Sky’s eyes couldn’t focus on one thing, she kept moving them from his eyes, to his nose, to his new cut hair and lips. Everything about him was the same but yet he looked so different. “Y-Yeah he will…” She finally stated, gulping down anything else. Skyler pulled her hair away from her face and up into a ponytail at the top of her head as his eyes moved back to the other woman he was with. In a sense she understood why he had her, it made sense but it still made her feel angry. When he started to actually speak up, Sky felt like the biggest idiot in the world. A PhD wasn’t enough to answer his questions. He was telling the truth there were so many different places she could have gone too but for some reason she was there. Truth be told not many were adding on neurosurgeons to their work system but still she had been invited there and she hadn’t really thought of the rest. “I-I know.” She finally mumbled, almost cringing at his soft tone. “I know I did and.. I-I know that saying sorry is useless to you but just. Fuck I made a mistake okay. I made a lot of mistakes when I left and my biggest one was not telling you anything…” She knew getting through to him would involve more than words but at this moment she hadn’t thought of any other ways. As her eyes trailed up the veins in his arms and neck, Skyler prepared herself for the worst which was exatcly what she recieved. Breaking his heart was at the top of her list of fatal mistakes but hearing about breaking his father’s heart, her own fatherly idol destroyed any emotions left inside of Sky. She shook her head and kept her eyes on him. He was close and every word echoed in her head over and over again. “I know!” She finally snapped. She kept her eyes focused on his, sky blue eyes swirling with emotions she couldn’t even name. “I know I’m a horrible person. I know that and I made a huge mistake and I regret it every morning and every night. For the past eight years I have been thinking about ways of how I could at least try to get to talk to you again without starting a fight and I am so sorry it had to be a surprise like this. I am… Fuck! I know I left without telling you and I fucking understand that I made the same mistake that-” She couldn’t face him and continue that sentence. It wasn’t in her to call out her parallel mistakes to his mother’s. “I’m sorry Harry… I am so so sorry and I know I sound shitty and that you don’t appreciate it but I am sorry.” She breathed out, forcing the tears back and any other type of impulses she would have with these many emotions.
He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, knuckles turning white. All the flashbacks from their youth rushed back to the forefront of his mind. What she was saying hardly reached his ears. The only thing that Harry could see was a flurry of various shades of red with his former lover standing right in the middle. "Sorry?" his voice was barely audible, his head slightly cocked to the side in a curious fashion. "Honey, lets go," a quiet voice mumbled in his ear, bringing him back to the unfortunate reality. Pushing his current beau away, he shook his head. "I can't let this go," he mumbled.Â
"If you're planning on staying here...you will not contact my father, okay?" It was hard not to make a scene, though Harry could feel bystanders gawking at the sight. "All I needed was a reason...a reason why you left- I wouldn't have made you stay. I couldn't have." He sighed and looked around. "You know, when I was younger I-I wanted to be just like my Pop," a grin of disbelief appeared on his face, "I wanted to have a job, a place to live and still...still be happy, no matter what. I got older, right, and Pop said that I'd do better than him. That I...I'd have a wife, and my kids would have a mother, but apparently..." Â he threw his hands up in disgust. "Apparently I'm just fucking like Pop. Down to a tee.The only difference is...I worked to get over you, Skyler. I worked and worked and worked to forget about you. To make you a memory, but you couldn't handle that and had to fucking show up.""

The job offer in Seattle had come as a surprise. When she first recieved the fruit basket with the letter asking if she wanted to give her services, Sky had been in shock. She was a newly grad but still her ability had seemed to have gotten her far enough. Now the whole coming back part was going to be hard and especially with living in a place where it would take just a matter of minutes to meet again all the people that had not been part of her life for the past years. The plane ride back was hard but the cab around the city had definitely been tough. Every shop she had once run by in order to stop her car from being towed, the park where she once laid with the person she cared for the most, everything was painful to see.Â
The last years Skyler had coped with being rather lonely. She made a few friends while studying but they were people she would pass time with, her parents were as proud as ever but kept reminding her that studying was priority, which was the truth and since she didn’t have Harrison, it wasn’t going to be bad. So she thought anyway. There were nights where she would crash needing one of his warm hugs and there were others where she would just scream at the wall wanting to be back in his arms and being able to kiss him. The years where she wasn’t in his presence she could only think about how much he would hate her if she ever came back. But now here she was ready to face the rage.
