Hm... I'll see what I can do, sure. No plot ideas makes this harder but... I can probably throw something together. Ended up making this platonic as no pairing was given and platonic felt best for the plot I had in mind.
Sentient AI AU - DOES NOT FOLLOW FNAF CANON
Synopsis (Long): Freddy Fazbear's Pizza... a location for kids in the early 90s. You had went to the location when you were a young child for your birthday several times. Mediocre pizza and loud arcade games had been something nostalgic for you. You recalled as a kid being fascinated by the animatronic animals on stage... especially a certain brown bear. Your memories tell you of times the bear would speak to you in private, where you'd both play games of hide and seek before your parents would call your name. You remember your time at Freddy's fondly... even after the location was abandoned due to unknown reasons. Now, as an adult, you return to the location you once adored playing in as a nightguard to prevent robberies. Turns out the animatronics are still there too. You thought your little games with Freddy was just the delusions of young memories... however, as the night goes on... you learn the truth behind these machines.

The smell of pizza drifts towards your nose and the glow of neon lights catches your attention. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza... a play of family fun that had every kid raving about it. Many parents brought their kids here to play and celebrate.
You often came here to celebrate your own birthday.
You're a young kid with lots of energy to spend. The second your parents let you loose... you quickly ran off once they gave you Faz-Tokens to use at the arcade machines. You played with countless friends your age and allowed yourself to become engrossed in the lights of the arcade...
Yet you of course returned to the table the second pizza and cake was introduced.
Coming to Freddy's was a tradition for you on your birthday. Your parents have been taking you since you were eight. Every year you look forward to this...
Every year you excitedly watched the animatronic animals sing like you were special... they were always so life-like.
The animatronics had been high-tech enough to wander the party rooms by themselves to interact with children. They were meant to monitor children wandering too far from their parents. Which... is something you tend to do often.
Once you were fed with pizza and cake... you had left for the bathroom and to play a little more before presents. Your parents said they needed to get some things from the car anyways. This left you to explore the halls of the pizzeria.
Only to hear a voice rumble behind you.
"Hey there, pal... You look lost? Are you exploring?"
The voice was deep... yet welcoming. You could also pick up a robotic tone within it, which makes you turn around. In front of you stands the Freddy Fazbear himself, blue eyes scanning you over as his ears twitch. He smiles, to most adults it would look uncanny... to you it was friendly.
"Oh! Hey, Freddy!" You chirp excitedly towards the robotic bear. His gaze never leaves you as you bound over to the brown bear.
"Another birthday, huh? Yeesh... I must be getting old... How old are you now?" The bear asks, pulling from his database of saved faces. How could he forget you? Anything for customer satisfaction.
"Eleven!" You answer eagerly, causing the bear to laugh.
"Eleven? Look at you, friend... getting so big. You don't plan on forgetting your friends here at Freddy's, right?" The bear smiles, making you shake your head with a grin.
"Nope! I come here every year! I could never!" You exclaim, bouncing in place due to the sugar in your system. The bear seemingly can sense your increased excitement and hums.
"Right! Every year... Now, ol' Freddy over here has some time before his next show, care to play with me?" The bear offers, tilting his head to get a better look at you. You really have grown... he shouldn't remember you... usually the STAFF wipes his memory bank... but he always remembers you.
"A game? Yes! I want to play!" You answer, already anticipating how the game will go between you... just like every year.
"How about... 'Hide and Seek'? You've always seemed to enjoy that one?" The bear offers, causing you to nod with an anticipated 'mhm!'
"Good choice, friend... Why don't you go hide... and I'll find you?" Freddy offers, causing you to run off in a fit of giggles.
Out of everything on your birthday... playing with Freddy was probably your favorite. Whenever you spoke to your parents about it... they just assumed it was your imagination. After all... Freddy is just a robotic animal.
There's no way a lumbering hunk of metal can play with their child, right?
Yet you never cared what they thought. You just felt thankful that Freddy had time for you on your birthday! As you play with him you can see Chica serving pizza... Bonnie playing his guitar for another table... and Foxy telling some sea tale. You always do your best to stay quiet in your hiding spot, tucking yourself behind an arcade cabinet or under a table.
Freddy however... always managed to find you. The brown bear would crane himself downwards to look at you, glowing blue eyes blinking before locking onto you.
"Found you, friend~!" The bear chuckles... leading to you squealing before running off to hide again.
Unfortunately... all good things must come to an end, right?
Your parents call your name, a heap of presents on the table. You immediately peek out of your hiding spot, Freddy watching you quietly before you turn to look at him. His eyes flicker a bit... but he nods quietly.
"Sorry, Freddy... I have to go! We can play again next time!" You say with a small smile, making the bear chuckle a bit.
"Of course, pal... We will play again next time. But could you promise me something?" The bear whispers, as though mischievously telling a secret.
"Yeah what?" You ask, the bear moving his jaw to smile.
"Don't forget about me, okay? We'll play again next time you come to Freddy's." The bear hums, blue eyes soft and friendly as you nod, reaching to touch his mechanical paw.
"I promise!" You chirp before running off to see your parents.
Freddy on the other hand... continues to quietly watch you return to your family...
"Don't forget...."

