Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Reader, OOC Iron Fist, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Somewhat lucid yandere but still delusional, Isolation, Blood, Violence, Implied murder, Kidnapping, Dubious/Forced relationship.
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Upon reading Lin Lie's personality in his wiki... He is depicted as compassionate, protective, and occasionally reckless due to his arrogance due to all the responsibilities he has.
I feel like how he'd show his affection is similar to what he shows his ATLAS teammates... protective and willing to throw himself into harm's way to make sure you come out of battles okay.
I'd say Lin Lie is... mild when it comes to intensity. He may obsess over protecting you and impressing you... but he is still a hero with strong morals. This makes yandere behavior more difficult to write... yet it can also make it more tense as Lin Lie will probably be warring with his wants and duties as a protector.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Lin Lie, due to his morals, would normally settle for non-lethal combat. However, since this is a yandere story... maybe he'll spill some blood due to snapping? Due to his reckless nature I think Lin Lie might occasionally make rash decisions? (I could be wrong... didn't read his comics.)
So maybe he snaps and hurts someone really bad... but I'm not sure if he'd have the heart or morals to kill unless there was no other way out.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
I definitely think Lin Lie wouldn't mock his obsession. Due to his nature as a protector... He'd be very respectful of you. The only reason he'd take you in is because he feels it would be safest for you... like many protective yanderes. He'd probably act like an overprotective boyfriend, hovering around you and seeming rather anxious when not... well... guarding you? He'd be attentive after he has you in his care... right up until he's called away for something.
In terms of where he'd keep you... Maybe K'un-Lun? That might be a bit of a stretch... but to him that would be the safest place to keep you if he ever snapped. He'll just... excuse it as temporary housing due to the Timeline Entanglement.
It works for the most part... until the whole Doom situation in Season 4.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
I doubt it. He'd go overboard on the protective behavior... but would still be lucid enough to not really corner you into anything. Well... in theory. IF it was for your protection... then probably.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
I feel like Lin Lie is very loyal towards his obsession. I think he'd try to be as transparent with you as he can. Just vulnerable enough to show you he's still human... but also guarded enough to prepare himself to protect you.
Be that from an actual threat... or his own jealousy.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Disappointed and maybe a little confused. In his delusions he thinks what he's doing is helping you. He wants to keep you away from the Timeline Entanglement. As your boyfriend... or future boyfriend... He's doing you a favor... right?
He claims he's protecting you... but deep down that's probably untrue. He's probably subconsciously worried someone will take you from him... so he should treat you like a sacred treasure. Locked away with him guarding you.
It's understandable you'd fight him... He keeps trying to talk with you, to not hurt you, but you won't listen. You don't think he's helping you...
He'll just have to convince you this is correct somehow... right?
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
This isn't a game to him... as the one he loves; he treats protecting you as one of his many duties. He wouldn't really enjoy you trying to escape him.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Like with other protective yanderes... snapping. Lin Lie would be intimidating if he snapped. I'm thinking someone gets too close to you or actually hurts you would set him off.
Him snapping would be like a blind fury... him just activating his chi all of a sudden and... letting it loose.
I believe in his comics it said that he struggles to control Shou-Lao's chi due to him lacking balance. So I'm thinking his lack of balance is caused by his obsession... which leads to his rage...
Which eventually leads to him beating someone into the floor... their blood soaking the floor.
It's a shock to him... and most likely you too. He stammers, trying to find reason for why his fists are bloody. He... lost control. That's so unlike him... yet they... they were going to hurt you and....
He... falls more into the 'protecting you' belief and tells you such. He was just protecting you... maybe it's best you both go find somewhere to clear your heads?
He... doesn't look back at the person. He keeps you tucked against him and focuses your attention on him. His hands... they're still bloody...
Yet he refuses to acknowledge it... all that matters is you... he'll just need to fix his chi with some meditation... Hopefully.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
I'd imagine something simple. I feel like he'd be soothed as long as you are by his side and easing his burden. He wants to protect and provide... you're both young so he probably doesn't even think of marriage yet. Just... something simple... with you.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
Yes, I do think he gets jealous. He'll no doubt try to suppress such thoughts... but it causes him to lash out at others because suppressing such thoughts disrupts his inner balance.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Protective, loyal, obsessive, clingy, delusional yet occasionally lucid. He views himself as someone meant to be your protector... and works hard trying to prove that to you.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
I feel like he met you through the Timeline Entanglement, fought alongside you, and realized he was crushing hard. He treats you as though you were part of ATLAS, often looking after you in battle.
