Cherries are nearly there!
So much for netting the cherries, birds still got in and took the lot 😢

Cherries are nearly there!
So much for netting the cherries, birds still got in and took the lot 😢
I now have three loufas and have named them, Loufa Vandross, Lex Loufa and Martin Loufa King.
Finally got my canes more organised with this, fixed to the shed. Before, they were just stacked up with a bit of string around them to support them but still all falling about.
This is the biggest any of my loufas have got so far!
Got a humongous strawberry on the way!
Cherries are nearly there!
I was checking my leeks which I planted in a hole with toilet roll tube in it. Found this little thing had fallen in and couldn’t get out 😮 I helped it get out and watched it wander off.
Cherries are definitely happening!
The strawberries have recovered from mystery disaster in 2018 and are producing well, better than last year.
Baby loufas coming
Made room in the greenhouse to put a couple of loufas in pots.
Lots of lovely flowers on the blueberries!
Self sown sunflower & cosmos!
Netted the cherry tree this year, might actually get some to eat!
More flaars from the allotment.
Flaars from the allotment
We’re getting a decent crop of asparagus this year from the mature plants. And my baby asparagus grown from seed two years ago and planted out last year have survived!