Gulping back the cringe that almost presented itself on her face, Sky held onto the plant closer to her chest, for a moment remembering the prom night she showed up with a bouquet of them in front of his porch. She saw the emotions running high in his eyes and she was holding back any of her own. The girl besides with was beautiful she had to admit, prettier than Sky and she had done what she couldn’t at the time, stay. He hadn’t changed, still had the same face, same eyes and gesture where he wold look at his toes when he was flustured, he was the same Harrison. She watched the girl walk away for a moment and kept her eyes on Harry for a single moment before looking at the floor as he spoke up. “I… I got a call to work at the medical center. I-I just came from Maryland. I came to work and… and just.. come home I think.”
"Come home..." he muttered to himself, trying to figure out if he was more angry or upset at her presence. As much as he wanted to yell, curse, scream and cry to her, he stood still. "Giov will be pretty happy to see you." He brushed a hand through his freshly cut hair, part of him trying to appear more professional since being promoted to manager. Looking back at his current girlfriend, he flashed an uncomfortable smile at her before looking at Skyler once more.Â
Sighing deeply, he tried to put all the pieces together in his mind. "There has to be a minimum of a thousand hospitals between Maryland and Washington state. Hundreds in individual states, between cities..." he spoke quietly, trying not to frighten any bystanders by acting out, "...and you come all the way back to Seattle. You knew I'd be here- after you got up and left, no note, no phone calls, not even an e-mail...I would've settled for a carrier pigeon!"
His hands tugged at the bottom of his shirt, palms sweaty. The veins were popping out of his arms and neck. "You broke my heart, Skyler. And I'm more than okay with that- I can recover from that. But you broke my dad's heart- do you know what it's like to see your father cry night after night when you're eight years old? And then have it repeated when you're twenty four, twenty five, twenty six? For the same reason?" He was yelling now, directly in her face. "You can't do that to people, Skyler! You can't make them love you and just leave!"Â
Skyler and Harrison Interview: Living with each other and feelings on each other.
Grand Mistake |Skyson
Skyler locked the door of her dorm slowly keeping her eyes on the carpeted floor. Six years she had lived, cried and studied there. John Hopkins University, the land of the smartest and richest med students around the U.S, and for some reason, Skyler found herself to be between them. Neurosurgeon Sprikes. That was her title now, around she was looked up to by the freshman and some of the people from her own class were to admire her. She didn’t go out often, if at all, she would take class, lock herself in her room and study. That’s how she made it out big with good grades. Now finally she was done, done with studying and was offered a job in her home town that would end up paying her well. Sighing deeply she walked back the halls were she would often run with a big VS duffel bag on her side. Saying goodbye to all of her teachers and classmates, she got on a taxi and went back to the place where she ran away from.