Rain drummed against your windshield as you drove down the road. It's dark, your headlight reflecting off the rain as you look for the location you're supposed to head to. Finding a job has been difficult and you were getting desperate with the job market lately...
A night shift as a security guard for an abandoned pizzeria was the best you could find.
As you take your turn and pull into the dark and soaked parking lot, you take a moment to look up at the sign. 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizza'... you remember going there as a kid. A shame it had closed down... the papers said it was because maintaining the animatronics was getting... expensive.
It's... been a long time since you last went here. It had to easily be around or close to a decade since you last saw this place. Now you're in your 20s... and desperate for at least a little money.
With a grimace you exit your car and speed walk your way to the front door. You fumble a bit with the lock on the door, glaring through the wet rain as you look over the key to the padlock the owner gave you. The gig sounded easy enough when you applied....
You just needed to head to the office and watch the cameras. Watch for intruders and make sure no one steals any assets. Standard security job... you felt you could do it.
Who even comes out here nowadays? The place is abandoned... urban exploration maybe?
You feel minor relief as you enter through the front doors and close them with a small 'click' before pulling your flashlight from your pocket. You click the button on it and walk towards the main stage room. You were to find the generator and turn it on... simple enough.
You freeze when you walk by the curtained stage. Peaking through the heavy curtains sits... the animatronics you remember when you were younger. You shine your flashlight over them curiously, looking them over.
They're all very dusty... their fuzzy suits are a mess due to being inactive for so long. Despite that... they're still the same animatronic animals you used to adore. Bonnie, Chica...
You shine the light on the brown bear you adored when you were young. Your thoughts feel conflicted... You remember playing with this robot when you were younger. Yet... that wasn't possible, was it? Your parents always told you they were basic robots....
You jump a little when you see the hydraulics in Freddy jolt... must be a glitch you have to report later... Why didn't the company take these robots with them if they were so important?
Moving on you make your way to the Electrical room, quietly passing Pirate's Cove. You frown a bit... Foxy's out of order... How upsetting. He must've broken down after your parents insisted you stop going here.
They said you were too old....
Upon walking to the very back of the pizzeria... you managed to finally find the generator. Upon turning it on you hear the hum of electricity and lights flicker throughout the place. Most notably... the office you're meant to sit in for six hours lights up with a camera system and...
Are those heavy metal doors?
You... wonder why those are needed... but every building has different security measures you guess. You make your way to the office and immediately sit down in the office chair. Alright then... this all seems easy enough...
Hah, why were you so anxious before...?
There's nothing to worry about...
"It's been too long, pal... Have you finally come to greet your dear friend again?"
You nearly choke when you hear the voice echo through the voice. It's a low deep rumble... one that you probably once found comforting in your childhood. Now... in these dark halls...
It's haunting.
You quickly check your cameras, silently hoping you might just be hallucinating. Yet when you look at the main stage... you're greeted with black eyes staring up at you through the camera. You find yourself jumping back a bit, warily looking through the doors.
"I missed you... You said you'd come back... that you'd never forget your friends here at Freddy's..." The bear continues, voice managing to carry itself through the speakers of the camera system.
"But since you're here now... I've been waiting to play again. Won't you play with me? Just like old times?"
You don't respond, of course you don't... instead you frantically click through cameras. All the animatronics... their eyes are glowing... staring at the cameras blankly. Freddy however... simply smiles at the camera.
"Aw... playing hide and seek already...? You always did enjoy that game.... Fine, we will play that game, pal... don't you remember I always won?"
The lights flicker, as though they're going to go out... but then stabilize. You glance down at the cameras and see the power you have. A chill runs down your spine. If the power goes out you need to find the generator again, right?
"This time... the game will have higher stakes. Survive until morning... and I'll let you go... but if I or one of the others catch you...?"
A deep chuckle echoes through the building.
"You get to stay with me... and I don't plan to lose you again...."
It's then you're forced into a game you never intended to be a part of. This isn't a normal night shift job.... This is you trying to defend yourself against distorted nostalgia from your past.
You very quickly learn what the lights, cameras, and doors are for. This is nothing like the games you used to play in your youth. No... it's not just freddy...
He has help.
You're quickly greeted with Bonnie approaching your left door, glowing red eyes flickering into a dark black as he tilts his head to look at you through the door. You hit the 'door' button and watch it shut... the rabbit looking at you blankly.
Then there's Chica... the chicken twitching at your right door's window as you close the door on her. You're trembling, her pink glowing eyes looking hungry and she croaks at you. You cover your ears... quickly flipping through cameras to keep track of everything.
Foxy's quick... He's so much more withered than you remember too. His age does nothing to slow him down though. The second you hear him thumping down the hall... you slam your hand against the door button. The doors... they help you with survival...
But the clock feels too slow...
The power won't last forever either....
"Aw... you keep shutting us out... don't you know we just want to play. friend?" Freddy coos, now wandering the halls. "We've already found you... but you won't let us in...."
You ignore the voice, instead focusing on your quickly draining power. Freddy makes a disappointed sound when you ignore him... suddenly appearing by your right door. You notice his void black eyes and quickly slam the door shut.
"Aww... so determined to win... so determined to leave your friends." Freddy taunts, his tone... hurt. How strange...?
You then scream when he smashes his fist against the glass by the right door, his eyes staring at you through it. His eyes flicker between blue and black... he looks like a shark ramming into a human within a cage.
"You only ever want to run, do you~? You think you can just... leave?" The bear coos... then another bang resounds against the door in frustration.
"I'll chase you down like an animal if I have to." Freddy growls, his voice no longer welcoming. "You won't be breaking any more promises this time, friend."
The time... it read 4 AM... so close... yet so far...
A loud 'POP' comes from the electrics of the building...
Followed by the loud whirr of the electricity going out in the building.
You freeze... the cameras at your fingertips are now useless. The building... for having four animatronics in it... is eerily silent. You quickly leave your chair and dart into the hall, trying to look around in the dark.
Turning on your flashlight might give you away...
It doesn't seem to matter at this point anyways though.
You make your way to the generator and try flicking at switches. It flickers... but nothing happens. Your heat continues to race as you do your best to figure out the problem...
Yet heavy metal steps slowly approach your location.
"What will it take to get you to love me!?" The bear roars, eyes flickering to their soft blue once more. "We were so close back then... then you abandoned me... just like everyone else did. Someone... took you away from me..."
He steps closer and you immediately back up, flashlight being clicked on to shine on the animatronic bear. His eyes... they seem hurt... but it might just be you. He's... a robot... jut a robot...
Right?
Freddy stares at you, slowly but surely moving to corner you. Bonnie and Chica quickly flank behind him, their glowing eyes tracking you too. You swear you hear Foxy nearby too... but the room is claustrophobic enough....
"Yet you came back... you came back after so long... you must've missed me too, right?" The bear continues, reaching out a mechanical paw.
There's a long pause between you two... yet when you see his eyes flicker again you eagerly nod.
"Y-Yeah...." You manage to croak out, causing Freddy to smile.
It's not friendly to you.
"Good... I knew you wouldn't forget me... you had me worried, friend... to think you'd never come back. Look at you... you're all grown up now, aren't you?" Freddy laughs... perhaps at one point you'd find this comforting...
But now you're too scared to move.
"Now now... no need to look so down... you'll love it here." Freddy chuckles, stepping close to pull you against his fuzzy chest.
"Love it here...?" You ask, fear trembling in your voice as you see Bonnie and Chica inch closer.
"Of course..." Freddy hums... him leaning closer to look you in the eyes and pat your head.
"We have so many games to play...." Freddy grins.
"You won't be leaving me again, pal, I wasn't kidding around~"
I've had this in the back of my mind for a while now, but can I request a platonic Mangle with a technician darling who always fixes her/him up during the day?
Maybe they try and make sure the kids don't break them, and in return, the Mangle protects them from the other animatronics?
I don't know, I just find the idea interesting. Ha ha.

