Question. What's the backstory for your pokepasta oc? They seem cool. I love your art
Firstly I'm glad you like my art!! Im sorry i dont post as much often since I get so busy but so far this is what I have on my pokepasta oc:
I designed Null to simply be a pokemon researcher, who spent his time learning about the vast world, habitats, etc. Like how any researcher would be in the games (like the scientists or the other professors)
Moving on with his research, while residing in Sinnoh this escalated during the time where there was little to no research on the mythical pokemon: Darkrai, so seeing this opportunity Null dove into his work in search of it, trying to uncover what other mysteries behind what this pokemon was. (despite the warnings)
Countless days and weeks, diving into what people would think is a death trap waiting to happen, eventually becoming the one to be face to face with the pokemon itself once it became night.
When word got out there was nothing coming from the researcher for nearly a couple of days, it spread fast like a wildfire as they collectively attempted to bring the researcher back from the nightmare. Once woken up by the lunar feather, he was met with his work vanished, scribbled and written to never attempt this "experiment" ever again.
When things seemed to start to die down after the incident, no one had heard from the researcher since the test. After that moment, refusing to go through that night again, he stayed up day after day, draining away that sense of humanity left of him, but that didnt stop the itch of conducting experiments, having test subjects, eventually becoming the test subject of something else to get that sense of rush..
dozens of missing posters started to scatter around the region, missing trainers with little to no sign of their whereabouts, pokemon remained unharmed but it was clear whoever was met path with this scientist never heard the light of day ever again.
I'm still currently thinking more what i can do or what I can change about him, but I'm glad you find him cool and hope to work on him a bit more as time goes on!