On the plane Sky thought back to the past few years, she graduated school Valedictorian and had the time of her life during summer with Harrison. Her biggest mistake had been leaving him, not telling him where she had been going and just disappearing out of his life was horrible for both of them. She knew it was the worst thing she could do but she was young and stupid. The actual letters she got when she was applying to college, she didn’t know what would happen with anything she was confused and in love. Harrison was her everything and to leave him behind caused her too much pain. After being in Maryland for so long without contact from her past, and now on a plane back home brought chills down her spine. Hours later she landed, her eyes scanned the airport before landing on the baggage claim. Sky wandered towards it, pulling her jacket tighter around her body and escorted herself out of the damned place with her large grey travel case. Within minutes she had a taxi and decided to drop off her things at her parents home not bothering to say hello but just opening the door and tossing everything inside before making her way towards the car again. Asking to be dropped off in town, Skyler walked around feeling the fresh air on her face and gratefully breathing in the smell of home.Â
As she walked by a flower shop, she took one of the sunflowers and took in the scent turning around to buy it only to crash into a firm chest. Scrunching up her nose and stepping back she heard a girl quickly take the man to check if he was okay before directing herself towards Sky. Lazily looking up, Skyler felt her heart drop when her brown eyes connected with a pair of blue ones she never thought she would ever get to see. All the thoughts of the summer before leaving came crushing down on Skyler, every kiss, hug, every time they slept on the same couch and her first and last time having sex with someone she liked, loved. Out of all of the people that lived in Seattle, she had an encounter with him. “Harrison?” She whispered, picking up the flower from the ground and moving her glance from the man to the woman besides him. Gulping she shook her head. “Shit sorry didn’t mean to um..- Hi.” She finally let her brain go and do as it pleased, the man she loved and never stopped loving was standing before her with another woman at his side, not that she had any right to be mad. “Sorry.” She repeated, casting her eyes down. She didn’t know what she was apologizing for anymore, if it was leaving or actually being able to see him again. Wrinkling her nose at the woman besides him, Skyler had to hold back the urge to snap at her when she spoke up about how Ms. Four eyes should watch where she was going.
Harrison had maintained a solid, steady life for a number of years, climbing up the ladder to management at the auto body shop where he worked for over five years. Weekly dinners with his father, as well as the occasional drop in to chat and have coffee. Papa was the only constant persons in his life since the age of eight. Ever since the day he woke up to Skyler missing from his bed, he had isolated himself from any serious relationships. Work, sex, work, sex, with the occasional shitty night's sleep and....then he met Brooke.Â
"Stay..." she had mumbled the first night they slept together, yanking him back to the bed. The tone was familiar, and comforting. She would drop by his job, bringing him lunch, snacks, and even dinner when he had to work late. Harry would take on domestic roles on his days off and while she worked; washing dishes, shoveling snow, vacuuming, etc. They worked out well together, and for the first time since Skyler, he felt happy. Almost complete.Â
In the distance, he could see the familiar frames that once graced his nightstand. "Babe, shh...it's okay," he mumbled to Brooke. He swallowed hard and looked her up and down, wondering who she was with now and why she even came back. Why all his calls went unanswered and why she left...everything he wanted to say to her, to scream at her ceased. He wanted answers, he had questions, his mind was racing as if it was eating him alive from the inside out. Glancing down at his toes, he tried to make sense of everything- Skyler was here, in front of him and his current beau. "I just..." he put a finger up to Brooke, nodded, and she walked away, giving the two of them space. "...What are you doing here, Sky?"Â

Feeling Harry’s lips on her own when entering the home almost made Sky’s knees like jelly. His hands on her face made a soft blush cover her cheeks as she returned the ever so sweet kiss. She slowly opened her eyes as he spoke up about how he and the kids had spent the day and the mess she knew she would eventually have to clean up. “Okay… I missed you.” She whispered, kissing his lips one last time before heading to her room, feeling his eyes on her and moving her hips more as she walked just so he could notice. Although hey gave themselves up to one another in his father’s basement on prom night, a lot had changed between the two. Sky ended up finishing high school with the highest grades and she had been accepted to many universities, the whole summer before leaving she spent inside of Harry’s home. Everyday was better than the previous up until it came time to go where Skyler made the biggest mistake of her life. Leaving him brought horrors but it gave her a degree. Now coming back she knew that it would be hard to get him to be with her again. But it happened, and here they were with three kids and still hopelessly in love with eachother. Sky slipped off her clothes inside of the room, putting them into the hamper and changing into her usual sweats and one of Harry’s shirts that would always smell like him. Looking at all the pictures they had of Harry and herself on his bike almost made her cringe. She loved the Harley to death but the night that he got in an accident with it was the worst night which turned into the worst month of her life. Overdue time at the hospital just to be able to check him whenever possible, crying in her locker room because of the fact that he had been drunk under the influence while driving and talking Mr. Jakobs out of worrying so much since he was in good hands while she herself was dying inside. Being back on Harrison’s side, she hugged him tightly and rested her chin on his chest. “The usual, two surgeries, a few checkups on patients. Everything was good or so, saw some people frol school come in that’s always interesting.” Pulling back and feeling his lips on her once again, she pouted a bit when he moved to make the table. Shaking her head slightly, Sky took the plates from his hands amd started to put them in their place only to be hugged by the leg. Looking down at her son Sky smiled widely. “Hey baby!” She grinned, picking Lucas up and hugging him tightly. “How was your day?” She asked, listening as he answered excited to both see her and talk to her. Her daughter and other son made their way down the stairs slowly, but once they saw their mom both kids took off. Sky kneeled on the ground and gave the three of them a bear hug. “Hello my little bears.” She stated, kissing each of their foreheads.
