As soon as you all arrived back at your barracks, you went to grab the duffel bag you brought for the weekend. But just as you were about to walk back out, you remembered the notes and quickly walked to Priceâs office, with them in hand. Through the window, you saw that he was sitting at his, so you knocked and went in when he called out. âThe notes, Sir.â He smiled, quietly thanking you when you handed the papers over. âI think I told you to call me John, though, havenât I?â
Your eyes widened slightly at the callout, before you nodded. âY-YeahâŠyes, Iâm sorry.â Still smiling, he stood up and rounded the desk. Once standing in front of you, he reached up and gently ruffled your hair, ignoring your protests. âYou donât have to apologize, love, Iâm just teasing you. Call me whatever you feel like, yeah?â You huffed, but smiled, nodding. âGood.â
He quickly leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, before pulling back. âAlright, letâs get going, shall we?â You nodded and followed him out of the room and returned to your desk to grab your bag. But when you saw something on it, you stopped, John almost running into your bag, before he quickly stopped, placing a hand on the small of your back. âAre you alright, love?â
You reached for the object, which you quickly realized was a box of cheap pralines, with a sticky note on it. âThanks for staying here, I owe you.â You quietly read what was written on the note, feeling Price tense behind you. Then, you looked closer at the pralines, a humorless chuckle leaving your lips. âIâm allergic to those.â
Price stepped up beside you, quickly taking them from your hands and throwing them in the trash. ââll really kill that bloodyâŠâ He didnât finish the sentence, instead taking a deep breath and turning to you, picking up your duffel bag. âCome, I think Simon pulled the van around.â You nodded, walking beside him, his hand still on your back. âSimonâs not driving, though, right?â
The question made Price laugh. A loud, full belly laugh, which made you smile. âNo, no. Iâll be doing that. And youâre on passenger driver duties.â You nodded, your smile turning into a grin.
Outside, the boys were already waiting, perking up when the two of you walked through the door. âLetâs get going!â As they all started moving, you noticed that it wasnât the same vehicle you used earlier. It was definitely larger and also not military-branded, which was a relief. You watched as they all threw their bags into the trunk, but something else caught your attention. Not too far away was a group of men, looking - no, staring at you. And your boyfriend was with them. âYou alright, darling?â Kyle suddenly appeared beside you, following your gaze. And the moment he saw the men, he tensed, his arm quickly curling around your shoulders. âCome, weâre leaving.â
You nodded and let him lead you to the passenger side, getting in as he opened the door for you. After that, the boys filed in quickly. Price in the driverâs seat, Johnny and Kyle behind you, and Simon one row behind them, together with the bags. You watched through the rearview as Kyle whispered something to Johnny, probably filling him in on what just happened. At least if you were to judge by the way his face was hardening.
âReady for your passenger driver duties?â You jumped slightly as Price spoke up, completely focused on the two Sergeants. He handed you a phone, a music app open. Then he motioned for you to go ahead.
With a new focus, you forgot about everything for a bit. You immediately started playing your favorite songs, adding more and more to the playlist, until it was hours long. At first, you and Johnny, and sometimes Kyle, sang along, laughing and having fun. But quickly, everyone grew exhausted, and after a few hours, only you and Price were awake. You, too, were starting to yawn, the darkness outside not helping. âGo to sleep, love.â You shook your head, forcing your eyes to open again. âNoâŠwant to keep you company.â
Price quietly chuckled, taking a hand off the steering wheel and gently squeezing your thigh. âItâs alright. Weâll arrive within the hour, so rest, okay?â You hesitated for a moment before nodding and leaning back, closing your eyes.
Next Part (coming April 17th)
A/N: This one is a bit shorter, I'm sorry. It was a weird week...but also: Happy Birthday @animerinn! Hope you have/had a wonderful day!
Watching the recruits wasâŠinteresting. You were used to seeing the 141 on these cameras, clearing rooms efficiently and basically hunting each other down. The recruits, on the other hand, seemed unsure and slow.