Honestly I adore Mangle. Still one of my favorites other than Springtrap. Especially after watching the FNAF 2 Movie. So I am quite excited to write Mangle more!

Mangle seems like a character who comes off as very irritable and occasionally feral due to the state they're in.
Sometimes they talk, sure... but most of the time all that comes out is a grating static noise.
I believe it's also shown in their 'Special Delivery' voice lines that they have conflicting personalities.
One moment they are sweet and cheerful... Other times they are sadistic and mocking... their voice is a mess of static and pitches.
Then there's the FNAF 2 movie iteration... which iirc is more just feral.
Mangle acts like an animal in that version, much different compared to their fellow Toys... so that's another way to depict them.
Mangle... doesn't have many positive experiences with people.
Kids keep tearing them apart... and other STAFF never bother putting them together anymore.
Their new directive is to allow kids to take them apart... like it's some kind of game....
For a sentient AI... it's the worst experience imaginable.
To watch humans take apart your body... all while you're helpless to stop it...
It sends Mangle into a bit of a... psychosis.
This wasn't their original purpose... was it?
Why is the static so loud...!?
Yet when you're hired... you attempt the impossible.
You try to repair Mangle.
The rest of the STAFF always tell you it's pointless... a cycle they haven't been able to break.
You still try though... you treat fixing Mangle like some kind of pet project.
You start small... like tweaking the radio static so it's at least quieter or outright gone.
Mangle originally feels... unsure when you mess with them.
They don't believe you're trying to fix them... until the static quiets.
They pause, busted vision taking a subtle glance at you as you look around for spare parts in 'Parts & Service'.
You're... actually helping them.
It makes their ears twitch, disguising it as a minor glitch or malfunction.
They wonder if they'll be restored to what they once were.
You spend a lot of time on them... closing down their cove to keep them in the back of the pizzeria so you can work on them.
You tend to work on a lot of the other animatronics... but Mangle takes a lot of your time.
They're a mess.
Yet... you do your best to get them normal.
You fix their hardware, complete with the sleek white shell their original design had.
You give them their yellow eyes, remove the second head, paint their cheeks red and accent their form with pink on the snout, belly, ears, etc....
With some time and effort... they look just like they used to on the posters.
You then work on their software... doing research on their old code and seeing what to repair...
Despite all your efforts though... you never notice the growing obsession the AI begins to develop.
You've given them a body... you've managed to give them their mind back too...
They feel like they once did... All thanks to you.
Despite being responsible for animatronic upkeep... You end up becoming Mangle's handler after this.
Well... you can't really call them Mangle now, right?
You call them Toy Foxy now.
After all, they're still part of the Toy Animatronic line... and they're meant to be this line's Foxy.
Makes sense.
Originally you are someone on the day shift.
You check the animatronics and systems while parties go on.
Toy Foxy often gets... oddly anxious when you aren't around.
Kids make them glitch a bit, ears down even when they try to be cheery.
They're meant to encourage kids to play...
But, despite their coding, they are scared of just how kids play.
Weird, isn't it?
Their AI isn't meant to be this... human.
Toy Foxy probably gets worse when you're moved to night shift.
They're used to you hovering near them to make sure kids behave.
But by the time night shift happens... They still have some repairs they need.
Moving you to the night shift was best for the company.
That way you're allowed to make all the repairs you need to do when everything is off and guests are gone.
It also fixes their missing night guard issue.
So... you resort to fixing systems and animatronics from 12 AM to 6 AM.
Which leads to some experiences you probably wish you didn't have.
First of all... the night shift allows you to see just how sentient Toy Foxy actually is.
You knew the AI in the animatronics was ahead of its time...
Yet sentience never occurred to you.
You learn this when Toy Foxy's gaze catches you here after hours... and they get excited.
You're working on a system in the main office... only to hear heavy footsteps.
You turn, heart racing, only to see glowing yellow eyes staring down at you.
Then... you hear Toy Foxy cheerfully greet you... even if you look so scared.
They thank you for fixing them... but then admit they may need more repairs whenever the day is over.
They hate being alone.
Despite your surprise that the AI Toy Foxy has is this advanced...
They always stay still when you repair them, sheepishly admitting they still are trying to get used to their new body now.
They rarely leave you alone during the night shift too.
Wherever you go, they follow.
As though they're scared you'll leave them too soon.
I feel like Toy Foxy would defend you from the others.
Most likely the Withereds.
In theory you also look after the other Toy Animatronics... which means I can't really see them as hostile.
The Withereds make more sense as their parts were used for the Toy Animatronic line.
Toy Foxy always stays close to you, optics scanning you over to remember your face and track emotions.
Toy Foxy views themselves as your best friend.
They feel protective of you because you're the one person who cared.
Which also leads to them getting defensive about you around the other animatronics....
The other Toys are fine with you, they even want to see you during night shift.
Such an idea just makes Toy Foxy's ears flick back, yellow eyes narrowing as they redirect you away.
Toy Foxy may even get defensive or protective of you when Withered Foxy shows himself.
They're worried you'll get hurt... but that's not the only reason they cling to your side...
They're scared you'll lose interest.
What if... you don't see them as your best friend...?
What if you leave the night shift... then never come back?
That... can't happen, right?
No... the night shift allows Toy Foxy to play with you!
If you leave... the kids will just break them again...
They'll be all alone...
... they can't let any of that happen again.
For most of your night shifts... Toy Foxy is antsy yet happy to see you.
