I feel like this would be like an alternate version of what happened with Miguel.
Except… knowing Ernesto's character... He's going to be less obsessed with you... and more obsessed with the attention you and others give him.
How you managed to get into the afterlife... could be up to you.
Maybe you're actually related to Ernesto this time.
It's assumed due to his manipulative charisma that Ernesto has gotten with a few women.
Him having a relative out there somewhere isn't too out of the ordinary.
Somehow you get stuck in the afterlife and learn that Ernesto is your relative.
Probably a grandparent?
Either way... I mostly just want to talk about his behavior towards his obsession.
When it comes to how Ernesto was with Miguel... people who saw the movie are split on Ernesto's intentions.
Some people think Ernesto's behavior towards Miguel was genuine when he learned they were related.
He excitedly showed Miguel off, grinning as he showed his lineage off to his fans.
Others theorize that this was all a ploy to get more popularity.
After all, look! He's also a family man~
Ignore the fact he murdered his best friend for fame because he didn't want to be forgotten or something.
I honestly feel both interpretations are rather in character.
So as a platonic yandere... He would definitely parade you around.
Granted... it's a shock to see you alive here...
But hey, if you're his flesh and blood, he'll make the best of it.
As said before, Ernesto's yandere personality is manipulative at its core.
Originally he would use his living descendant as a way to gain more attention to himself.
Not only do his fans think of him positively...
But he definitely enjoys your attention.
You are his blood... and you look like you adore him.
Ernesto knows he's been faking it until he makes it...
Yet it feels so worth it when you give him such excited smiles and ask him so many questions.
I feel like he'd subconsciously grow attached to you.
Your stay here is meant to be temporary.
Despite that... Ernesto keeps finding ways to extend it.
Even as you begin to grow more skeletal.
It's always just one more story... one more game together... one more song....
It's fun... initially.
But the longer you're here... the less of a chance you have to leave.
I feel like Ernesto would want to keep your attention on him positive.
So if there was any rumors of his actions... He'll have them squashed.
Which... would entirely depend on if Miguel was in the afterlife around the time you were.
If Miguel, Hector, and the rest of his family were involved... Ernesto would double down on isolation.
Ernesto is selfish and greedy... I think if he was obsessed with someone that ultimately came from him...
Maybe in this case he doesn't want to let you go?
It would be different from how he acts with Miguel.
While he was willing to let Miguel go... maybe for one reason or another... Ernesto wants to keep you here.
You two work well with one another.
Especially if you took up music.
Hell, he might even catch on to the fact you're good at music and not... well... a poser like him.
So... He wants to keep you here.
It's selfish, he should let you go home.
Yet when you bring it up... when you tell him you should get going and he should give you his blessing...
He doesn't.
He... shuts down the idea.
He starts trying to make deals with you... saying you two could be the ultimate music duo.
Ironic... coming from the man who killed his previous music partner.
You disagree, you plead, you need to get home.
Ernesto would take this as a slight.
How dare you!
Don't you know who he is!?
Family should... help family.
But instead of helping you... He insists you "help" him.
Imagine Ernesto locking you in a room, intending to wait out the time you have left here.
He would say he's sorry... but he isn't.
He's selfish, he's doing what he wants.
It only benefits him too.
No matter what your choice was... Ernesto was probably going to trap you here once he got attached.
He's probably had plenty of kids...
So keeping you won't harm his reputation, right?
He'll just convince others you joined willingly.
You have such talent, yeah?
You'll learn you're better off at his side... eventually....
Yet again... Ernesto gets away with murder...
First Hector... now you... and he has no shame.

