⋙ [ ♮ ] He wanted to say something, that this was a prime example of why she could do better than him. He hurt her ( she said so! ) even when he thought he was just asking a question – one that, he thought, wouldn’t hurt any one but himself. But he fucked that up too, and now he made Aurelia – his moon and stars, the light of his life – just as upset.
[ ♮ ] But he couldn’t speak. The moment she curled up to him, held him, he lost his words. His arms wrapped around her before she had even finished speaking, clutching onto her too tight, as if she’d slip away any time now.

{ ✎ } Seth’s sobs shook her small frame with him, and she instantly started trying to calm him down. “Shhh.... Shhh.... Don’t cry, Setty... I’m not mad, just...”
{ ✎ } What was she again? A cocktail of emotions she couldn’t pin down and describe. Right. Perfect.
{ ✎ } “... Just kind of sad? I... Did I do something to make you think I don’t... Care or... Love you, or..?” Reaching a hand up, she twirled her fingers around his fiery, soft hair.
{ ✎ } “Talk to me, when you can, please...”
