No.6 Reunion #4 has been announced, with a release date of Sept 30th.

Here is my translation of the blurb from the online listing:

"Danger threatens Shion's peaceful morning. Though Shion and Nezumi had been discussing No.6's current state as it continues to rebuild, Shion notices a certain darkness within himself."

My apologies for the long hiatus from Tumblr. I am working on preparing my summaries of Reunion 3, and will post them here when I have finished making edits. I am still effectively on hiatus due to how busy this year has been.

Guys forget about my last post because how can I ignore Shion's "violet-tented eyes" after hearing Nezumi describe them so endearingly 😔💖💖💖✨️✨️✨️✨️

My new theory is that they're purplish-brown (with violet-tent hehe)

Seriously, for whatever reason in my mind Shion's eyes are always black/dark brown, and then I remind myself they're actually red(or violet idek😹)

nezumi and compassion

Nezumi tries so so desperately to push down the compassion inside him that revolts him and scares him so but he just cant It seeps through the cracks in his porcelain face and skin

We Can Dye It. I dont think theres anything wrong with your hair, I quite like it actually, but youre clearly distressed. We cant do anything about your scaf, but we can get hair dye, even if i dont see the point, if itll make you feel better.

Throughout that entire evening he's nothing but gentle. Soft. Kind. He has his guard up but he also can show the compassion hes so scared of without fear. His actions are constantly described as gentle and soft in that chapter. Go fucking reread it. Right now.

And he makes soup. Hes not in the business of comforting people but hell do it for Shion anyways.

And then they joke about shions dead beat dad and he lunges into nezumis arms and nezumi rubs his back in slow circles. He doesnt understand it when shion hugs him in reunion but here they're playing pretend, so its okay to let yourself enjoy comfort, and the presence of others, right?

And he tells shion, a kid he barely knows, that he's gotten better at picking up his cues.

He never stops complimenting shion in this ways. Youve gotten better at running away. You've gotten better at lying. Your actings gone from atrocious to passable.

He doesnt need to learn compassion throughout the story, he needs to learn that its okay to express the care he tries so hard not to feel.

No.6 Reunion #3 interior art preview

The online listing for No.6 Reunion #3 was updated a few hours ago with a new promotional graphic. The graphic has some illustrations that are certainly cut from the volume's interior art. I have put the graphic under the cut. Any theories about them? Reblog or reply—I want to hear your thoughts!

Was listening to "Worth Fighting For" by Katy Mcallister, and I imagined the lyrics to be a duet between Nezumi & Shion cuz it suits them so well 🤧💖 Red is Shion's POV and Blue is Nezumi's, colored one is both 🥺💕

The Amazon listing for volume 3 of No.6 Reunion now has an image with the obi for the book. The obi has a new quote, almost certainly from Reunion #3. Nezumi is saying the quote, which is:

"Perhaps you're the one who can give me an answer."

The "you" he is referring to is Shion. It's not clear if this is Nezumi's inner thoughts or something he is saying aloud to Shion. My gut tells me it's the former, but we will find out next month!