💚🐊Tried to make this work for both regular Loki and Lady Loki :) So sometimes I say 'They' because me using 'He/She' in a sentence looked awkward (To me). Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
I feel like Loki is definitely flirty. Loki would probably try to be charming and spoil you. Loki knows how to work people... so expect honeyed words and teasing touches.
Loki wants to be acknowledged by you and be recognized. So I imagine Loki would be doing anything they can to garner your affection. Loki's insecure due to feeling like an outsider... so the god/goddess will use their obsession as their main way of getting love.
Love is complicated with Loki....
I would say Loki can be intense. Loki likes control... especially if they fear you leaving them. So sometimes I think Loki can be... smothering due to their personal feelings.
Loki hates being discarded.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
I feel like Loki could murder... but they're very strategic about it. Loki prefers elaborate schemes more than getting bloody. However... if someone was going to take you from them... Loki might not mind crushing anyone who tries.
Loki prefers breaking others mentally... but murder is not the worst thing they've done.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
Loki would most likely spoil you and maybe treat you like a pet at times. They'd keep you at their palace in Yggsgard and keep you close. I feel like Loki wouldn't entirely mock you... more like... patronizing teasing at times?
You are precious to Loki... a treasure... so they'll keep you in the palace where only they can see you. You'd be isolated... but surely that won't be bad, right?
Loki's all you need... They'll prove it.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
Loki likes control and manipulation... so they might. However... it's more like coercion/manipulating you into doing things yourself.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
I'd say Loki is vulnerable with you. As said before, Loki wants to feel accepted. They'd do anything to keep your attention on them. Loki acts like an intimidating ruler of Yggsgard with help from Hela...
But you can maybe bring Loki to their knees if you play your cards right.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Amused. Loki would probably be amused by your defiance. It's something they plan to break eventually.... Deep down though... Loki is probably a little hurt and irritated.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
It can be. Loki does love their games. Watching you escape could be fun for them... but if you push it Loki will get annoyed.
You two can have your fun... but you still belong to Loki.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
When it comes to Loki... there's probably potential. Like maybe them kidnapping you to Yggsgard to make you their consort could be bad since there's no easy way home due to the Timeline Entanglement.
That or maybe Loki uses hypnosis on you... y'know, like the mind control in the movies? You'd be a passenger in your own mind... while your body is forced to follow along with Loki's plans.
Then there's the classic... simply seeing them snap and kill someone close to you, their dagger dripping blood and their eyes... manic.
Those are just some examples.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
Definitely marriage, Loki wants at least a ring to show you're bound to them. If not that, they'll dress you up in Asgardian attire.
You'll be their consort eventually.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
YES. Loki is easily jealous and envious of others even if they hide it. I feel like they could either lash out or cope. Loki would more likely lash out at someone like Thor too close to you I think, someone they feel threatened by essentially. Most of the time Loki will hide how they really feel though through deception... but they're definitely seething.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Charming, flirtatious, manipulative. Loki is affectionate but definitely puts thoughts in your head to make you love them more. They're affectionate and sometimes touchy... kissing you and holding you close. They're possessive... and in private? Loki can be vulnerable.
Seeing such a thing is a privilege... Loki makes that clear even as they nuzzle close to you to hold you.
They just need to make sure you won't disappear on them... you're their source of validation and affection.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
Loki treats courting like one of their schemes. Every action, every word, is planned to make you more receptive to them. Loki reads you like a book, saying just the right things. Manipulation is simply who Loki is.
They probably met you during the Timeline Entanglement. Somehow you got to Yggsgard, maybe a hero yourself... and they knew they needed you to themselves.
That or maybe you saved Loki in battles due to teaming up... and Loki couldn't let such good deeds go unpunished, right?
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Loki is a god/goddess of masks... so I definitely think they'd be changing their behavior depending on who they're around.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
Isolation is one... hypnosis another... maybe degrading you could be another with Loki treating you like a pet?
Loki may just restrain you with gold chains too... These are just some examples.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Loki can be controlling... but wouldn't limit things unless they felt they had to.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
Very patient. Loki may have a limit with patience... but a good schemer must be patient.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
I feel like if you're one of the only people they could genuinely connect with... it would leave a LASTING mark on them. Loki may move on... but if you're ever brought up it might break them again.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Not entirely and no.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
I'd have to say childhood because Loki's story in any iteration is... kinda tragic. Loki feels like an outsider, like they don't belong in their own family. Then you come along... and they can't take it anymore.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Loki would want to comfort you... but will probably give you space. They'd act like it's a big deal... but you can tell they're worried?
The alternative is Loki just pulls you into their lap, calling you dramatic... in reality they're scared they pushed you too far.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
I am once again using this as just a free fact space. Loki would be great at stalking as they can pretend to be anyone. So escape... will be difficult.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
Loki can be vulnerable with you in private. So maybe during those times? You could try to say the right things to slowly get more freedom. Loki is a master manipulator though... so be careful as they might be able to tell you're using them.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Physically? Not intentionally.... Mentally? Maybe.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Loki again could go either way. I think Loki likes to be worshipped, naturally as a god/goddess. Yet due to Loki's insecurities... I think Loki is also a worship yandere. Loki would want you to know how much you unravel them... they're normally so composed... and you break it.
