     Jem has to cover her mouth before another fit of giggles can escape. ❝You - a DIVA? Now my SISTER, she can be a total pain. Always has to have her mineral water and oh, if it isn’t at room temperature.❞ She clears her throat. ❝But she means well. She’ll say THANK YOU and smile, unlike some I COULD mention.❞

     She smiles fondly. Thorn’s tale isn’t what she was going for, but hearing about how she got to stardom is reward in itself. Really, she could talk about anything and Jem would have a permanent grin stretched across her face.

      ❝I guess that’s because I know where most of these people come from. The hungry, poor, those who live in run-down establishments. Before we moved into STARLIGHT MANSION, we had a smaller house. It was my home growing up, so it had a lot of good memories. But overtime and with more girls coming to stay with us, and then my father falling ill, it was hard to find room and something was always breaking down or a pipe was spewing water somewhere. A lot of the younger girls were always wearing hand-me-downs and it was hard to raise money to buy even the essentials. I don’t want others to have to go through that, not if I can do something to make it a little bit easier for them.❞
