People have already pointed out that Abaddons vessel isn’t a Victorian child, but something else I wanna point out is that when people write the vessel and the priest they tend to use kind of Shakespearean language and refer to it as “old English” but that’s not actually old English.

The things Shakespeare wrote is actually Early Modern English! Old English would be something like Beowulf, which looks like this