âThese are the best of the best?â Price sat beside you, observing the soldiers as well, as he sighed. âYeahâŠI donât know. Donât think any of them are actually promising.â You nodded along, taking notes, before a thought crossed your mind. âWho are the promising ones?â Kyle quickly rattled off their names, making you frown. Those were the ones your boyfriend was friends with. But before you could say something, Simon chimed in. âTheyâre not promising, we jusâ donât like the way they look at you.â
Your eyes snapped to him. âYouâŠyou just picked them becauseâŠâ Johnny grinned. âBecause we wanted to teach them. Thatâs also why all of us wanted to join in, but we couldnât justify a four-on-four with these idiots.â
You didnât quite know what to think. Yes, they all told you that they wanted you and that since you were in an open relationship, they would like to be with you. But that only happened like an hour ago. âGuysâŠI-â John shook his head. âWe would do this regardless of whether we had that conversation earlier today or not.â He fully turned to look at you, a warm and heavy hand landing on your knee. âWhat we said earlier, we meant it, we still do. And we didnât just start feeling that way, we felt like that ever since you joined.â Kyle nodded. âWe would do anything for you, love. And if you want us to leave you alone, we will do that as well.â
You took their words in, and even though it was all still way too much, you couldnât deny that for the first time in forever, you felt taken care of. You felt looked after and safe. And you liked it. âThank you. All of you. And Iâm sorry that I need time to think about everything.â All of them shook their head. âDonât apologize, thereâs nothing to be sorry for, yeah?â You nodded and smiled before turning back to the screens.
The day continued, dragging on slowly as you all watched the recruits go through the drill. By the time the last team, as well as Simon and Johnny, were set to start, you were yawning while taking your notes. John smiled as he leaned back. âYou can rest on the couch, if you want.â But you shook your head, fixing your gaze back on the monitors. âItâs about to get good, no way Iâll rest now.â Kyle chuckled, quietly agreeing. So, John spoke through the intercom and let everyone know that they could begin.
And it was quick. Maybe even quicker than usual. âHuh,â Price noticed that as well. âthey are trying even harder than usual. I think that has something to do with you, love.â He grinned at you. You felt your cheeks heat up and looked back down at the monitor. Just in time, too, since right then, Johnny caught sight of one of the cameras and winked at it. Simon found it as well, keeping eye contact for a few moments, before they continued on. And within just a few more minutes, Simon and Johnny had found the recruits, quickly and effectively taking care of them. Before you knew it, the recruits were on the floor with Johnny and Simon standing over them. They didnât even break a sweat.
With that, the exercise was over, and everyone gathered outside. Price sighed before he started speaking. âThat wasâŠpathetic. If we werenât required to at least try to train you, Iâd send all of you back to your units right now. But, since we must, weâll meet back here on Monday, 0400. Anyone late will be dismissed right away. Now, scatter!â
You were surprised that he didnât really sound angry. More justâŠannoyed and disappointed, in the way only a father could. And then your mind ran with that idea. John, with a huge, fat baby on his hip. You had to admit that it wasnât the first time you thought about him that way. Or any of them, for that matter. How could you not, after all? Day in, day out, you were surrounded by four extremely attractive men who were kind to you all the time.
You shook your head, getting rid of the thoughts just as the guys started to move. âLetâs get back, shall we?â John was holding the passenger door open again as you quickly got in, thanking him. The others squeezed into the backseat, refusing as you offered to switch. During the drive, you discussed the different recruits and what to do with each. You quickly went through your notes, explaining what you had picked up on.
âGood work, love, those are some amazing observations. Can you leave those on my desk before you leave?â You looked over at John, who was focused on the road ahead, and smiled. But it quickly fell from your lips. âY-Yeah, sure. IâŠIâm staying at base, though. This weekend, I mean.â You watched as his face pulled into a frown as he quickly glanced at you. âWhyâs that? You usually go to your flat, right?â
You shrugged, looking out the window. âMy boyfriend asked if I could stay at base. HeâsâŠhaving someone over.â The tension in the car immediately thickened at your words. You watched in the rearview mirror as Johnnyâs mouth opened, but John cut him off. âWell, we canât have that, now can we?â With a slight frown, you looked at him. âWe were thinking about going to my cabin over the weekend.â Before he could continue, Johnny cut in. âWe were?â Simonâs elbow quickly found his ribs, making you chuckle.
âYes, we were. Taking a break from the recruits and relaxing.â John looked at you for a quick moment, smiling. âAnd weâd love for you to come with us.â Of course, you smiled back, quickly agreeing. âIâd love to.â
Next Part (coming April 10th)
A/N: Part three! Hope you like it, I really enjoy writing this!