During downtime he seeks you out, wanting to listen to you talk about yourself. He listens to every word eagerly. You're... soothing to speak with when he isn't trying to prevent gods from being awakened or protecting a heavenly city.
I think the more you two go on life or death battles... the more he gets attached. You always seem to have his back... and he wants to have yours. It just seems... he fixated on that too much.
He occasionally flusters around you before hiding it. He needs to keep composed... but you go from soothing to distracting as time goes on. It may just be him being inexperienced... but he can't help but think of you two being together as a couple.
This fantasy of being your protector clearly gets out of hand though... as his chi is now on the fritz and he's lashing out more... along with the fact he would take you to K'un-Lun to isolate you for "protection" even if that's wrong. To him, that's the morally right thing to do... it keeps you safe... even if you hate it.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
I do feel like he'd hide his behavior from people. Those close to him no doubt notice his odd behavior and he doesn't want to get them involved with you. This leads to him lying and hiding more... which disrupts his inner balance even more....
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
I don't think he'd punish his obsession. There would be arguments, sure, but actual punishment... I think you're safe from that. Still isolated though.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Hopefully not many, he doesn't want to treat you like he's a warden.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
I feel like he tries to be patient. Yet when his obsession/crush is just starting he may look antsy. He's meant to keep his cool, he knows... but you look amazing...!
Over time he does get more patient, especially when he assigns himself the role of your protector during this whole mess. You find him to be a great teammate... but the delusions seem to only get worse.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
With all the stress he's under already... it might crumble his resolve and make him feel then need to reflect. He'd definitely be affected and try his hardest to bottle it up. Luna (Luna Snow) and Ami (White Fox) would notice though. They're all ATLAS members so I think they'd realize Lin Lie isn't himself. They might try to comfort him... although they'd be mindful of how his obsession was with you. It was clearly unhealthy... but trying to tell him that he drove you away wouldn't end well.
For more angst, maybe he's in denial that you're gone. You can't be... He tried so hard to keep you safe, to keep you his.
How could he still lose you...?
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Yes... and he probably will once he feels it's "safe" to. Just... don't expect him to leave your life. He sees you two as together... he just will try not to be as smothering... maybe.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
Due to childhood and all the stress he feels he's under as a protector would make sense for why he wouldn't act rationally maybe?
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Lin Lie would want to comfort you. He wants to hold you close and treat you like you're something precious. However, if you really want a break from him, he'll probably take you to one of the calmest parts of K'un-Lun for you to relax while he goes off to tend to other duties. He'll come back later, hopefully you won't mind his presence next time.
He understands you want your freedom... but until the timeline is resolved? He can't rest with you so far from him....
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
He's not usually a lethal yandere... more just smothering and overprotective. His good morals make pursuing you as a yandere create conflict within him... something he tries to suppress.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
I mean... He's probably lucid enough to be talked to. If you can reason with him... then you can probably at least make him more tame. Like most protective yanderes... reassuring them will make it easier to work around/with them.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Never intentionally. He'd be a poor protector if he hurt you. That doesn't mean he won't accidentally hurt you mentally however... He'd never put his hands on you.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Lin Lie is not really a worship yandere. He's confident and protective... but not quite to the point of worship. He would do just about anything to win you over though... if something impresses you or keeps you safe, he'll do it.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
Lin Lie knows he's meant to have patience... but when it comes to you I do think he'd be giddy around a crush? He plays himself off as composed... as the Iron Fist should be...
But he'll probably think about confessing within a couple months... or weeks with how often you're both fighting to save the Multiverse....
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
He'd never do it intentionally. In fact he'd probably feel like he failed you if he fully broke you in.

Despite Anna being a fierce and horrifying hunter... I can see her being clingy with her obsession.
It's shown in her backstory, albeit in a twisted way, that she wants a family.
She mostly hunts those in her territory... yet she never hunted you to kill.
She saw you... and for one reason or another... considered you family.
Which is exactly what led you to your... situation.
You were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The locals whisper about a cryptid in the woods... about how those who enter disappear.
But that's just stories, right?
Turns out... It's not just stories.
