine, where people just assume you’re evil based on that fact alone. They don’t care about anything else, they don’t care about the details... They care that you don’t fit into society and that’s all that matters to them.” His purple eyes narrow on Shoto, a little put off that his flowery compliments were not able to distract him. Granted, Todoroki was prettier than most and he was probably used to it.
