Creepsโ Deepest Insecurities
Ticci Toby
Toby has lived his whole life navigating the challenges that come with Touretteโs and a severe stutter. The tics, the repetition, the garbled attempts at speech, those things donโt bother him much anymore. Theyโre just part of his world, part of how he moves through life. He's learned to live with the stares and the judgement. Thatโs not what gets to him.
What truly eats at him is something deeper. Toby struggles to connect with people in ways that feel natural. Itโs the aftermath of a lifetime spent on the outside looking in. Growing up, he was isolated early, labeled as "weird" or "difficult" before anyone bothered to understand him. Most people didnโt try, they stared or mocked, or just avoided him entirely. Because of that, Toby never really learned how to be around others.
Social cues confuse him, subtlety goes right over his head. Heโs wired to take things at face value, which makes sarcasm, innuendo, and unspoken tension frustratingly difficult to navigate. Conversations often feel like minefields, and while he usually means well, his brutal honesty tends to push people away more than draw them in.
He knows he can be awkward. He can see how easily Tim and Brian move through social situations, how they can talk, lie, manipulate, and blend in when needed. He envies that desperately. It stings, knowing that no matter how much he adapts, heโll always be the one people label as โoff.โ Heโs self-aware enough to know heโs differentโฆ and it hurts that he canโt change that, no matter how hard he tries.
More than the tics, more than the stutter, it's the isolation of feeling like the "odd one out" that cuts deepest.
Tim/Masky
Tim carries rage like a disease. It's deep, searing, and impossible to cure. It's the kind of anger that burns, raw and violent, clawing at the inside of his chest until he sees red. Heโs learned to manage it over time, learned to breathe through the moments where everything inside him wants to snap. But it never really goes away. Itโs always there, waiting.
What really gets to him is the fact that he canโt fully control it. That it got bad enough he needed pills just to function. Just to keep from breaking someoneโs jaw for looking at him wrong. Itโs terrifying, knowing that his own body, his own mind, could betray him at any moment.
It takes a lot to push him there, but when he does go, thereโs no pulling back. No rational thought, no gentle version of him left. And that truth eats away at him more than heโd ever admit.
He looks at Brian who's composed and calculated, who's always a step ahead, and it only deepens the ache. Tim will never be like that. He reacts before he thinks, moves before he speaks. Thereโs no cool detachment in him, just fire and impulse. And Masky, the side of him that emerges when that control slips, is a force of destruction.
He knows he'll never be able to have a functioning relationship because of this. He can be charming and caring and protective, but he knows himself and what heโs capable of. One wrong word, one bad fight, one moment of weakness, and his girl could end up in a pool of blood, and he wouldnโt even remember doing it. Thatโs why he keeps people at armโs length.
Brian/Hoodie
Brian misses who he used to be. The man he was before the blood and violence, before everything inside him turned hollow. Sometimes he catches glimpses of that old Brian, buried under layers of instinct and compulsion, and it sickens him. Truth is, he doesnโt know where that man went. Or if he ever really existed.
Now, whatโs left is something he can barely look at. Heโs become cold and detached. If he ever let himself feel, if he let the guilt seep in, it would drown him. Thereโs a part of him, buried but never silent, thatโs disgusted by what heโs become. The kills, the manipulation, the control, it isnโt just instinct anymore, it's need and compulsion.
Sometimes he wonders if thereโs anything left to save. If thereโs still a soul underneath the silence. If thereโs a God, what would He see when He looked at Brian? Would He turn away in revulsion, too?
His insecurity is pretty much existential rot at this point. It seeps into every part of his life. He thinks of his family, the ones who once knew him, and wonders what theyโd say now if they saw what he does - what he enjoys. What heโs capable of. And when those thoughts come, he can barely breathe through the shame.
Love? Affection? The idea of being close to someone in a real, healthy way feels like a cruel joke. He doesn't believe he deserves that. Heโs seen what happens to people who get close to him - he destroys them.
To him, he isnโt even a man anymore. Heโs a walking plague that devours whatever he touches.
Eyeless Jack
The uncontrollable urge to consume human flesh has stripped Jack of any sense of what "normal" used to mean. He can barely stand being around the other creeps most of the time. Sure, theyโre all monsters in their own right, but heโs the one they look at like a rotting wound. The filthy and gruesome one.
He doesnโt have friends. More often than not, he's alone. Reduced to a role: the doctor, the butcher, the necessary evil. And deep down, Jack believes that every awful thing in his life spirals back to one thing: his hunger.
When the others sit around the table and share a meal, when someone casually opens a bag of chips and tosses it around, when coffee is brewing - Jack is never offered a cup. Never asked to join, never invited in. And he gets it - of course they donโt want him there. Heโs disgusting. His appetite is unnatural, inhumane. It violates every rule of what it means to be a person.