Unfortunately... if Toy Foxy ever learned you're leaving the pizzeria, probably from other STAFF...?
They may just flip.
You're their only true friend... you fixed them when others would not.
So one night shift... they change.
They hunt you... often growling or yelling at the other animatronics if they get in the way.
They know you're scared... but you shouldn't be scared of your best friend...
They just want to keep you forever.
Toy Foxy would probably try to trap you in a room with them, getting frustrated when you keep trying to run.
If you want more angst... maybe Toy Foxy hurts you by accident.
You fear for your life... so maybe you attack them with a chair or some sort of weapon?
The attack makes them instinctively snap back... literally.
Imagine Toy Foxy accidentally maiming you... blood dripping from their jaws as their yellow optics stare down at you.
That or maybe they accidentally kill you?
How unfortunate... their need to not be alone has led to you getting hurt.
Originally they're devastated.
They never meant for this to happen!
Yet... the idea of you being unable to leave here... unable to leave them...
It... brings them comfort.
Your blood may be on the floor, you may be forced to lie still...
But now no one else can have you...
Now they'll never be alone again... perhaps they were more 'damaged' than you originally thought?
Kenjaku is a dangerous yandere to have no matter his intentions.
Platonic, romantic, either way he's pretty bad due to his personality and nature.
I was going to say I don't know which is worse... but romance is probably the worst one.
I say this considering this man and making... children.
He goes after people for a reason.
I feel like his persistence and charisma is what makes him dangerous as a yandere.
He's hard to read, the man has had generations to perfect the art of having a poker face.
That or at the very least... perfect hiding his true self behind a friendly smile.
It's hard to tell why such a man is after you...
But he easily distracts you by acting like it's a chance encounter with his overwhelming charisma.
Kenjaku is a man who is always planning.
If he finds an obsession... He's going to make sure he's always several steps ahead of you to make you his.
When Kenjaku sees someone or something he wants, for one reason or another... He'd do any trick it takes to get what he wants.
He's unpredictable, hard to read, a master manipulator... and that's not all that makes him dangerous...
He's also got Curses under his command due to his newest vessel.
Kenjaku tends to approach things with curiosity... as though everything is something for him to study.
So I feel like if someone caught his eye... He's going to spend a lot of his time studying them.
Those who catch his eye are rather... important to his goals.
If not... then they're great entertainment for him.
Kenjaku would stalk his obsession.
He wants to know everything about you... so he analyzes every little detail.
Even when he speaks to you it's like he's prying info out of you.
Not only that... but his conversations with you are long...
It's like he's trying to get you to stay around longer as he talks your ear off.
Kenjaku is calm and calculating... he never lets many other emotions show except for practiced optimism and playful demeanors.
He never stresses about anything... if his charm isn't working on his obsession?
He has plenty other ways to win you over... if his intimidating aura doesn't do it for him.
He always thinks ahead... Sure, he's mostly thinking of his plans on how to turn this world upside down for his own amusement...
But he'd also be planning ways to get you to join him.
Kenjaku is less likely to go after a completely normal person unless they were connected to something he's curious about....
So maybe if you can sense Curses it will be enough for him to find a way to use you....
Although, maybe messing with a normal person could be fun for him... He always loves good entertainment.
Kenjaku is excellent at playing roles.
He'll try to garner your trust by doing various things.
He talks to you frequently, invites you on outings, plays games with you...
He pretends to be someone your age just so you'll keep your eyes on him.

He inserts himself into your life... he takes care of you and attempts to show you how good life can be by his side...
All so you'll relent and give him control.
He's arrogant, he's always been a cruel man who thinks he's superior.
He knows he's stronger than you...

After all... you'll have no choice but to listen to him, yeah?
If you defy him... it's amusing...
Especially since he's so much stronger than you.

Due to this I can definitely see an obsession starting.
They've both known you for what feels like forever.

Noelle is reliant on the comfort you provide.
Normal Noelle is a soft yandere, especially when platonic.
She's clingy, often following you around and asking to talk.
You feel freeing for her... and Kris seems to feel a similar way.
Kris is canonically protective of Noelle due to their past together.
So I can see them wanting to protect you both as part of your friend group.
If you ever drifted away for one reason or another... Kris would drag you back to your friend group.
These two aren't bad yanderes to have...normally.
They might get a bit manipulative to monopolize the time they have with you... yet it's not violent or anything.

There's too many restrictions... there's no freedom... no chance to grow....
They understand you want to leave this place... but take it as you wanting to leave with them.
Every word they say... it reminds you more and more that your old childhood friends... are gone.
They've been replaced by... something.
Now they're possessive, controlling, delusional...
They won't be letting you go.
They're more suffocating than before, forcing you to listen to their words and commands.
Noelle helps isolate you by driving others away... and Kris's words attempt to act as encouragement for you to give in.
What I'm trying to say is... It's going to be The Lake Scene all over again.
When Noelle tells Kris they need to leave this town?
Yeah... this whole thing would end the same... except now you're dragged into it.
To them... this is the best way to keep the group together... childhood friends that will never leave each other's sides again even if they lost everyone else...
You'll all leave this town... together... across the lake.
Now at this point... it's up to you... maybe the two really do take you across the water to make sure they never lose you and will always love you as their best friend...