It's time they show you just how much they're bound to you.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
Loki likes to play the long game... so I imagine Loki would wait as long as it takes to make sure you're theirs.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
I feel like it could go either way with this. Loki wants you to love them genuinely. At the same time... I can see Loki enjoying the thought of breaking you, to the point that Loki becomes the only person who matters to you....
It's wrong... but sometimes it feels right to Loki.
Basil Karlo/Clayface with a coworker reader? Or a civilian reader in general (Romantic preferably)
I'll try my best, sure! Watched videos to understand him better so I hope I got this.... Sorry if the pacing feels strange on this... I came down with a cold at the time if writing this yet still really wanted to write ^^;
Yandere! Basil Karlo/Clayface with Civilian/Actor! Reader HCs
Alright, Clayface has had various different versions in the comics.
He's gone by many different names and at least three different origins from what I've seen.
The one that I think is the current lore for this version of Clayface is the one where he's an actor, gets into a car crash, gets fired and becomes Clayface after overdosing on Renu or something similar?
That's the origin I'm going to use.
I feel like both of the ideas Anon gave works for him.
I can definitely see Basil falling for maybe another actor he usually co-starred with?
Even better if you were always a love interest for his character too.
That way he's already got some feelings he originally was trying to suppress.
He tells himself it's just professional... Yet Basil at the time had a lot of charm as an actor.
So he probably tried to convince you on a date a few times... up to you if ever actually agreed.
Basil used to be very vain and entitled as an actor.
He has an ego and already gets obsessive about the smallest things.
You care for Basil as a co-worker, maybe a friend.
Dating a man as egotistical as him just seemed like it would just lead to ruin.
Unfortunately it seems no matter what decision you made... you were going to be ruined.
Even if you dated Basil... gave him the attention he desired from you...
He'd just become more obsessed.
Basil in his prime was probably already possessive of you as his co-star.
During scenes he'd deliberately touch you, claiming improvisation was needed for the scene.
It was not.
After filming he'd immediately look for you, offering dinner... maybe a nice drive?
He's confident he can win your heart over.
You do care for him... as a lover or not is up to you.
The point is he's already obsessive towards you as a normal human.
Then the accident happens... he crashes his car... scars himself forever... begins relying on the Renu more and more.
He seems normal when you see him... tense yet still looks the same.
A miracle... you have no idea what he's hiding however.
Then things take a sharp turn for the worst.
The last you see of Basil is on the news.
He's apprehended by Batman of all people for trying to steal more Renu.
You've seen the pictures... and it's no surprise he's fired after that.
His face is a mess... not the usual features you remember from your fellow actor.
It's a pity... you feel horrible for what he's gone through...
But then he disappears after losing his job.
You worry for him... as vain as he can be you still care.
You check his apartment a few times... he never answers.
When your schedule picks up more for movie offers... you're forced to focus on your job.
Unaware of the fact Basil tried to steal more Renu... only to become a shape-shifting monster.
I feel like after all of that... Basil, now Clayface, would find ways to stalk you.
If you think about it... Clayface would be great at that.
He can change his appearance to damn near anything... from what I've seen in some iterations of Clayface.
Usually it's people, he primarily uses his powers to look like people.
But there's been some cases I've seen where he uses it to become an animal too.
I feel like Clayface is a hard yandere to escape due to this ability.
He could quite literally be anything.
You continue on with your life... unaware of Clayface tricking you.
He may be a monster now... but his feelings towards you haven't changed.
You're still an attractive star... one he still covets.
He just knows... like this you'll be scared of him.
But... He'll still have you eventually.
No one's going to take you from him... even now.
I feel like Clayface would play the long game.
He'd interact with you in disguises, or just use them to hide himself in the crowd.
Like most yanderes... Clayface would kill.
He'd keep an eye on who's around you... and if you happen to find someone else to give your heart to...
He'll smash them... absorb them until they suffocate... make them pay for getting to you first.
How would anyone know who did it?
He can be anyone... anywhere.
He'd be the master of disguise around you.
Eventually he'll win you over, right?
Imagine if he manages to concentrate enough... He can become his old self.
He tries to meet with you in that form... and while you look pleased, maybe also confused, to see him...
You don't love him as much as he wants you to.
So... He does research... He tries to determine who your type is....
Then he copies it, he tries to see if he can make your preferred partner to interact with you.
He can play the part... He was an amazing actor.
He'll find the perfect role... try to win over your heart... try to hide what he is....
But imagine if you find out?
Maybe you walk in on something you shouldn't have.
Maybe you see your dream man melt when he thinks you aren't looking...
That or maybe you get wrapped up in him trying to kill someone you're close to.
Perhaps Batman could be involved as maybe Clayface was involved in a bank heist/murder.
Either way... eventually you'll learn the truth.
You learn your old co-star became a monster... and has been trying to date you by shifting his form.
He panics a bit... realizing you've seen everything.
He sees the fear, he knows he lost your trust...
But he still doesn't let you go.
His ego... it won't let him.
He can't let you get away.
Imagine Clayface swapping and just... kidnapping you.
He knows he's a monster... but he can be anything you want him to be.
You just need to look past the monster.
He clings to you, his clay-like body sticking you to him as he slowly tries to drag you off.
You struggle, screaming, calling him all sorts of names.
None of it is loving.
It hurts him... and his ego.
Clayface would probably drag his obsession into the sewers or an abandoned building.
He doesn't care if you're scared...
He's just happy he has you.
You may hate him... but he can work with that.
You were both actors, right...?
He doesn't care if you have to fake it... if this is just playing another role to you...
As long as you love him, even if it's just an act... it'll be enough for him to know you're his.