You thought he left. You were sure he left. But a few seconds later, a soft knock sounded through the door, as well as his voice. âLove? Open the door, please.â He soundedâŠsad. Dejected. Upset. And that twisted the knife in your heart even further. A loud sob ripped through your body as you began to shake and weep, tears streaming down your face, landing on the carpet beneath you.
âCome on, love. Let me in. Please. IâŠI wonât talk or anything. I justâŠI canât listen to you like this.â He sounded so sincere, so caring. When was the last time he spoke to you this way? Still, your resolve was quickly crumbling as you struggled to breathe through your sobs. So you weakly reached up and twisted the lock, the door immediately creaking open an inch. You watched as he peered through, making sure he wouldnât hit you if he opened the door further. And then you were in his arms.
âOh, Iâm so sorry.â You didnât know if it was pure instinct or if it was genuinely what you needed when you clung to him like a koala, your face buried in the crook of his neck. While one of his hands supported you, the other was gently running up and down your back, as he sat down on the edge of the bed. âIâm so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you, IâŠI lost track of whatâs really important in this life. ButâŠI wonât ever do that again, I swear.â
You slowly pulled back, ignoring the wet patch on his shirt, instead looking into his eyes. âHow-â You hiccuped. âHow can I trust you again?â He shook his head, a sad smile tugging at his scarred lips. âYou canât. Shouldnât. Not yet anyway. ButâŠIâll earn it again. Iâll do anything to make you trust me again.â You swallowed, softly sniffing as the tears slowly subsided.
Silence filled the space around you as you sat on his lap, just looking at him, trying to find any trace of insincerity. But there was none. Instead, he looked almost scared. Like whatever you say next could break his world apart. You took a deep breath, looking him in the eyes. âOne last chance.â
The sigh of relief he let out made his shoulders sag, and his head fall forward, landing on your shoulder. âThank you, I-I wonât let you down.â You gently wrapped your arms around him, your fingers carding through his hair. The two of you stayed like that for some time, until he pulled back, the sad smile turning soft and relieved. âHow about a warm bath? Iâll cook in the meantime.â
You nodded, still clinging to him as he carried you to the bathroom and started a bath, gently setting you down on the rim. He quickly put in your favorite oils and salts and helped you undress. Once you were in the water and settled, he kissed your forehead before heading to the kitchen. After some time, you got out of the water and dried yourself off, before putting on a bathrobe and heading downstairs.
ââŠall my leave days, Cap. Wanna stay home for the next few months.â You frowned and stopped at the landing, listening to him on the phone. âPut me on desk duty, I donât care.â There was silence for a bit before he spoke up again. âThanks. Call you after my leave is done.â
A small smile tugged at your lips as you walked into the kitchen. He looked surprised to see you, but quickly caught himself. ââtwas Price.â You smiled. âI know.â He nodded. âAm on leave for the next few weeks.â You continued to smile. âI know.â He nodded again. âAnd on desk duty for a few months.â A quiet chuckle left your lips. âI know.â He sighed and nodded, turning to the stove, before he turned back to look at you. âIâŠI was thinking. That farmersâ market is open tomorrowâŠdo you want to go?â
You smiled and nodded. âIâd love to.â That seemed to take the edge off. âOkayâŠgreat. IâŠI love you.â You swallowed, but kept smiling. âI love you too. But youâre still on thin ice.â That made him laugh, and you just now realized how much you missed that sound.
You sat down as he quickly served up dinner. After that, he took care of the dishes while you watched your comfort show in the living room. And then you went to bed and just cuddled until you fell asleep.
And who wouldâve thought, but the next day you actually went to the farmersâ market. And the day after, he took you out on a date. And day by day, he slowly won your trust back. And you couldnât be happier.
A/N: Good ending first, I guess. Bad ending will probably be posted in a week! Also, lowkey needed this after I broke up with my boyfriend two weeks ago...
âYou what?â Your wide eyes found Simonâs after his blunt statement. Once again, he simply shrugged. âWe donât want little wimps like him on the team. Besides, we didnât want you to see him any more than you wanted to. So, we kicked him out.â While you were shocked that they would do something like that for you, you also understood. After all, until you asked Price to consider him, he wasnât even on the list.