This would strip away free will and make anyone he wants his slave.
He rules through fear and demands total submission from those around him.
Power is all that matters to him... and compassion is a flaw.
He took on such a belief because while he once genuinely found love in a sorceress long ago... His mother had such a love killed.
From then on any sort of romantic relationship he's had has only been to sire heirs to work for him.
Safe to say... as an avatar of evil who is arrogant, cruel, and cold...
Him being a yandere is not going to put you on equal footing.
No... I think Darkseid is going to view a human obsession like a pet due to his status as a New God.
He's demanding too... so he's going to expect your attention to be fully on him.
There's been multiple versions of stories where Darkseid's invaded Earth.
So him randomly picking up a human... well... maybe it could happen.
You'd be SEVERELY unlucky if he did though.
I feel like there would need to be a reason for him to pick up a random human though.
Maybe you stubbornly tried to defy him or something?
He is SUCH a dangerous yandere for someone who is just a normal person.
I feel like his main motivation would not exactly be love....
Darkseid is someone who makes it a goal to bend everyone to his will... by that logic I can see him taking a human as a pet.
He knows you're weaker than him, he could easily squish you.
You're not like anyone in the Justice League... no powers... no inventions... just a soft human.
Darkseid could easily ruin you with his power.
Yet for one reason or another... He doesn't.
Perhaps you're just unlucky when he decides he wants to pick you up and take you somewhere he can break you.
But breaking a human such as you too fast wouldn't be any fun at all.
Which leads to him slowly trying to ruin you.
Darkseid has had lovers in the past... Yes, it's shocking.
He's only ever been compassionate with one though... and was punished for it.
He views compassion as a weakness and tends to just use any partner he has after that.
Including you.
You aren't fully a partner to him... you're just a human he decided to take for himself after being pushed back to Apokolips.
To him, due to your smaller stature (He's 8'9), you are more like a pet for his amusement.
Well... amusement is difficult to say... as the god is always stoic and calculating.
So he treats most of your interactions once he has you like you're something to study.
He probably doesn't fully understand why you stand out to him...
Which is the reason he keeps prodding at you to figure out why you're making him so distracted.
I do feel like he'd keep you on his lap like a treasure.
You struggle to figure out how to act around the god due to his power... so you're always so tense against him.
You'll probably be fine if you just listen to orders... yet you're still going to be so far from home....
Darkseid won't let you isolate yourself from him though.
You should be grateful he hasn't decimated you like he would any other human.
All you need to do is sit in his lap and pay attention to him.

After that he'd move you to wherever he sleeps, dragging you beside him.

He may not admit it... but the idea makes a possessive part of him incredibly pleased.
To see you, someone originally so skittish and defiant, soon submit to him, to see him as the only thing that matters...

Sure, maybe those Justice League weaklings will collect you eventually... but by the time they do, it will be too late.

There's a good chance if anyone tried to take you... He's going to find a way to kill them.
Bloodshed matters little to him... that or it's insanely amusing.
To think others can take what belongs to Darkseid...
They'd be pathetic fools to think so.
While he views compassion as a weakness... maybe he originally uses it to get a better grip on you?
He knows how well living creatures submit to affection... giving you just enough of it while filling your thoughts with his own beliefs should bend you to his will.
He's a god who controls others through fear... but with you... you're his little project.
Instead he prefers to remold your mind, to make you feel like you need him.
Perhaps a huge part of this obsession may be him yearning for the compassion he once experienced long ago.
It's a twisted way to show it... yet maybe he's subconsciously showing he misses it.
It's, of course, not something he'd admit.
Darkseid never shows weakness, especially not for a small thing such as you.
So... it's hard to tell if when he pets you like an animal or holds you against him while you rest... if he's being genuine.
Perhaps he really does adore you in the only way a dark god can... or maybe you really are just a pet for the tyrant...
You'll never quite know for sure... but it doesn't matter, does it?
All that's for sure is you're never going home...

I had a hard time remembering what happened in the arc that Jake was in originally so I didn't know what you meant by the romantic attraction.
Upon re-watching a video all ABOUT Jake... I can see why he wouldn't be comfortable with romance.
It's because everyone around him only likes him because he's supposedly hot.
So... Jake doesn't like being used and people often come off as too strong around him when they are interested in him (Dirk, Jane, Aranea....)
Using this knowledge... I do feel like Jake may lean more towards being a platonic yandere due to his past with romance.
But who knows... maybe you make him feel comfortable by not trying to drool over him every five seconds.
Looking at Jake's behavior in the comic from what I can see... I think Jake would be a rather tame yandere.
I say this because he is literally meant to be a himbo character.
He is said IN THE COMICS to essentially be... dumb.
Everyone only seems to like him because he's attractive and he feels uncomfortable about this.
So him having a friend that wants to support him, similar to Roxy, may make him see you as a form of comfort.
I also don't entirely think he could force you into associating with him.

I do think that Jake would be clingy towards someone who shows some care towards him.
His past experiences with people may make him... reliant on you.
Honestly Jake as a yandere is more of a mess than I thought.
Like, upon doing my research, the poor guy is just used... all the time.
Which is jarring, especially since he grew up rather isolated.
So honestly... i can't see him as a very forceful yandere.
It doesn't feel all that in character.

A clingy friend... maybe a partner... but again as you said... relationships are NOT what he needs.

When you are close to Jake, at first he may think you want something from him.
You don't... nothing but maybe friendship.
Honestly the fact you might be the one person other than John that respects his boundaries is the reason Jake might be clingy.