Sure! I wasn't sure if you meant darling is specifically Natasha from another timeline... or just went through the Red Room. I just chose Red Room as the other one feels like canon x canon. Swapped this to Romantic pairings as it causes more tension than platonic/general... I feel like they'd just share if one/both of them were platonic. Admittedly this is mostly Bucky oriented.

You're a survivor of the Red Room, a Black Widow even if you're not the one many know.
You had escaped the Red Room after breaking through your brainwashing.
That or you broke through your brainwashing after the Timeline Entanglement.
Perhaps even with a little help.
You most likely met Clint first, who was on his way to help Bucky escape from Hydra.
At first you were hostile, yet your fighting style felt familiar. (Assuming he knew a Natasha from the program...?)
"Hey, you okay—"
"Stay back!" You demand, rifle held up as you glare.
Clint takes the hint, pulling back with his hands up.
"Hey! Not your enemy, promise... I'm Clint, Hawkeye, who are you...?"
You hesitate, slumping a bit.
"... I don’t know...."
"It's alright... I can help—"
Unfortunately... Clint's presence makes you lash out like a cornered animal.
Eventually after a fight, Clint tries to befriend you.
He could use all the help he could get, y'know?
Wanna help him break a fellow assassin out of experiments?
With no other choice and a need to find yourself... You accept.
You can tell something isn't... right in the world... or the universe for that matter.
Clint's encouraging, especially when he realizes just what you are.
You're an assassin from the Red Room Natasha's mentioned to him.
You fight the same, you keep a stoic face... yet you're clearly very confused.
You act like a scared animal, jumping for your rifle at the slightest sound due to recently finding a clear head.
It makes Clint feel... bad.
You need some supervision... but you can be great help in the field.
He and Natasha are good friends (at least according to MCU), maybe you two can get along too?
Clint's mindful of you as you both sneak deeper into the Hydra base.
Both of you are accustomed to stealth... you may find your surroundings foreign... but you adapt.
You... were taught to adapt.
When you both come across Bucky's containment vat Clint can see you look at the vat confused.
"You alright? This is the guy I was talking about... hopefully we can introduce each other formally once he's out of here."
You glance at Clint, a gentle smile is on his face.
"... is his arm supposed to be—"
"Huh? Oh, that's a long story... touchy subject... not my place to tell—"
"The tentacles?"
There's a long pause after that... Clint stops his staring to look at where Bucky's cybernetic arm should be...
Yup... tentacles....
"... the hell did they do to you, Bucky...?" Clint's voice whispers, watching you try to figure out the panel to Bucky's containment vat.
Then there's heavy footsteps... and your "casual chatter" is put on hold.
It isn't long before you're helping Clint fight the new Hydra super soldier type that ambushes you both as you both try to free Bucky from his containment.
You do eventually meet Bucky when he helps you guys out after escaping... the soldier being eliminated.
"Bucky! Told you I wouldn't leave you behind."
"Yeah... took you long enough... and you brought company...?"
Bucky's eyes glance at you, noting your attire.
He's never seen you before... Yet...
You're familiar... the way you fight... the way you use a rifle...
But you're obviously not who he's thinking of.
"... you're not Natasha." Bucky comments, you don't really recognize the name.
"Who...?" You murmur, feeling your head ache.
"Mutual friend. You'd like her. Probably." Clint chuckles.
Yet this is no place for friendly banter.
You and Clint help Bucky go deeper into the base just like in his lore... only to be cornered between Hydra and an eldritch beast.
You help fight... but relief doesn't come until Steve Rogers comes to collect you all from the portal deep in the base.
You however... weren't a factor they knew of....
The Timeline Entanglement makes strange occurrences happen all the time.
It's noted by Shuri and the others that you're exhausted, confused, and overwhelmed.
Until you understand your surroundings... you are offered to rest in this futuristic version of Wakanda.
You don't really make the decision... it's made for you once you collapse, head throbbing.
This is where you begin to bond with the new allies at your side.
... for better or for worse, considering the nature of this story, it may be worse...
You and Bucky both have dealt with brainwashing, being a living weapon, repressing emotions, never treated like a person...
It would make sense if Bucky became a yandere for someone part of the same Black Widow Program.
Bucky would feel kinship with you... two weapons struggling to figure out who exactly you are.
This might make Bucky feel protective... or at the very least comfortable around you when discussing pasts.

