So this is the start of my new fishing blog. I am new to coarse fishing and have managed to fish 4 times so far in the last couple of months. To date i have caught 5 common carp, 5 perch and about 7 roach. The biggest of the carp was probably 8lb, but i had no scales to weigh him!
I am currently using an 8ft telescopic rod with a rear drag reel and 15lb mono line. I have used this for inline method feeding and some basic float fishing. I also have a 2m whip which i used to catch the perch and roach.
Everthing is new to me at the moment, from equipment, to baits, to techniques - even finding places to fish. I started to blog about this in the hope that the information I start to gether, and the lesson i learn might be of use to someone someday!