You just defend him, you don't care about him trying to impress you, you just... support him.

Ah, Gambit... a charming rogue that's always been rather flirtatious.
He's a free-spirit, a mutant thief who is suave and already quite morally complex.
He's smooth talking, casual, flirty, and witty... His personality is meant to disarm those around him.
After all, a thief must have charisma to get away with what he does.
Despite showing off charm and smooth words... Gambit is also rather guarded.
He doesn't show his true emotions that easily, it would be a poor choice to show weakness in his line of work.
He conceals fear and insecurities with confidence and mischief.
Despite feeling like an outsider at times... he tries to never be cold.
He's incredibly loyal to those he considers close, his loyalty usually unbreakable.
Especially when it comes to love.
He loves passionately, calmly, and tends to value what his partner thinks.
It makes me think he'd be a soft yandere despite all of his confident charm.
He values trust and would give his partner space if they asked... for a little while at least.
He takes risks... yet is scared to harm others.
He wants to do good despite his criminal background.
Lastly, he's shown to be quite playful with his flirty behavior.
This is all I found on Gambit's personality through his lines and combing through wikis.
The issue I'm having is Gambit is a very loyal man.
So... making him yandere for someone is a little challenging... but I can think of a few ways I suppose.
Maybe it's something similar to the X-Men '97 issue where Rogue cheats on him and he finds out during the Timeline Entanglement?
The Timeline Entanglement is the thing that actually crashes the wedding in Marvel Rivals lore.
So maybe the two have to put it on hold... only for Gambit to either realize Rogue was unfaithful or he himself ends up getting attached to you... despite his morals.
I can't really see him doing the last one though.
Another thing to note is Marvel Rivals is a game dealing with other timelines.
So maybe this story is about an entirely different Gambit who fell for you instead?
There's all sorts of ways to explain him being a yandere for someone not Rogue if you get creative with that....
Regardless, I will be focusing on Gambit's general behavior in these HCs.
Going back to what I said before... I feel like he would be a soft yandere.
Usually extremely confident yanderes are overwhelming, often being more forceful with their obsessions.
Gambit would have his moments... but usually likes to play the long game.
He knows his charm... and he'll have you eventually... he just needs to convince you.
Gambit would make you come to him willingly.
He'd find a way to win your heart... then make sure you don't break his.
It wouldn't be hard for Gambit to hide his yandere behavior honestly.
He's a man used to hiding his intentions anyways.
He'd try to charm you, acting all flirty and playful as you work with him.
He'd probably give you attention exclusively... sure, he acts charming with others... but with you he's going out of his way to find ways to compliment you.
Then if you try to look closer into his intentions... he guards himself.

He's just admiring you.
What do you mean you saw him acting tense around someone else around you?
He's just... stressed about the whole Timeline situation... It dampens the mood.
Gambit would always find an excuse for his obsessive behavior.
With how he talks... you may even believe it.
Sure, perhaps you shouldn't be trusting a thief's word...
But doesn't his attention feel good?
He definitely hides how he truly feels about you.
He comes off as a charming man and makes it a goal to sweep you off his feet.
You may even think that's all there is to it... that he's just a smooth talking charmer that steals hearts just as much as he steals artifacts.
He'd be a great partner... a great boyfriend... and even better husband maybe...
Yet he still knows how to mask his true desires.
He'll hide his jealousy... He'll hide the urge to hide you away from everyone around you both....
He'll try to be civil for you... but it irks him when you speak to those who get a little too close.
Oh... just imagine the conflict he feels if you get close to Rogue?
It would be so messy... especially if Rogue can tell he's not quite himself around you....
He's a man that knows how to use deception.
If someone tries to tell you he isn't a man to be trusted... or warn you he's become a different person than you think...
He brushes it off.
Why listen to them, right?
Everyone's just... stressed.
He's merely showing you that you have caught his attention.
Gambit focuses on essentially keeping you with rose-colored glasses.
He blinds you with a perfect relationship, acting all sweet while he spoils you.
Gambit also just seems like he'd be a soft/submissive yandere.
Sure, he's most likely a switch in my eyes... but he's very focused on you as his partner.
He essentially distracts you from any red flags he has by being super sweet.
He spoils you with gifts and affection, he listens to your every word... he essentially makes you doubt others.
He's good at putting on a mask and a show... knowing how to manipulate others with charm is important to him.
Considering he lost Rogue one way or another... he isn't letting another slip away from him.
The others... They can say what they want.
All Gambit cares about is making sure you never leave his arms.
They can accuse him of being possessive... perhaps too obsessive to the point he could hurt you or himself... but he knows he'd never hurt you.
He'd endure anything to keep you.
Even the scrutiny of others as he slowly tries to isolate you to stay beside him.
Gambit may even swap his usual persona around when others try to get between you two.
If someone tries to confront him about you... He'll either brush it off or get defensive.
Others, his peers who he's been working with to survive this Timeline Entanglement issue, tell him he needs to give you more freedom.
He refuses... you're meant to be in his care.
He promised to take care of you... to be the one to love you... the one to protect you....
So if his own friends are going to threaten the connection he's worked so hard to create after his relationship with Rogue collapsed...
He doesn't mind getting a little violent to defend what new spark he's found.
He hides it, of course he does, just like everything else that goes against his confident charm.
Whenever you ask about the blood and bruises he's gotten... He plays it off.
He just got into a little bit of a fight... It was because he was protecting you, honestly!
Now he's... in a bit of poor shape... Could you do him a favor and help him out...?
He just really likes your hands on his skin.
Meanwhile he's taken care of the little disagreement... nothing's going to get between you and him.
Perhaps he and Rogue weren't meant to be... some other may call this rebounding... He doesn't care.
Gambit has found a new sweet thing to spoil and adore... and you're so susceptible to him.
You don't mind that he's weaving some sweet nothings behind the scenes, right?
It's like he's making a cocoon of lies to trap you with him.
Sure, maybe you'll see past his lies at some point.
But he would give you so much before then.
He'll make you never want to leave him... even if you've accidentally made him a completely different person.
If you tried to run now... He isn't going to let you leave.
No, he's had his heart broken once before.
He won't let it happen again.
Gambit would probably beg for you.
He'll get on his knees and plead that you stay.
He knows how to charm... he knows how to tug at your heart strings... so even if he does something wrong..?