âDo you think heâll know that itâs because of me?â Kyle frowned at my question. âWhy would youâŠâ He hesitated for a second before starting a new sentence. âHas he ever laid a hand on you?â The intensity in his voice surprised you, as you quickly shook your head. âN-No. No, never. He justâŠhe can be meanâŠyou know?â You watched as Simon let out the breath he was holding. âGoodâŠâd have killed the motherfucker.â
After lunch ended and the recruits, minus your boyfriend, returned, training continued. The team was already outside, going over the rest of the day, and you thought you had the office to yourself, when the door opened, and Johnny came jogging in. âWeâre gonna take the recruits to the training hall, let them run some drills. Cap said you should come and help with note-taking.â You nodded, immediately grabbing everything youâd need. But as you stood up, you almost bumped into the Scott. âSorry, just forgot something.â And before you could react, he pressed a gentle kiss to your cheek. âThere, better.â With a grin and a wink, he jogged away, leaving you in stunned silence for a few moments.
As you stood there, you felt your cheeks heat up and a small smile tugging at the corners of your mouth. But then you shook your head and quickly headed outside to join the others. The moment Kyle saw you, he grinned. âIs the air conditioning broken, love?â You glared at him, but couldnât help the smile.
Thankfully, Price interjected. âNo teasing, Sergeant.â Then he turned to you. âThe recruits are running there, but weâll take the car.â You nodded and followed him to the awaiting vehicle, quietly thanking him when he opened the door for you. âOf course, lovie.â
You watched as he rounded to the driverâs side and got in, starting the motor. Then it dawned on you that it was just the two of you. âThe others?â He glanced out the window at the group getting ready to move. âTheyâre joining the recruits. Said they needed to get rid of someâŠtension.â You nodded, but couldnât help the stutter in your breath. And of course, he noticed it. He quietly pulled out onto the street and started towards the training hall before he spoke up.
âLook, if this is too much, I completely understand and-â You interrupted him gently. âNo, itâsâŠit is a lot, I wonât lie. But I donât dislike it. I just have to get used to it, I think.â When you glanced over at him, he was smiling sweetly. âIâm glad. But if anything ever comes up - if any of the boys ever do something you donât want, just send them to me, yeah? âll straighten them right out.â A quiet giggle escaped your lips as you thought about Price lecturing them in his office. âWill do, Cap.â He quickly glanced over at you, a soft smile on his face. âGood. AndâŠcall me John, yeah?â You nodded, blushing again.
Once you arrived at the training hall, John and you started preparing everything. This wasnât the first time you were running drills at the hall, so you were used to it. You were just lining up water bottles for everyone when John passed behind you, his hand lingering on your waist for a few moments. âThank you, sweethearâ.â You nodded, unable to hide the shiver that ran through you at the close contact. But he just chuckled before continuing on.
Almost in a trance, you continued with your duties, putting out towels and protein bars, as well as some of the equipment that would be needed later. But the loud call of your name pulled you out of your thoughts. As you looked up, you could see the team and the recruits approaching, Johnny in the front, waving wildly until Simon slapped him upside the head. You chuckled softly at the sight and grabbed three water bottles, as well as towels.
Your arms loaded, you approached the boys. âThere. Price is already inside, planning. Go join him, Iâll take care of the recruits.â You handed each of the three a water bottle and towel, before pointing to the hall behind you. They nodded and walked past you with quiet thanks, but Simon hesitated. Smiling, you looked up at him, waiting for him to say something. Instead, he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, through his mask. âThanks, love.â
It took everything inside you not to freeze up. After all, the recruits were all there, some watching more than others. That was when you noticed that the ones who were watching were the ones your boyfriend was close to.
You took a deep breath to calm your nerves before going back to the table where everything was lined up, making sure no one took more than they were supposed to. But now that you had that realization, it was hard to shake the feeling of those recruits watching you more than needed.
Still, you continued with your job, keeping an eye on the recruits until the others returned.
âAlrighâ, gather up!â At Priceâs commanding voice, everyone stopped talking and did as he said. Once everyone was gathered around him, you attempted to take a few steps back, but a soft hand caught yours. âStay, youâre also part of the team, love.â Kyleâs hand squeezed yours, and you smiled at him. âOkay.â
Price quickly went through the drill. Two teams would enter the hall and go through the course that was set up, trying to eliminate each other. Of course, they wouldnât use real ammunition, and they were all warned not to hurt each other more than necessary. Anyone who broke any of the rules would be kicked out and reprimanded.