Yet that seems to fall apart over time.
You turn to others like Natasha (Black Widow) or Logan (Wolverine) for guidance at times as they are similar to you...
Bucky is the closest one as he's one of the first people who helped guide you towards a new life in such an unfamiliar place.
Clint would become obsessed too.
Clint's more obsessed with your safety and being the one you can turn to.
Bucky... it's complicated since he can be hard to read...
But Bucky definitely gets fixated on the connections you both have.
Perhaps he feels Clint can't relate to you as much as he can?
Meanwhile Clint feels Bucky isn't the kind of support you need right now or something.
Bucky notices you isolating yourself and try to figure yourself out in this new world.
You still feel like a weapon... and that makes him approach.
"Hey, how are you holding up? Can't help but notice you're quiet over here... Need to talk?"
You hesitate... but you do eventually speak with him.

But the two try anyway.
Clint wants to take you away from combat... Bucky wants to bond with you through it since it's all you know.
It causes tension between your companions... and eventually it starts affecting battles.
Which... leads to a devastating loss.

Imagine Clint finally having enough of Bucky's presence around you.
Clint loves how you look when he flirts with you... how you try to smile and play it off.
He loves it when you smile... when you're not playing weapon.
Then he sees Bucky with you... shadowing you.
Clint has a sharp eye... it helps him keep track of targets... and you.
Clint hates seeing Bucky drag you away.
He feels the soldier is taking you away from him.
This... makes Clint go a bit insane.
During a battle... maybe Clint loses it.
He was meant to help Bucky...
Unfortunately... Clint sees an opportunity in combat.
While you are away... Clint takes high ground while Bucky goes up front.
Well... Clint decides there's only one way to make sure you're his.
All it takes is one well-shot arrow... maybe an explosive one to destroy a wall or move a boulder in a battle...

Not only that but she's probably been killing to get oil due to the fact she's infected by the Absolute Solver.
Doll is a rather quiet character and I think she'd be very lowkey when it comes to obsessing over you.
She's the quiet one in class... always lurking like a shadow.
So I do think before her parents even died she'd be keeping an eye on you.
Normally she's with Lizzie all the time... but the crimson eyed drone still watches you.
Lizzie probably talks about how attractive some other drones are, expecting Doll to nod along.
Doll nods, sure, but doesn't fully mean it.
She's too busy tracking you, her cooking fans picking up a bit as she watches you...

She ignores their pleas... they had the audacity to get close to you.
They will go.
You will be sad... she understands.
But Doll will try to support you.
Lizzie questions her, saying it's stupid to get close to you.

Doll doesn't pay her mind... her red optics just stay focused on you.
You are scared... it is her doing... yet she will keep it quiet.
Doll has to hide a lot from you.
Like... her entire apartment.
Her apartment is covered in bugs and oil... broken mirrors due to her affliction... straight out of a horror movie.
Doll feels she has to do this.
She has to kill... for revenge... for you... and to soothe her feverish systems.
She's a mess... an infected mess... but she still loves her obsession deeply.
So... she keeps her true nature private.
She acts as your supportive yet quiet friend, even if Lizzie complains about it.
Lizzie may even comment on Doll having a crush, making Doll so flustered she nearly reveals her Solver symbol.
Going back to the ask... I do feel like Doll would be conflicted.
She is still focused on killing V.
It wouldn't just be out of revenge at this point though.
No... once V is lured to prom... Doll fears V will take you from her.
After all... V killed Doll's parents.
What's stopping V from targeting you and drinking your oil?
The idea makes Doll ill.
So... Doll knows she needs V dead.
She does fear that if she goes through with her plan at prom that you won't love her genuinely.
That's another conflicting thought... the idea that you won't love her like she does you....
... but she'd probably get a better idea after that.
Love... it can come later.
Doll may just shrug and decide to kidnap you.
Such a thing would solve many of her problems.
She won't need to share you... she can protect you... and you can stay away from prom.
She'd probably ask you to come over to her place... then find a way to temporarily deactivate you.
Essentially... knocking you out.
She could then tie you up in her bedroom to a chair and come back to see you later...
If V doesn't shoot her in the head....
Another way could be Doll simply... telling you not to go to prom.
She warns you of something, maybe she heard rumors of a Murder Drone attack?
That way she can make a cover story for herself when you see all the oil covering the prom room.
Then the last way I think she could react... is simply showing you her true nature.
Why bother hiding what she is anymore?
You should love her... for what she is.
It may be out of fear... but at least you'll be hers!
Safe... and hers.
So Doll may just have you witness the prom massacre, going manic while she kills other drones to get to V.
You're horrified... Doll always seemed so caring towards you...
But now she acts as feral as a Murder Drone.
She doesn't care if you see her tossing other drones... stabbing them... licking their oil to heal... all of it....
She's a monster... one afflicted by cursed genetics... yet she loves you.
If her plan to eradicate V doesn't work... she abandons it and instead steals you away.

The one who killed all those other drones just to keep you for herself....
Despite all her violence... despite the oil covering her synthetic skin...