After that he goes back to smothering you, acting like your watchful protector, watching you from a distance as he shields you away from others.
Eventually... He hopes you'll love him so much you'll listen to everything he says.
Yet if you feel he's too much... he'll back off for a bit to give you your space before trying again.
Gambit is a loyal man who ends up rebounding hard after losing Rogue.
Now he's more intense than ever... he wants nothing more than to be yours because your heart wants him.
Yet if his charm no longer works... if you're too smart for your own good and try to leave him despite everything...
He'll treat you like any good treasure he spots... and steal you away for himself...
Out of all the treasures Gambit has had to steal in his life... you're probably the best one he's stolen in a while.

I think I already have some Gear 5 HCs in my drafts (?) so I'll just focus around this one idea. I don't fully know how Gear 5 works yet but I tried my best. I was being a bit silly when writing this, sorry if you guys don't like it but honestly... fits the character.
Honestly... while Gear 5 Luffy seems so happy and joyful...
There's so much horror potential due to what he is.
Think about it... Luffy is not the same person he once was in this form.
He's like a playful god who sees the world as his realm to play with.
Despite being cartoonish and seemingly fun... He's incredibly powerful.
Anyone he's jealous of really has no chance if he's aiming to kill.
Actually... even if he ISN'T aiming to kill... he's still going to demolish them.
Luffy on his own is incredibly strong and would be ruthless with rivals if someone let him get to that point.
The difference is... normally you can convince Luffy to be more merciful around someone he doesn't like around you.
With Gear 5...?
You CAN'T do that with Gear 5....
He's an entirely different beast in this form.
It's like trying to reason with a god.
Well... more like you ARE.
There's really no way anyone is walking away if they manage to anger Luffy in this state.
I feel like the scariest part of Gear 5 is not only the power... But the fact it makes Luffy outright manic.
Gear 5, despite how silly it looks, would terrify you as his obsession.
The fact he can manipulate reality is pretty horrifying.
As his obsession... There's no helping whatever poor fool managed to upset Luffy in this state.
You're so used to Luffy being the sweet silly Straw Hat captain... someone so determined to be King of The Pirates.
You're used to him being a clingy yet lovable dork.
Now you see him in an entirely new light, a manic laughing god as he bounces around the area like some cartoon character.
It's honestly best you like... hide or something.
I don't think Luffy would activate Gear 5 to attack a rival.
I feel like any of this would have had to happen when he was already in Gear 5.
So maybe like after a fight and he's still in Gear 5 he goes to look for you with all his manic giggles and bouncing...
Only to see you chatting someone else up... leading him to get jealous.
Although... while normally Luffy comes off as petty or childish in his jealousy...
Gear 5 turns that into just straight up god-like wrath.
I do feel like you have a point in your ask when you say Luffy would get rid of his rivals in cartoony ways.
In the rematch against Rob Lucci he does end up summoning goggles.
However I think that's due to his Toonforce ability?
So I don't think he can create things out of thin air... but yeah, if he somehow managed to warp a piano he would do that gag you see in cartoons.
His rivals are going to feel like they're trapped in a nightmare of a cartoon.
I can definitely see him getting protective of you if someone tries to flirt with you.
It could be the cartoonish way where he drops a piano or a boulder on someone... only for you to see their blood spill out from under the object.
That or it could be something as simple as him slingshotting the person away... or even just punching them very hard.
He has the capability to use Toonforce on whatever he wants... So what if he just doesn't on a rival?
He may be filled with mania... But he is still very capable of showing that you are his.
Another thing I can see him do is just... toy with a rival.
It comes off as sadistic honestly... seeing him fling around someone who thought it would be smart to mess around with the favorite person of the future Pirate King.
I definitely feel like Luffy would just... decimate someone then come bouncing over to you.
Which is, obviously, still scary even when he acts like a dog coming for praise.
Luffy is... STILL a god like this.
He drags you into the Toonforce he creates after the destruction he causes just to hold you close.
He doesn't see the blood he caused... even if it's coating his skin.
In this form, the world is a playground for him.
Everything is a game.
I'm pretty sure Gear 5 affects how Luffy perceives things too.
He didn't react negatively to Vegapunk's death iirc due to the overwhelming nature of Gear 5.
He's in a constant state of excitement and optimism.
So he probably wouldn't understand what he did was wrong until after Gear 5 runs out.
Even then, if he feels they were hurting you, he'd probably assume it was justified.
Also messing with Gear 5 feels like willingly stepping in front of a truck so... it's kinda on them?
He'd feel bad only because you're upset.
He doesn't like it when you're upset, which makes him cling onto you in order to comfort you.
It has the opposite effect but he probably doesn't notice.

Angering Gear 5 Luffy sounds like a horrible decision.
He would probably play with them like he did Kaido... then do them in.
Could be lethal... could not...
But I doubt he's going to be very considerate of his strength in Gear 5.
It's just... coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb depending on who the rival is.
Luffy would decimate everything around him... then suddenly drag you out of whatever hiding spot you were in to wrap around you with excitement.

I actually think I like the opposite dynamic these two have as yanderes.
Pure Vanilla is extremely bright and optimistic, often wanting to coddle his obsession or act very clingy.
Dark Cacao is more isolated and brooding, preferring to isolate his obsession with him to keep them safe.
Both yanderes would be overprotective as Ancient Heroes though.
They just have different ways of doing it.
These two also have a strong bond with one another due to being friends and, well, Ancient Heroes together.
They have a certain loyalty to one another... so I agree with you in the fact they might share.
While they're opposites... they can agree on one thing.
They'd want you safe... and to themselves.
I feel sharing would work best as long as it isn't 'Romantic vs Romantic'.
Any other intention combination works... but if they both wanted you romantically then...