Harry listened and scoffed. "Yeah? High school guys or college?" Silently, he hoped it was people from high school- college years were a bad time for him, stuck in the city, working dead end jobs, living with his dad and wondering if Skyler would ever come back to him. It was the point in his life where his drinking was the worse; morning, noon, and night he was always intoxicated or blacked out somewhere. "Minor surgeries or major? I don't see too much blood on you...but you could've changed." He shrugged and started putting utensils out for the family on the table. Looking over at the four loves of his life, he thought about how lucky he ended up- most people had assumed he would've been dead by the age 25. The kids eagerly chatted up their mother, tattling on one another for things that happened way earlier in the day, showing her pictures they drew, making up stories..."Alright, let's go! Luke, Declan, Kayla- take your spots at the table." The kids finished up with their mother and hopped along to the table, pushing and tripping each other. Harry walked over to Skyer and kissed her once more on the lips, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. "Me and you tonight- I've got a bottle of wine and we can watch whatever chick flick you choose."
Prom? || Harrison and Skyler
Skyler didn’t bother holding back this time with her hands and let themselves tangle up in his hair as they kissed. Whenever the two of them were caught kissing during school she would normally stop and laugh more so because of the public display but the two of them together and alone meant she had nothing to hold back. At his words, Skyler smiled against his lips and hummed an answer before going back to gently biting on his bottom lip. Their bodies were to close that their heart beats were felt on eachothers chest and were mixing to the point where it sounded like one. When he spoke up again, Sky frowned a bit and shrugged. “That’s fine. I’m in school to graduate not to pay attention to what people have to say about me and my desicions. Plus I know I didn’t make any wrong ones.” She replied fixing his hair gently eyeing his face for a moment before letting her eyes trail down his bare chest and sweats. “Well your my gold star if that counts.” She grinned cheekily. “But teacher’s opinions matter less they can’t fail me for daiting someone they dont like.” listening to him talk like that hurt a bit because that meant he knew what it was liked to get often criticized by teachers or the students for the things he did, and she wasn’t going to be one of them. She was someone at the school, not someome who people wanted to be if not they wanted her grades, the fact that she was smart brought too much shit at a young age of being teased and to senior year she knew people still talked bacd. At first it annoyed her, then she tried taking a stand which ended in failiure but now she simply didn’t have the energy to pay it any attention. Her ears perked up at his next sentence, Sky looked up at him and smiled. “You are going to be in my future. I can promise you that.” She nodded letting her hands move down from his hair to his shoulders and arms until she was holding his hands. Biting her lip at his next words she laughed a bit. It would be a lie if she said she hasn’t thought about it before, the two of them just laying in a bed and each step being a new discovery between their bodies. “N-not even going to pull a card, I’ve thought about it before… just you and me and some candles sounds really good.” Sky rested her head on his shoulder and whispered. “But a night like that would be a dream you know..?” Leaning up to whisper in his ear Sky finished. “Give me one back massage and I promise you will have the best night of your life.”