She finds somewhere to lock you away, maybe your own cleaner apartment... somewhere they won't look for her... and she locks you both away using her powers.
Doll at a certain point isn't going to care what you think.
If she is to love you... she can't hide the fact she's a murderer.
You may be scared... but she reassures you she's protecting you.
She... can't lose anyone else she cares about...
Especially not to V.
So... she'll keep you with her... one way or another...
She'll lock the doors... hold you close... and get rid of anyone else who plans to take you...
Can I please request a yandere kaido with prompts 28, 6, 8 from an-ambivalent, where the reader has completely given up on escaping instead they're trying to kill him whether it be by trying to poison him, trying to stab him in his sleep, or tossing a toaster in the bath when he's in there.
It has just occurred to me I never asked what fandom this was... but it's been a year and it's been in the One Piece section so... if there's another Kaido I don't know about and I got this wrong I'M SORRY!

Synopsis: Kaido views death as the ultimate achievement... yet no one has ever been strong enough to take him down. You had met the beast king first during Punk Hazard. After that you originally joined the Beast Pirates when you had nowhere else to go.... One day you no longer wanted to be part of the crew and tried to flee. Kaido caught you that day and you tried to challenge him to leave. However, when you inevitably lost, Kaido did not kill you. Instead he made you his spouse, impressed by your tenacity. You had originally spent years trying to escape from Kaido... but when that proved fruitless you changed tactics. If Kaido wants to die so bad... you'll help him. Your husband is greatly amused that you still have such a fire within you. So... he gives you an ultimatum... if you can beat him in combat... he'll let you go. An impossible feat... an illusion of chance.

"You have no idea how much I have been holding myself back for you."
"You can run away but I will always find you."
"You’ve gotten good at this, so it’s time to try something new."
"You're either incredibly brave... or incredibly stupid."
Those were the words Kaido told you when you tried to leave him. Originally you appreciated him when he saved you years ago. You had met him in Punk Hazard... another test subject of Vegapunk's...
He offered to take you with him if you joined his crew.
You took the offer as you had nowhere else to go. You had become the crew's doctor and had your own strength. You ended up becoming close to Kaido... your captain... your savior...
But your loyalty was shaken when the Beast Pirates developed and started taking over Wano.
You were close to Kaido... but unlike King... and later Queen. Some even felt Kaido was fond of you. Before Queen came along it was assumed you were as trusted as King was.
Until you defected.
You tried to flee around the time Kaido executed Oden. This place... this crew... it's no longer home. You only saw monsters, not a place of safety...
Kaido quickly found out.
"Pick up your weapon and fight."
That was the deal. If you could defeat Kaido in combat... you had a chance to leave the crew. You were ambitious back then... determined to leave for your own beliefs...
Yet within minutes he had you on the floor, his large club smashed near your head.
That's when you heard the line... the question of if you are truly brave... or simply stupid to fight him.
It stings your pride... but you simply lay on the ground as Kaido stands over you. He wasn't as big as he is in the modern day... yet he still towers over you. He's observing you, looking you over as though trying to figure out what punishment befits your crime.
His next words make your heart nearly stop.
"Maybe I should marry you for that spirit... bind you to me for even daring to leave me after so long. Maybe then you will show loyalty." It's a taunt... yet also a proposal. He's grinning down at you, knowing you have no other alternative.
He wasn't going to kill you... no... but he was going to make your life hell.
Your next few years beside that man are tense. You feel like you're walking a tightrope beside your own leader... and now husband. Even King and Queen look at you as though you'll dart at any moment.
Which isn't entirely wrong... you did try.
To most, trying to run from Kaido was a death wish. Between you and the husband you were unfortunately gifted... It's like a game. Kaido is often bored when not fighting or drinking sake... you give him entertainment. Chasing you is amusing for the dragon oni.
You have a fire he covets... be it to fan or smother it is up to him.
You're never that successful in your escape attempts. One way or another you'll have a blue dragon hunting you down before dragging you back home. You're determined... a trait he admires...
But breaking you is so much more fun.