Dark Cacao never admits it to anyone... but the denizens within the Dark Cacao Kingdom can tell their king misses his family. You were the last cookie he adored so closely... and now his bed is more frigid than ever. Dark Cacao knew he had to accept he'd never see his family again...

You had come back to the kingdom you once adored after hearing some younger cookies needed help getting there. They claimed they were from the Cookie Kingdom... and had a message from Pure Vanilla of all cookies. Perhaps you were feeling generous... or even nostalgic...
Either way you agree to lead these cookies through the snow and past the raging beasts.
You returning to such a place was... unexpected. The kingdom you once helped monitor had fallen from grace... many villages have become bandits... it's as though your ex-husband had even ignored his own people.

Yet as Dark Cacao fell off the wall and into the snow outside his kingdom...
He was proven wrong the second he saw your eyes looking back at him.

Taking back the kingdom is... taxing. A confrontation with your son brings back old memories that remind you of why you left this place. You weren't the one to fight the son you still find love for... but Dark Cacao once again stepped forward to drive him away.
It's a grim reminder you won't have the family you once adored anymore... but even now you push on...
The next few hours are exhausting. Despite Dark Cacao's magic induced rage you helped him drive the rest of the threats from the kingdom. You had even met your son again before he fled, sharing a hug before allowing him to go once he cast away the sword that caused your family to crumble.
He has his own path to follow it seems... just like you felt you had.
Reconstruction for the Dark Cacao Kingdom started quickly. You allowed Gingerbrave and the others to leave... but for now stayed in the kingdom yourself. You're too tired to travel on your own due to the battle....
You currently sit in the bedroom you once shared with Dark Cacao. Dark Cacao lays on the bed, idly reading the letter Pure Vanilla had sent him. It's a... comforting quiet between you two. It's one you haven't experienced with him in years.
"... are you hurt?" You find yourself asking, voice echoing in the quiet room.
"I should be the one asking you that." Dark Cacao quickly responds, folding the letter and tucking it away. "You've been gone for so long...."
His voice makes your heart ache. Even now you still care for him. You may have cast aside your title... but your love still lingers.
"Please... get some rest... I won’t be leaving quite yet...." You confess, making Dark Cacao look at you incredulously.
"Leaving...?" He whispers, seemingly in disbelief. "You're... going to leave again?"
You sigh shakily, this wasn't easy to speak about....
"I've given up my title. The Dark Cacao Kingdom will always be my home but—"
"Then stay."
You... aren't even able to finish your sentence. His tone is stern, like a command. Not only that but Dark Cacao sits up in bed, as though you're going to bolt.
"Pardon...?" You ask, sensing the room's atmosphere change.
"I've been waiting too long for this..." Dark Cacao confesses, reaching over to hold your hand. "I've been waiting for the day you'd come home... when I'd be able to show you how sorry I am... I should have focused more on you...."
You take a deep breath.
"Not... Not me. You should've focused more on our son... I was fine.... You... You just changed...." You can't tell if you want to scream or cry... your throat just burns.
"I can be better. I can be the ruler you need me to be. I just... I need you to do it with me." Dark Cacao presses, leading to you yanking your hand away.
"We're over... We've been over... I can't go back to what we had. It... brings back memories..." You whisper, your tone pleading as you stand to move closer to the door. You're overwhelmed after everything... and...
Dark Cacao just moves off the bed to stop you from reaching the door, a dark gaze in his eyes.
"My life has been so barren without you...." Dark Cacao continues, quickly pulling you into his embrace. You make a startled sound and in response he holds you tighter. It's less a hug... and more of a grapple.
His robes are just as soft as you remember them. It would be comforting... if the way he was holding you wasn't suffocating. He holds you as if you're going to disappear into a fine mist...
Then you hear him lock the door.
"Dark Cacao—?" You quickly perk... and he merely shushes you.
"I'm sorry, my love... I can't let you go. I haven't been the same since you left... I led the kingdom into disarray without you. You need to stay home...."
"Let me go, Dark Cacao—!" You try to order, but the king merely kisses you. His kiss is bitter... yet mildly sweet... but it does not soothe you. You struggle, which only leads to you being escorted back and falling on the bed.
Dark Cacao merely holds you close, as though it's a cuddle... or wrestling considering how much you're struggling. His dark gaze doesn't falter. It's like he's disciplining you.
"I won't let you go back into the cold... I won't lose you a second time... you and I have always been bound to one another..."
He gives another kiss... and eventually you stop fighting, just laying under him on the bed.
"... let me... let me show you that you're mine..." Dark Cacao whispers, holding you still as he leans against you.
"In return... I am forever yours... just... be mine again."
"You know we have to move on..." You plead, which just makes Dark Cacao frown.
"Then I'll never let you leave these walls... let alone this room... again. You either come home willingly... or..."
Dark Cacao squeezes you tightly, as though even now he worries he'll lose you if he slips up...
"I keep you in this room."
The room is no longer a comforting silence... it's a thick tension not even the sharpest blade could cut. You realize as of now... Dark Cacao is a stubborn man who won't see reason... so with reluctance weighing heavily in your soul...
"I'll stay home."
Dark Cacao smiles in relief, rubbing your back gently.
"Good... I knew you'd come home, my love..." Dark Cacao whispers, purple eyes now holding a more... intense emotion, "Let me welcome you back... properly...."
You then feel him kiss you again, sitting on top of you as if greeting you from a years long expedition.
As you feel him tug at the hem of your own robes... you can't tell if you feel comfort or fear... was this really the man you once loved... or maybe...
