[There shouldn’t have been silence, but at this moment everything seemed too important to say as they walked to her place. He needed to organize his thoughts before any of that could happen, as right now his mind was a mess. How easy things had been when they had first met, and that was bad enough considering the fact it was down to a car crash. Not for the first time he wondered what would have happened if Halloween never had happened. Would they never have met? Would Christmas not have happened? The last few months? Or was it fate or destiny and those things were always going to happen? He wasn’t a believer in either, but he couldn’t believe that there was a chance they were never going to have met. Not when he thought about the impact on his life that she’d had. As they walked in he was reminded of the time they’d come here when she still had amnesia. It had been one of the most painful things he’d gone through, not that he would ever have told her that. It hadn’t been anyone fault, just a horrible situation that had seemed endless at the time. He was hardly going to comment though, his own apartment wasn’t in great shape, he spent so little time there. Or was that just an excuse now? So much had changed since Christmas and in some cases he didn’t quite want to believe that time had carried on, it was just too difficult. Of course good things had happened as well, no one could argue with that. He nodded as she spoke, following her, but also hoping she’d explain just what had happened in the last month.
[Hollie sighed as Andrew didn't say anything. She couldn't help but wonder what was going on in his head right now. She knew that things hadn't been easy for him, that much was obvious, and part of her realized that she should have asked about the girls by now, or told him to go and be with them because she was fine. But she also couldn't do that. She couldn't bring herself to ask him anything because she was scared of his answer, but also because she wanted things to be able her for a little bit, which made her feel entirely selfish, but it was what she needed. She had grown tired of trying to look after other people, of putting everyone else before herself, and when she needed attention, people overlooking her because she still had a smile on her face. She needed a moment to break down, for him to comfort her. She needed a minute for just the two of them, so they could be together after so long.] Say something. [Hollie whispered. She needed to hear his voice, for him to tell her whatever it was that he was thinking. She sat down on the bed once she had got to her room, but didn't take her eyes off of him, hoping that he would tell her something, or make her feel better by a simple word. Honestly, Hollie just wanted to see his smile, but she wasn't sure how possible that was right now. ]