"You have no idea how much I have been holding myself back for you." He growls to you one night, a predatory gaze gleaming within his gaze for a moment. "It's funny... I could crush you, smear your blood into the gravel... but I don't. You know why?"
His voice is a threat... it's voiced like a question but it's more like a musing. Like he's amused when he sees you tense as he threatens you. His words flash back in your mind... are you brave or stupid...?
"... why?" You ask while sitting on the bed, only for Kaido to lean back on it to pull you against him.
"It's fun." He hums, the answer deceptively simple. "Chasing you, making you think you have hope, it's fun. Without you I would be terribly bored, my dear...."
He crushes you against his side, as though showcasing his strength.
"You make things less boring, it's why I keep you. It's why I want you. You have nerve... Everyone else? They cower. You on the other hand... persist. You amuse me." He then cups your cheek, "You are also quite... attractive."
You ignore him, which makes your husband laugh a bit.
"Fine, ignore me if you want, stubborn spouse. Yet just know one thing..." Kaido's voice then goes eerily deep... a threat in his tone...
"You can run away... but I will always find you."
It's then you feel him kiss you, affection you've learned to simply comply with. It's better to save your strength... to try and run again...
Soon running doesn't cut it though.
It's been years. You've been trying to leave Wano for years. Every time you're back where you started... back in the dragon's arms... back in the dragon's den.
You're forced to play an obedient spouse. You kiss him, let him hold you, and submit when he orders. All while Kaido continues to rule, continues to find challengers, and continues to look for that perfect challenge.
Eventually you learn that running... won't help you. So you turn to something that got you in this position. Something that used to help you as a Beast Pirate...
Fighting.
Your husband always talks about the ultimate achievement one can make. To die at another's hands is something he speaks of with those he's close with. No one's managed to do it...
You certainly try.
You try poison, trying to smuggle enough of it to kill a giant. Nothing. You try finding ways to cut his scales. Nothing. You genuinely do attempt electrocution... It tickles him.
Kaido isn't stupid. He can see your desperation. You want freedom. You want him dead. Honestly, he's impressed that you're trying.
To die by your hands... a romantic death... but impossible.
You try and try... again and again... you're met with little progress. You train, you try again. Kaido plays along... only because it's your form of bonding at this point.
Just to test your fire even more... Kaido decides to test you.
A pang of fear echoes through you when Kaido confronts you one day... Now much taller than he was in the past.
"You’ve gotten good at this, so it’s time to try something new."
A sword is tossed at your feet. You look down at it with confusion before glancing back up at the husband you never asked for. A cold look is on his face... one that makes you shiver.
"Remember back then? When you ran and challenged me?" Kaido brings up, tone cold to see you hesitate despite the determination in your eyes. "My offer still stands."
He picks up his club... watching carefully as you pick up your sword.
"If you can kill me... I'll let you go."
Your blood nearly runs cold. Not beat him in combat... something you couldn't do already... but kill him. Kaido watches your reaction like a hawk, the way your hands tremble when holding your sword. Your reaction makes him grin.
"Ah... so you've finally realized. Maybe I really have tamed you." Kaido laughs, watching you realize how pointless your struggle really is.
You could fight him... you could try. It would only lead to the same outcome. You'd be dropped to the ground, pinned, and dragged back with Kaido as your husband. Your fate is already written...
You still try to swing the sword.
Within not even a minute... it's just like it was all those years ago. He's only gotten stronger... while you have gotten weaker. You're once again on the ground, disarmed of your sword as Kaido grins. He's made his point...
"Aww... don't look so sad, my love... maybe next time you'll succeed." Kaido taunts, leaning closer.
"Until then though... you're all mine... so maybe get used to it."
After that, Kaido leaves, letting you lay on the ground to stare at the sky.
You can't tell if you want to scream or cry... you never had freedom, did you? No, ever since Kaido found you, he didn't give you freedom. He's simply the one who has claimed you for himself.
You just made it worse by fighting him that day... by getting yourself bound to him... so maybe you aren't brave... maybe...
Maybe he's right to call you stupid for chasing such an impossible goal... maybe it's best to just... play along?

