Born into a wealthy family in sunny Miami, Florida- Holiday lived what most would call a privileged life. On the outside the Diaz family had everything, an esteemed judge wife and mother, a notable lawyer husband and father and three beautiful smart children. What people didn't see however, was Alanzo favoring his sons, Coyote and Foxx while Holiday often sat left out and a mother who's natural instinct to nurture ran in the opposite direction.
Holiday wouldn't have minded being the scapegoat for her father if he hadn't also set unrealistic expectations of her. Each child was expected to follow suit in the law career, something which Holiday found dreadfully boring. She was always a free spirit, spending most days at the beach surfing or in the studio practicing her ballet. At 16 Holiday was diagnosed with Bipolar type 2 Disorder, although she hardly is medicated, feeling that she handles everything 'fine'.
She attended college, begrudgingly studying law but due to partying and developing a co-dependence on drugs she flunked out. After dropping out of school, Holiday took up creating adult content on Only Fans. During her short stint in schooling, however, she met a man named Ian. The two were inseparable, Holiday finally felt like she had the love she'd never received from her family. A few years into their relationship, Ian proposed to her and she very excitedly agreed. This was a big deal for the Diaz family, taking any opportunity to show off in front of their friends. Her parents began preparing the entire show, Holiday's opinion on her own wedding being ignored although it wasn't enough to damper her excitement.
Two weeks before their wedding, Holiday dropped in on Ian at his apartment, where she discovered he'd been sleeping with his co-worker for the last year. In a heartbroken daze Holiday packed one suitcase, jumped into her car and drove until the gas tank was running on empty. Spending her the last of her money on a hotel room in Cypress Cove, she decided to make Georgia a place for a fresh start, getting a job at Afterglow. She is still living indefinitely out of a hotel in South Side.