Heโs made peace with that. At least, thatโs what he tells himself.
Relationships? Almost laughable. How do you look someone in the eye, trace your fingers over their skin, kiss their throat, when half the time, some dark, hideous part of you is wondering how they'd taste? Love becomes a temptation. Desire and hunger get tangled up in his head, and heโs terrified of the day he wonโt be able to tell the difference.
And then there's the quiet envy, the aching kind. Watching strangers laugh, hold hands, complain about their jobs. People who get to fall in love without fear. People who eat without shame. People who get to live without the weight of what they are.
Jack doesnโt get that. He gets the gnawing reminder that this - the blood, the teeth, the isolation, is all thatโs left for him.
And every time he feeds, every time he rips into flesh just to feel something close to full, a bitter voice in him whispers that this is the closest heโll ever come to connection.
BEN Drowned
Ben likes to joke around. Heโs the funny guy - laid-back, always ready to make someone laugh. Thatโs the version of him people are used to. The one who doesn't seem to take anything seriously. And because of that, no one really takes him seriously either.
Heโs the comic relief. The guy you go to when you need a laugh, but never when you need something real.
And that cuts deeper than heโll ever let on. Because Ben knows thereโs more to him. Heโs smart. Sharp, even. He can be thoughtful, capable. He wants to be part of real conversations - the heavy stuff, the planning, the conflict. But the second he tries to step into those spaces, he feels the air shift. Tim shoots him a cold glare, like heโs intruding. Toby snaps and tells him heโs being annoying, even when Ben is just trying to help.
So he shrinks back. Makes a dumb joke and plays it off. Laughs a little too loud. Then walks away with a smile that doesnโt quite reach his eyes.
But inside he's burning. He hates feeling small. Hates that no one thinks heโs capable of anything beyond a punchline. Itโs exhausting, constantly having to hide the fact that he cares, that he wants to be seen. And every time heโs dismissed, every time they brush him off like a buzzing fly, it reinforces the one fear he canโt laugh off:
That maybe theyโll never really take him seriously.
Jeff The Killer
Jeff has no filter, no pause button. He does what he wants, when he wants, and God help you if you try to tell him otherwise. He believes every word of his bullshit. That heโs better, smarter, stronger, scarier.
But under the surface of his arrogance, there's nothing at all. A deep, festering emptiness heโll never admit to. He doesnโt trust anyone. Canโt connect. Doesnโt really want to anyway. Because relationships require vulnerability, and Jeff sees vulnerability as weakness. And weakness disgusts him. In others and in himself.
Thatโs why he lashes out when things get too real. Why he ruins anything that even looks like intimacy. If someone tries to care he'll laugh in their face, cut them down with a cruel comment, make sure they never try again.
And deep down, he knows heโs broken. Irredeemable. Thereโs no soft underbelly, no hidden โgood side.โ Whatever was left of that burned away years ago. He doesnโt want to get better, doesn't want to heal. He wants to burn out on his terms.
The part heโll never admit, not even to himself, is that sometimes, in those rare quiet moments, he wonders what it would be like to stop running. To sit still and not feel the urge to destroy everything he touches.
The thought doesnโt last long though. Heโll drown it out with drugs, with violence, whatever rush he can find. But itโs there. A tiny, gnawing whisper.
e. jack... whose been out on missions far too often as of late. however, even after a long day of working under the operator and dealing with jeff's constant annoyance, he makes sure to pick up your favorite food.
e. jack... who rushes home, heart aching at the thought of you asleep on the couch. he can imagine it. you're probably curled up in his blanket, waiting for his sorry ass to come home and cuddle you...
e. jack... who silent steps into your shared home, quickly re-latching the rusted, silver, apartment key to the hand-made (crafted lovingly by you) chain around his neck.
e. jack... who, practically melts as soon as he steps into the apartment, any and all tension he had accumulated disapating once in your presence. he immediately kicks his heavy snow boots off, gently placing them next to your fuzzy slippers before entering the kitchen.
e. jack... who, even in the deep hours of the night, still takes time to notice all that you do for him- including leaving him a cup of warm black tea, topped with a loving splash of honey. it was neatly placed on a pretty lavender tea set, one he had bought stolen from a small antique store you had mentioned.
e. jack... who notices a small sticky note laying next to the teacup. on it was a small drawing of the two of you holding hands, with text reading, "i hope you had a good day at work jackie! love u, mwah." while he wishes he didnt have any responsibilities, he would miss the sweet letters you wrote him.
e. jack... whose heart may finally give in when he notices you asleep on the couch. specifically on the armchair he claimed as his spot. you were curled up in one of his shirts, legs bare and wrapped around his pillow- looking as soft as an angel.
e. jack... who slips in behind you, body twisting to meld with yours, a clawed hand curling around your mid section. his hips are slotted against your ass, as close and comfortable as can be. he buries his nose in your neck, inhaling deeply with a soft purr.
eyeless jack... who wishes for this moment to never end.