Synopsis: You've been locked in a psychopath's trailer for days now. He's under the impression you're meant to be together, two lovers in a cramped trailer park. In reality... He just kidnapped you from your home. For a while you played along... too scared to leave.... Yet now that you've gained your courage you try to slip out while he's asleep. Unfortunately, as you try your hands at the window... your delusional captor wakes.

It's late at night... maybe past 12 AM? Not like the guy here has a proper clock....
You're in the bed wide awake, unable to get to sleep. The sounds of Paradise echo outside the trailer... which is usually screaming or loud cars at ungodly hours of the night. You know you could probably ignore the sounds if you tried hard enough to sleep...
Yet sleep eludes you when you're next to the most dangerous man in Paradise.
He's... loud. Extremely so. You wonder how he even sleeps with how loud he snores. Not only that but he smells... his clothes are stained... it makes you grimace. The man beside you in bed is a heavy warm weight against you, an arm tight around your waist as he nuzzles into your neck.
It would probably be cute to most...
But you don't know much about this man.
He isn't a lover, isn't a spouse, not in your eyes. To you, he's a stranger you don't even know the name of. He's a man you saw in passing... someone you thought you could easily forget...
Until he kidnapped you.
It was a late night, just like this, in your own home. You had gotten ready for bed... unaware of a figure in a trenchcoat slipping through your window. After that he had taken you off guard, a man who memorized your address...
Then you ended up in this dirty trailer.
You've been here... days. He keeps the door locked and never lets you leave his sight for long. He tells you that he's in love with you, that you're better than his previous partners.
You just think he's delusional.
Despite your hatred towards the man clinging to you in bed... you haven't dared to move out of line. You've heard of him... a menace within Paradise. He owns many firearms... doesn't care about bloodshed... in fact he may even enjoy what he does.
This is the biggest threat within Paradise... and you're sharing a bed with him.
Nights like this... they feel like your only chance at escape. It's when your warden is finally asleep and all you hear is the broken hum of maybe the fridge. You feel the man stir against you, his arm slipping slightly.
You take the opportunity.
You gently remove his arm from your body. The dude grumbles for a moment before rolling over and you carefully stand. You're quiet, holding your breath as you try to make your way through the cluttered trailer.
You gently open the bedroom door and walk past the bathroom door. You look around like a cautious animal in a foreign place. You've been here for days... but you still mostly hid away in the bedroom.
There's a small kitchenette despite the fact you doubt this guy cooks... a couch with a small barely working TV... a dining table by the windows near the front of the trailer.... Your eyes catch the door despite the darkness in your prison. You're quiet, like a mouse, as you try the handle.
Locked. Of course. Just like usual.
You bite back a disgruntled noise at this fact and look around the place more. Eventually your eyes lock onto the windows by the table. You see the moon in the sky... a sign of freedom in your eyes... which beckons you to walk closer.
You cautiously press your hand against the cold glass. You look behind you nervously and see no one there. As far as you know... your captor is still asleep....
You begin to push on the window. Nothing. You shove it a little more, it creaks. You try to pull up... to slide the window to the side.... You look like a fly with how much you keep pressing against the window in hopes it will open.
With a shaky sigh you pull again and again... and then you see a small crack. You perk once you feel the cool summer air on your face... and begin to pull more. You try to be sneaky and cautious, pulling more and more as you try to debate on if you can actually get through the window...
Freedom is so close...
Then you hear heavy footsteps behind you.
"Step away from the window. Come back to sleep. Don't make me have to come get you." A deep voice commands behind you. You could tell he wasn't asking... that was two commands and a warning.
You briefly glance behind you to see your captor looking disheveled behind you. His glasses are still on his face and you can't tell if he looks unimpressed or amused.... You could care less though.
You just quickly work on trying to open the window more... just enough to climb on the table and try to slide out...
Then the dude grapples you, holding you against his chest as he pulls you away.
You react immediately. Despite your shared fatigue, you fight like an animal. You squirm, kicking your legs as you try to deck him in the face. The dude is quick to notice, trying to block your hands as he holds you close. For a moment you swear he's grinning... wait...
He is.
"Now, now darling..." His voice purrs that nauseating nickname, like a predator who finally caught prey... or like he's won a game between you, "It isn't nice to hit your future spouse...."
That phrase makes you pause for a brief moment....
Spouse...?
Your breathing goes ragged as it sinks in. He's as batshit insane as you thought...! He took you in... just to play house. He doesn't care what you think... you're meant to add fuel to his delusions...
You fight more.
You do everything you can to try and claw your way to freedom. Clawing, kicking, screaming, biting, anything. You aim to draw blood... to throw yourself out that window and run...
The dude just locks his arm around your neck... and your exhaustion is starting to catch up with you.
You haven't slept without anxiety in days. You're tiring yourself out by trying to fight against the deceptively strong man holding you. The second he began to cut off your breathing... your fight begins to slow...
It feels like you didn't plan this through properly....
"Huh..." You hear your captor murmur, looking down at your squirming form, "I really thought you'd put up more of a fight... told you we should go back to bed."
You want to scream at him... to try and snap the maniac out of his delusional state of mind. Unfortunately... you know it wouldn't be effective. He'd just brush you off... tell you that you're crazy....
Spouse... that's what he wants... and he plans to make you see his way of things...
Even if it means being more assertive.
"Let's get you back to bed, baby... you're not thinking straight." He hums to you, tugging you back to the trailer's bedroom. You try to pull back... but then he just scoops you into his arms.
"You'll feel better with some sleep... maybe be in a better mood too." The dude jokes, tucking you against him before pulling you on the bed. He talks to you as though he's soothing a stressed spouse. As though you're just having an anxiety attack or something....
This is a man who has kidnapped you. A man who thinks you two are dating and soon to be married. This is a man who saw you and already had life planned out for the two of you...
Meanwhile you had no clue of his plans... you could never predict his intentions... now you're meant to play house to a psychopath... all while he cuddles up to you like you're a heated blanket...
You wonder if you'll ever see life outside of this trailer again....

Oh yeah, I've been playing Animal Hospital constantly with friends even though 'Warden' has been on my mind lately.
I confess I have wanted to do Barney HCs, just haven't gotten around to it.
I'm not writing for Dandy's World rn. I have some ideas for it that I am working on and after that I'll have to see how I feel due to how the game is right now.