You end up being ambushed in the woods, an agile figure bashing the back of your head in with what feels like the back of a hatchet...
You then wake up in a cabin... the scent of blood in your nose.
It takes some time for your vision to focus when you wake up, your head is pulsing.
There's a rope around you... one that ties you to the wall.
Your breath hitches once you catch sight of what's inside the cabin.
Blood coats the wood in various... rot wafts through the room as skulls litter the ground.
You see bloody toys... you see carved animal masks and hatchets...you see...
A woman....
A woman standing over you to be exact.
She... doesn't speak.
Instead... she hums.
She watches you, slowly crawling on her knees to sit in front of you.
She's huge... 6'5 and still tall over you while sitting on her knees.
She hums as she checks the ropes around you... it sounds like a soothing lullaby.
Yet you are far from soothed.
You try not to move or flinch when she touches you, the woman tilts her head like an animal.
Anna is feral... like the animals she's taught herself to hunt.
She doesn't speak, she only communicates through grunts and growls.
So even if you tried to speak with her, to plead with her... the woman just tilts her head towards you.
The longer you're tied in this cabin... the more you realize she's more akin to an animal than an actual human.
For now you can tell she isn't hostile around you.
You don't even know her name... you just know she's a strange woman in a winter cabin that often enjoys wearing various animal masks when she's out hunting.
Yet she always picks the less threatening ones to try and soothe you.
For days you play along... unable to move from your spot on the cabin floor.
Anna, in her delusional and feral mind, sees you as her new family.
Even if you're tied up in her home.
I do think she'd be affectionate and clingy with her obsession.
It's cold where she lives, the snow falling thickly outside the cabin.
Usually at night, when Anna is no longer hunting, she comes home.
You're trembling, probably due to fear and the cold.
She notices, unfortunately she notices....
You're then tugged against her, the woman tucking you close.
She sits you on her lap before spooning you, cuddling you close.
She's definitely a big spoon due to her size... assuming you're shorter than her.
Her grip on you is tight as she tries to keep you warm.
She nuzzles close, trapping you against her as you don't dare struggle.
Struggling might set off the apex predator holding you like a teddy bear.
Then... It starts again.
Anna starts humming, stroking your hair or side as she holds you.
Your breath hitches again, like you're trying to hold it.
You're worried sudden movements might get a hatchet through your face....
Anna doesn't try to be a hunter in this situation though.
No... here she tries to be nurturing.
She's picked you to be family... the others didn't work out.
She attempts to hum you to sleep, trying to warm you like she's some sort of large bear.
Any attempt to flee her she quickly corrects, shifting her weight ot pin you more.
Don't you know you'll freeze to death outside?
To her... it's safer here.
In reality... you're probably in danger either way.
It doesn't matter what you do... you either die in the cold... or let the animalistic woman in the woods coddle you.
You slowly accept the fact your fate is sealed... There isn't much that can be done.
You're dead either way... aren't you?
So... despite your fear... you snuggle closer to the woman... your captor.
She really is warm when she holds you...
Maybe... this won't be so bad... maybe it's better than dying of the cold....
Saira, being V.I.L.E's mad scientist, has a lot of technology at her disposal.
So I think obtaining her obsession wouldn't be too hard.
Due to being skilled in technology I think she can do a few things to keep track of her obsession.
I'm talking tracking chips, security cameras, mind control devices....
Saira, no matter her intentions as a yandere, would have high security when it comes to her obsession.
I genuinely do think she'd microchip you like a pet.
She'd probably do it in secret or just tell you it's V.I.L.E agent protocol.
It's good to know where agents are, yeah?
In reality... She just likes to know where you go.
It's not just for missions like she claims...
She just tracks everything you do and files it away for later.
She gets so much information on you.
Saira would definitely track your likes and dislikes... She claims it's to be efficient.
In reality it's to form plans on how to gain your favor.
She really does just come up with elaborate schemes to get you to like her... be that as a mentor or romantic partner.
Many just assume someone as eccentric as her is just invested in her work when she stares at screens all day...
In reality she's cataloging new information she got on you... like what your favorite baked good is or something.
Despite her ambitious behavior and that she tends to throw herself into her work... Saira does care for some people.
She's been fond of students like some other faculty members so I think she could make a good platonic yandere.
She can also work as a romantic yandere if you're an older agent of V.I.L.E.
