Then again, it is a popular tourist destination…  Maxie usually wasn’t one to engage in conversation with strangers, but an elite four member? He was curious.  And  as someone who wanted to keep up a good outward reputation, getting to  know some of the more famous people in the region would help.

she had taken a detour from her usual vacation spot, the frozen mountains of her homeland. besides, it had been ages since she had visited lavaridge. the stranger before her seemed as if he had simply sprung out the heat itself, cloaked in fire red. the elite four member couldn’t help but wonder if he was from lavaridge, or from some other land that bore the same heat. 

glacia offers the man a small curtsy in greeting, though she sees no need to introduce herself. he already seems to know of her and her position, unsurprisingly so if the man was indeed a hoenn native as she suspected.
