hi, i've been scrolling through this blog for the past fifteen minutes and the NOSTALGIA oh my lord, seeing all these barbies from the early 2000s is bringing me straight back to being a wee girl again XD to add to the nostalgia - barbie gymnastics and ice-dancing cd-rom games were my LIFE as a child. i was wondering i remember a magazine which had barbies dressing up in different world cultures - i can only remember they did vienna and i think germany. ever heard of it??

nostalgic anon again – i just remembered that of the two issues of the barbie world magazine, one was set in vienna and had the venetian masks with segments about balls and carnivals, and another was about russia and had segments about the architecture and a real sweet outfit with a muff and the furry hat thing. they were just magazines, but the photos were definitely of barbie dolls and not just drawings!! thank you for giving me such a wonderful evening with your blog!!!