Either way she's always watching, always tracking, and always noting down info about you.
Just so she can be your favorite faculty member, y'know?
I do feel like she's a yandere who spends most of her time observing you.
There's times she's often stuck in her labs and can't exactly go see you.
So setting up secret cameras to track your every move is her best bet.
I feel like she would be the type to get passive aggressive if someone was interacting with her favorite agent.
She makes comments towards those she doesn't like around you, shrugging her shoulders while muttering about the fact she saw them close to you.
Saira can be manipulative like many people in V.I.L.E.
I think she'd want her obsession's attention on her in a genuine way.
She'd manipulate you by somehow managing to make your interactions perfect...
But holds off anything more forceful until she feels it's necessary.
For example... Brainwashing is something Saira would be capable of.
Yet... she knows such a procedure would ruin a lot of who you are.
Admittedly having you only loyal to her command is nice....
She probably won't do it unless you were trying to escape.
She probably does like to spoil her obsession in her own way.
For example, Saira likes baking.
You'd probably be gifted sweets she made for you.
The food is mostly normal... mostly.
I don't think she'd tamper with any of the baked goods unless, as said before, she feels you're going to leave her and the agency.
She lets you sit in on her experiments, she wants to teach her obsession her passions.
Plus, as someone in V.I.L.E... Learning how the tech works is a needed lesson.
It's definitely not an excuse for her to get closer to you and monopolize your time with her.
She's not subtle about you being her favorite.
I think she'd often take pictures of you and save recorded security camera footage.
She probably has cameras in your room and spends ages staring at feed.
I think when you come up in conversation she gets way too excited.
When others bring you up her head snaps up, glancing at them from behind her goggles.
Be it to judge them or know what you're doing currently... Your name/code name is definitely a trigger for Saira.
Why would anyone else be speaking your name...!?
Saira is a brilliant mind who prefers manipulation to outright violence.
If you're in V.I.L.E willingly... She's mostly just smothering/clingy.
I feel the real yandere behavior would happen if you were ever trying to defect from V.I.L.E.
It's then she pulls out all the stops to keep you.
She'd probably bake you goods like usual... but put a sedative in it.
Once you pass out... she works fast.
She'd probably work on something to... edit your mind.
Not a total mind wipe like agents who fail/defect... but some alterations.
She doesn't want to lose what connection she's cultivated within you.
She removes any urge to escape... makes you extra loyal to V.I.L.E through some brainwashing... and maybe makes you want to spend more time around her.
Poor you is drugged until she's done... when you wake she quickly spins some elaborate story.
A mission went wrong... she had to have you patched up... and since you can be a bit rebellious...
You're being kept in your room with an ankle monitor she made.
Don't worry! As you recover she'll visit you!
Isn't that fun? Maybe in her free time you can watch cats together...
... when her cohorts give her free time.
Oh well! She'll make time for you.
You believe her... it's all you really can do with the amount of weird drugs she put in your system to mess with your head.

Once those doors shut, Saira breathes a sigh of relief.
That was a close call... she nearly lost you.
She... doesn't want to lose you....
If you ever shake off the current treatment... she'll just try again!
Maybe a total memory wipe next time would allow her to keep you properly....

It's assumed due to his manipulative charisma that Ernesto has gotten with a few women.
Him having a relative out there somewhere isn't too out of the ordinary.
Somehow you get stuck in the afterlife and learn that Ernesto is your relative.

Either way... I mostly just want to talk about his behavior towards his obsession.
When it comes to how Ernesto was with Miguel... people who saw the movie are split on Ernesto's intentions.
Some people think Ernesto's behavior towards Miguel was genuine when he learned they were related.
He excitedly showed Miguel off, grinning as he showed his lineage off to his fans.
Others theorize that this was all a ploy to get more popularity.
After all, look! He's also a family man~
Ignore the fact he murdered his best friend for fame because he didn't want to be forgotten or something.
I honestly feel both interpretations are rather in character.
So as a platonic yandere... He would definitely parade you around.
Granted... it's a shock to see you alive here...
But hey, if you're his flesh and blood, he'll make the best of it.
As said before, Ernesto's yandere personality is manipulative at its core.
Originally he would use his living descendant as a way to gain more attention to himself.
Not only do his fans think of him positively...
But he definitely enjoys your attention.