Eren was hesitant for you to find out he was a Titan, not wanting to scare you off. The feeling he developed for you were strong and he didnโt want to risk losing you.
But the moment you saw Eren in his Titan form, you were in amazement. How many meters tall he was, how he had such control over it. You were alone with him in outskirts of the wall, surrounded by woods, but you werenโt afraid. You knew if another Titan showed up, Eren would keep you safe.
โBeautiful,โ you murmured, still gazing up at the large titan; your boyfriend.
Eren didnโt stay in his Titan form for long, not wanting to risk drawing attention, so you hung back and watched as he fell the ground, it shaking beneath your feet. Smoke bellowed from the nape of the titans neck to where Eren pulled himself out. He made it clear not to touch him right away because typically his skin was hot and he didnโt want you to hurt yourself.
You swallowed, heart thundering in your chest, and watched as he slowly descended down the now decaying corpse of his titan, Eren standing in front of you in normal height.
โHi,โ he spoke, nervous. He was waiting for you to run off, afraid, and never speak to him again.
โHi,โ you said, repeating him. โThat was-.โ
โScary. Fucked up.โ
You immediately shook your head, taking a step towards him. โBeautiful.โ
Eren gave a small smile. โReally? Youโre not afraid.โ
โNot at all.โ
You looked him over needing to make sure he was in fact back to his human form and in one piece. When your eyes lingered on the marks around his eyes, you sucked in a breath.
Immediatly he knew why and shrugged. โNot sure why I get them. We call them Titan Marks.โ
Eren was ashamed of them because he let his long hair fail into his face as a way to hide them. So you finally closed the distance and rested your hands on his chest.
โTheyโre beautiful. Youโre beautiful.โ
You kept saying that word, beautiful, cause itโs the only way you could describe him. Eren was beautiful, in his human form and his titan form.
Slowly, your hands raised up towards his face, hesitating only for a moment over the Titan marks. Not because you were afraid to touch them but because of the small intake of breath which caught in Erens throat.
โNo oneโs ever touched them,โ he whispered.
You hummed, a quiet noise, and then gingerly ran your fingers over his Titan marks. You gasped at how they felt under the tips of your fingers. His eyes fluttered shut, hands resting on your hips tightly so you could leave. Eren kept you flushed against him, needing to feel your body in such an intimate moment.
You continued to brush your fingers over every line and groove of his marks as they slowly began to fade into his skin. Every stoke of your fingers over the marks made him whimper.
โI know I keep saying this but youโre so beautiful, Eren. Every single part of you and I love you even more,โ you proclaimed.
He held onto your wrist as he placed four kisses on the inside of your palm, a silent I love you too.

ok i just wanted to be able to talk about how the process was with this and how i feel about the results and whatnot...
ive been wanting to make a google slides visual novel since i was like 13 LOL it hit the point where i was repeatedly told i should just learn to code but i was like NOOOOO ITS GOTTA BE GOOGLE SLIDESSSS which is totally stupid but hey. i think that gives it some sort of simple charm that reminds me of being 16 and doing little projects in my room LOL i like working with the easiest tools . my bad
anyway. im just very happy LOL. it's not perfect but i feel like i came full circle in a sense?!?! i've been into creepypasta since i was 9 and it comforted me when things were really hard, and when i was 18 i was going through a really hard time and got back into creepypasta as a way to distract myself. i've always had a habit of throwing myself into fiction for escapism when things suuucked.
i'm 20 now but i've met SO many amazing people, had so many fun awesome exciting projects with friends, created tons of stuff im proud of, felt more motivated to create since i was like 13, have been inspired by so many amazing artists/authors on here, etc. just so so so lucky to find community in such a tight-knit cute fandom that thrives off of creativity and playing around! i hope i can keep the momentum and make a couple more chapters this year, but im kinda busy with school and work...LOL . i'm just excited to have this posted so i can have more discussion about it T_T

As far as I know, the Donghua has no plans to get an official english dub.. Idk how legalities and allat work, but I wonder if a fandub project could possibly happen? ๐ค
I've never organized something like that, but I think it definitely could be fun! I like voice acting but I've never had an opportunity to. Is anyone interested in something like this?
I'm not sure how putting the voiceovers / releasing them would actually work.. but it's fun to think about, hehe.