He had to admire her drive and passion for education. Harry was only in school to pass the time and to avoid going to juvie, or at least that's how it felt most of the time. Hell, most of the time he didn't even go to class- he just slept in the library or drank in the bathroom. His eyes turned a deep blue, exhibiting a vulnerability that even he did not know existed. "Is your future a forever future?" he asked, timidly. Ever since his mother had split from his father, the ideas of forever and promises were a shaky subject. Skyler did not seem like she would leave, but if he knew himself, he would test her. He would push her limits and see what it would take for her to leave, and when she did he would throw it right back in her face. But not tonight. Tonight was a night for exploring feelings and showing honesty to each other. "You've thought about sex? With me?" He grinned, pleased with himself. "Am I gonna hear details?" At her next words, quietly ringing inside his ears, his eyes widened. "Are you...tonight?"

"sprikesxskyler:
Sky leaned back a bit, resting her hands on his thighs and watching his face as he took some time to calm down. She had pulled his strings, unintentionally, but it still happened. Part of her was nervous that he would end up actually yelling at her, it was too late in the night and for him to be the one yelling, Sky wouldn’t have been able to keep her cool. Biting her lip as he finally opened his mouth to speak, Sky let her eyes roam around his face to try and read what he was feeling. “N-No I’m not I don’t doubt anything about us I was j-just… I don’t even know I made a mistake.” She sighed. With his next sentence, Sky didn’t even bother speaking up to answer, letting her hand on his thighs, Sky leaned forward and kissed him. It was suppose to be short but caught in the moment most of her emotions poured into the kiss, her slight anger for Aika, how sorry she felt for being rude, and how much she wanted him at the moment. When she finally pulled back, moving her head back in order to look at him, Sky spoke up. “Nothin should be off likits with me. I’m just not used to having someone’s who’s mine. But… Your past, and mine that’s ours alone. Whatever happened before me is all yours and there’s no doubt that I have no right to be angry about what might have happened. But today, ever since we started this, what happens here and up, that’s ours together. My future belongs to you and that’s all that matters.” Looking into his eyes as she spoke, Sky quieted down to listen to him. Nodding at his words, Sky kissed him again to confirm his words, she was his from now and ever.
His eyes were closed and her mouth was on his, lips were being tugged and nipped at while smiles fought to burst through. She stayed on top of him, and Harry couldn't think. There were times when he only got through class by looking at her and imagining this moment in his mind. "Nothing's off limits with me either," he mumbled against her lips. There was no other girl to him anymore except for Skyler. She was the only one who could break him down like this; slowly but surely, his walls were coming down. "You know you might get shit for dating me," he told her, flickering his eyes open and looking around her face. The freckles doting her nose made a lump form in his throat- how was she even real? "From your teachers and shit. I'm not really anybody's gold star." Harrison could not have cared less about what people thought of him, but that perception changed with Skyler. He didn't want anybody to say anything to her that would hurt her mentally or emotionally, and he was sure that they would. People didn't know how to keep their mouths shut nowadays. "I do wanna be in your future," he finally told her. "Tomorrow, the next day, years from now...I used to," he blushed and a small chuckle escaped his mouth, "I used to think about what I'd do if I ever got the chance to be with you. Y'know obviously I wanna say that I'd just fuck you and be done with it, but it's not like that with you. I wanna...get candles and all that bullshit for you and make it special."Â
Family!Skyson
Skyler walked out of the hospital in a pair of black scrubs, brushing her hair away from her face. Two surgeries and three checkups later she was finally going home.Home.Meaning Harrison and her babies that she loved so much. Sitting up in her truck, Sky started the engine and looked before her for a moment her mind going back to everything that had led up to this. Harrison and herself had been through the depths of hell and they were finally making their way out, although arguments between the two were common, things had started to get easier for the both of them now. She had scored the job of her dreams and he had been working with their kids.Driving out of the parking lot, Skyler called Harrison’s dad for a moment to talk to him about carrying for the kids on the weekend so she could finally pull out some time to take Harry on a date.  Within an hour or so she was at the front door of her home and blowing a sigh of relief. She never knew how she had been able to make it to this point, at some time she had left Harrison to study and when she came back, though it took a lot of time, she managed to still be with him, to have him still love her. Shaking her head in disbelief and opening the door, Skyler made her way to the kitchen, and tossed her bag to the couch. “Home at last.” She whispered, making her way towards her room kicking off her shoes, kicking them into a corner and listening to one of the kids showers run she sighed happily. This was what she had worked so hard to get too, this type of peace.
