So the lovely woman at my fish & chip shop last night, as I grabbed a very late cheap meal, said to me "You work too hard! Take, enjoy after your dinner" and popped a freshly-homemade (steaming!) orange kumara & purple kumara bao filled with sweet black bean into my bag for free. I may have started to tear up. (the bao was amazing btw ... the couple there are immigrants whose son just finished dentistry school. This is my New Zealand) #nofilter
