i've had this app for a long while but no official introduction, so here's everything and what you can expect from my page :) my side blog where I post rambles is @riinuafterdark

basic info

hello! my name is hiyourin, but you can simply call me rinrin or inu 🐾 i go by any pronouns, but my preference is they/them and any gender neutral terms. I do have an twitter account however it's been inactive for quite a long time, it's the same as my blog name.

ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵) i love visual novels, mainly psychological and horror vns! I have a lot of interests, most of which I will draw art for. my current hyperfixation is the BTD series (this also includes other games by Bato such as YKMET and TPOF.) i will draw characters from those games quite often for the time being, but this account is mainly multifandom. I mainly draw my original characters alongside canon characters.

warnings

i am incredibly unapologetic about my interests. you don't have to know the reason why i consume the media I do, thats between me and me only. I'll never justify why I consume dark media until I am comfortable doing so. I do not condone anything in the media that I consume in real life, I am simply here to draw the characters I like and the tropes i enjoy in FICTION only.

currently I'm posting a lot about BTD/TPOF and a lot of other Gato's games. I feel like it was important to put it somewhere and with me posting about DOL in the past I will address this one time only. Both games have dark subjects involved, especially BTD and TPOF. I may enjoy these in fiction, but that does not mean in ANY way I condone any of these actions in real life.

I intend to draw a lot of tpof during my time off and stuff, so here’s mc references sheets!!

I usually don’t base my mc inserts off of me appearance wise (especially if the content is like the stuff in tpof), but blaze is a tiny bit based off of my hair when it was green.

Bandit - She/he, Bisexual. 34. Half human ferret mix. I was thinking of making him something like a fox (haha..), but decided against it for.. reasons. Ferrets are cool man, and I did decide to give each mc a bit of like.. me? If that makes sense, make them sorta like me. Bits and pieces. I haven’t played much of Mason simply because characters like him don’t interest me much. He reminds me of Eden in a way if they were like homicidal towards PC. Anywhoosies, I played a couple of Mason’s endings. Not spoiling but a certain fire one was my favorite from what I’ve played, it was quite fun.

Yoona - She/her (contemplating she/they), lesbian. Quite young, a considerable age gap between her and Celia. About 24. Out of the mcs, Yoona is the youngest out of the bunch. I absolutely LOVED Celia and god.. waiter waiter more evil women please!!! Haha, but I wanted to add a note that Yoona’s suit is much too big for her. Shes frail and the weakest out of the mcs both mentally and physically. Gives into Celia way easily but she does have a little bite to her. Once again.. trying my hardest not to spoil but in a perfect world they live together in some secluded spot.. wink wink if you know what I mean! She comes from a filthy rich background and gets by living comfortably. Lifestyle will never change even if she’s abducted in a run down office building.

Blaze - She/any, Pansexual. Second youngest, Bandit is probably the oldest. I’m thinking Blaze is about 26-ish. I wanted to make her younger than Derek but in the end I decided to make them about the same age with only a couple months difference and just make the two of them childish as fuck towards eachother. Derek’s routes, while being quite dark, are some of my favorites in the entire game. I geninuely love this bastard so much lord. Blaze tests his limits and would stab him a million times yet still spare him (hint to the ending I loved the best.) A song they reminded me of heavily was Using You by Mars Argo. Their dynamic is basically that, in a nutshell. Derek is crazy and I love it.
