Andrew Myers is a friend I met about a year and a half ago- I'm consistently floored by the simple ways he shows moments in odd and beautiful ways.

HERE!
Really excited about my good buddy, Forrest Perrine, doing a mural on our studio wall. Get excited, sounds like he'll be doing more of them soon.
More of his murals here: FOLLOW FORREST, he's the most wonderful human in Los Angeles.

I went to visit a very talented set designer, Adi Goodrich. How cool is her studio?
Aw, Meiko!

Ryan Schude on “Like Knows Like”
Ryan is a photographer with incredible craft and he’s someone I really look up to and deeply respect. I’ve learned so much about photography and the business just by being around him and asking questions. I am forever grateful for his wisdom. If you’re a photographer starting out, I would highly recommend you finding your very own “Ryan Schude” because it will help you out a lot. Until then, you can check out the real Ryan Schude in this day in the life video.
Oh, wow. Ryan, you really know how to put it. This was quite a reminder of how lucky I am to be constantly surrounded by some super smart and talented friends.
I've said it once, I'll say it again, this has to be a historical time we're sharing together.

I’m in this wonderful group show opening tonight at Design Cloud in Chicago. Apparently there are some fun takeaways for the early birds who come to the discussion panel beforehand:
Peculiar Poetics Artists Talk
February 1st 5-6pm (opening reception immediately following the discussion)
Join us prior to the opening of Peculiar Poetics for an insightful panel discussion featuring Kayl Parker, Bridget Collins, Stephanie Gonot, and Peculiar Poetics curator Alysia Alex. Get the insiders perspective on the artwork, learn more about this particular genre of photography, hear all the secrets of how this show came to be, and then stick around for the opening. Inspiration will be had, and refreshments will be served. See you there!

I made these two miniature skateboards for a show in Chicago that Matthew Hoffman of You Are Beautiful asked me to be a part of. Real excited to be sharing a night in Chicago with such a fantastic group of people. Title: A Portrait of Me and My Best Friend.
Also, Eric, the guy who I made this portrait about, helped out a bunch on those awesome trucks.

Seattle for a month with these three boys. World's best art department buds.
Today I was featured on It's Nice That. One of my all time favorite sites. Super grateful for such awesome words, things always sound better from Brits. Also, it goes without saying , but should be said, working with the talented people I somehow managed to snag is the greatest thing in the world. I'm talking to you: JUCO, Stephanie Gonot, Ashkahn, Jimmy Marble and Kelly Moore. http://www.itsnicethat.com/articles/adi-goodrich
Summertime, Gonot,Forrest, LA I miss you.
I was interviewed by Scrappers of the Portland Mercury.
