Hi! I haven't been vigilant in checking tumblr recently so sorry for the late reply I think, thank you for thinking of me 😸 Yess ofc, I'm still keeping up! I know some people might dislike slower releases for their favourite series but I actually like the seasonal publications that nightow has going for kekkai. There's so much time to catch up when things get busy.

Personally I'm doing okay, major life things etc and I had to relocate across the country. For the past decade I enjoyed being a 2d animator but it seems our industry now is trying it's hardest to kill itself. I'm currently trying to relaunch my online store now thanks to that, I'll probably share it here once It's done since I have some kekkai prints 😄

I'm so thankful for everyone who randomly thinks back to this blog! It's the closest thing to a diary I have and it's a fandom blog LOL.

Kekkai still intrudes my daily thoughts and I haunt my friends with it every waking moment, I hope its still living strongly on in your heads too 😆

A 2025 entry- recently I've started working 16hour days and its tiring as hell but weirdly I feel more at peace. It's a bit sad if I think about it too hard, my concept of happiness etc etc.

blog entry for the new years

My friend and I like to guess if we can see how mentally ill an artist is from how they draw or from the lyrics of their song. I always wondered if people could see anything through my work 😹

My mental health has never been very good, but I always had enough distractions to keep thoughts at bay (until they weren't)

Kekkai was the last series I was invested in so naturally I found comfort from it in hard times. It didn't save my life entirely but it was definitely on the back-burner watching me attempt, recovery and beyond.

Now whenever i look at this blog's archive its like looking at a time capsule 🥹 its hard to believe its been years. i've met so many cool people over the course of loving this manga, and ofc had to say goodbye to many as well.

When I scroll down this blog it'll say something like last post "from 5 months ago" "1 year ago" "3 years ago" and I'll be like wow has it been that long already? Time flies now. It makes me feel morbid & a bit sad, but looking back reminds me of every moment up until now. And I become very grateful for the journey. Like wow I can't believe i'm still alive, kind of way lol.

I've always felt morbid on new years. But with every year since then, i've learned to be more grateful. The idea that hellsalems lot was born on new years is beautiful to me, and now I understand why.

I'm still getting better, high chance I will be for the rest of my life. Of course one day I may contribute my last fanart , I dont intend for it to be anytime soon. But I'll never forget this series, the one thats Seen It All HAHA. I'm not sure I will ever learn to forget about kekkai on new years.

I'm very thankful for everyone who's found any level of joy in looking at my fanart throughout the years, you all unknowingly helped more than you'll ever know. And OF COURSE THANKS NIGHTOW SENSEI !

Oh my god, idk if this will ever be seen, I'm sorry for being embarrassing, but I've only recently just decided to delve into fanart for kekkai sensen, and Daniel more specifically and hehe steven, and only just found you, this sideblog, your art, thank you for the food I'm gobbling them up while sobbing for how I only recently discovered you because of him. I love it, I love him, I love them, I'm actually feeling emotional. It's late but happy new year!

omg i just remembered abt you bc of the ask that anon sent, it went to my notifs and i got alerted. i recently got back to tumblr too and seeing your art again gives me massive nostalgia flashbacks!! i was so young when i was into kkss so i had diff tastes so now that im older and seeing your art again I am SO SO INTO the skrunkly old men pairings now. Im looking at all of them now with newfound appreciation, and GOD i love your art a lot more. I loved it before too!!but now i am absolutely enamored by it. it's a reoccurring thing i'm noticing , when people grow older and graduate from their teenage love pairings to struggling old man pairings 😹 I recall a chinese kekkai fan being hesitant to draw steven daniel bc she thought shes too young and doesnt understand depressing adult life. i thought it was funny like a joke back then, but its been a few years now & i still think about it like theres something deep to it lol.