"There she is!" Harry called out from the kitchen once the sound of the door opening reached his ears. Turning the stovetop heat down, he went to the front door and grabbed Skyler by the face, pulling her in for a sweet kiss. "Kids are cleaning up and dinner will be out in another fifteen minutes. House is a mess cause we made a fort today and watched a few movies," he chuckled at the short term memory. Dropping his arms, he allowed her to go deeper inside the house, admiring her from every angle. After everything they had gone through, together, separate, with a thousand miles between them, she was his- officially. He had fathered all three of her children, staying with her every step of the way. He had cut the cord, spent countless nights in the hospital with her, and argued with doctors. He knew the parenting books inside and out, though he rarely applied any of their suggestions. If anybody had asked him years ago where he thought his future was going, he definitely would not have said living comfortably with the only girl to make him feel a wave of emotions on a daily basis, let alone having children. Harry's support system had grown tremendously- he still had his Pop, his friends, and now he had been regularly attending AA meetings for his drinking. Three years sober and counting- after an accident on his bike that almost cost him his life, he decided to change for his kids. Through clearer eyes and a clearer mind, he was finally appreciating everything that he had- he knew he didn't deserve any of it. "Kids!" he called out, listening to the soft pitter-patter of their feet shuffling on the floor upstairs, rushing to get to the table. "Tell me about your day baby," he stated, giving one more soft kiss on her lips before setting the table.Â

"I wasn’t about to be ignored by my brother because of that." Sky confessed, blowing out a breath and twisting some loose strands of hair between her fingers. Cringing at herself for her tone and at him for his words, Sky finally sighed. "I know I know.. Sorry." She mumbled, keeping herself looking at his chest. When he straightened himself and looked into her eyes Sky felt one of her inner walls build itself back up. She hadn’t meant to sound so sad or more so mad about the situation but she couldn’t control her tone at the moment much less the emotions that her eyes held. Flinching at his wording of what the girl did to him, Sky rubbed the bridge of her nose to relieve the sort of headache that seemed to appear. "No no. I’m not mad its not that. I-I half gay really? I mean… it’s bi it has a name. I-Imm not mad that a girl sucked your dick Harry what happened before is none of my business." She finally confessed almost instantly regretting her wording and sighing. "I-I’m not mad! Christ I know, I knew you weren’t a virgin and I-Im not really surprised at all it just. Nothing forget it I didn’t word my sentence the right way I’m sorry." She apologized, chewing on her bottom lip. "I just, I don’t know I though.. nothing I was right about us having actual emotions and I shouldn’t have gotten mad."
Harry scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Bi. Whatever, I'm not up to date on all this shit." Crossing his arms, he leaned back and attempted to cool himself down. 10...9...8...his therapist had taught him to count down from ten, not that it usually did anything. The majority of the time he still ended up lashing out- the counting just added a dramatic pause. 7...6...5...he shouldn't have been getting mad at Skyler- it made no sense. 4...3..."It just feels like you're doubting my feelings for you and that's not the goddamn case at all," he finally admitted, trying to keep his voice steady. "I thought we were just being fucking honest with each other about our past and...shit." Carefully, he moved his hands up to his forehead, sweeping the blonde strands of hair away from his face. "This is all fucking new to me...I don't know what's off limits to tell you, I'm s-" he groaned, trying to fight the word, "I'm yours, Skyler. I promise you that. I'm yours when we're in this basement, and I'm yours at school. I'm yours when we're separated from each other and I'm yours when we're together."Â