âEveryone got it?â The recruits quickly nodded, and you found yourself nodding along instinctually. âGood. Since we donât have an even number of groups, we picked the most promising ones and put them together. And theyâll be facing two of us.â Murmurs started breaking out, and almost every one of the recruits looked worried at the very least. âNow, donât worry, we know you donât have a chance against us, so you wonât be judged like the others. But still, try your best.â With one last look over the group, Price nodded to himself, and the team walked away, Kyle tugging you along with them.
Once all five of you were in the massive training hall, you set up camp in the observation room. From there, you could watch everything via cameras and talk to the recruits via the intercom. âSoâŠwhich ones of you are facing the recruits?â You looked over the team, smiling as you slowly swiveled back and forth in your chair. âWell, seeing as every single one of us wants to impress you, we chose to decide it like men. We played rock, paper, scissors. Simon and Johnny won, of course.â Price shook his head with a smile.
You glanced over at the pair and found them standing in the corner, already talking strategy. With a light chuckle, you spun around to face the cameras, seeing the first two groups already standing at each of the entrances. Thatâs when John spoke up again. âOkay, letâs start.â
Next Part
A/N: Here is part two! It will be kinda slow burn for some time, hope you're ready for it! And since I'm having problems with the tag list, I'll just say that I'll upload parts every Friday at 11pm CET!
Hiya, I'm posting this because I just updated the tag list for my forced open relationship x TF141, and I'm having issues tagging some of you who asked. So, the next part will be posted this Friday, at 11 pm CET. Until then, I'll hopefully think of a solution! (So far, they are making another Discord Server or maybe looking into making a group chat with everyone who wants to be added.)
It was always something. The military. The next OP. The team.
It was never you. Your feelings. Your time. Your opinion.
Your friends told you to leave. That it was more trouble than it was worth, but you loved him. You couldnât give up. One more chance, you told yourself. One more chance for him to actually listen and do something.
When he came home from his last mission, you gave him time and space, not wanting to confront him while he was exhausted and still covered in grime. You even drew him a bath, mixing in the oil you knew he loved, which he never admitted. After all, he had promised you that you two would spend some time together after the mission. And you believed him.
At least until you were busying yourself in the kitchen, preparing his favorite meal, and you heard the key jingle. Confused, you walked to the front door, just to catch him putting on his boots. He looked up as you whispered his name. âGoing out with the boys, donât wait up, yeah?â He was about to leave when you said his name again, this time louder. âYouâŠâ You sighed. âYou said weâd spent time together.â
How can you say that you love me when you canât see Iâm dying?
Now he sighed. âItâs just one evening. We can do something tomorrow.â You let out a bitter laugh at his statement. âYeah, right. When youâre too hungover, like the time you promised youâd go to the farmers market with me, just to brush me off, and I had to go alone.â Your hands landed on your hips as you glared at him. âOr that time you promised youâd take me out on a date, just for you to disappear to Scotland for almost a week.â By then, he was standing upright, looking at you with a slight frown. He said your name in a calming way, but you were done.
I know my pain is such an imposition.
âI get it. I really do. Your job is hell, and what you go through with your team, it bonds you. They are family, and Iâm not trying to keep you from them, butâŠbut Iâm also family, Simon. And I am tired of giving you chance after chance to make it right. Iâm just tired.â
I gave you all my best me's, my endless empathy, and all I did was bleed as I tried to be the bravest soldier, fighting in only your army, Frontlines, don't you ignore me
As he reached out for you, for the first time you pulled away, retreating into the house. âYou know, I did everything for you. I never complained that you were gone for weeks, months at a time. That I never knew if you were dead or alive until you walked through these doors. I was there when you were wounded, in the hospital. When you were depressed, in the bar. I was there whenever you needed me. I defended you from everyone in my life telling me to leave you, that I deserved better.â
And I wouldn't marry me either, A pathological people pleaser, Who only wanted you to see her
âBut Iâm done. IâŠI donât know why you wonât love me - and donât tell me that you do, because thatâs not true. I tried everything, but Iâm done. So go, at least that way I can pack up in peace.â
Without waiting for an answer, you walked up to your shared bedroom, closing and locking the door behind yourself, and only letting yourself cry when you heard the front door close.
Good Ending
Bad Ending (coming soon)
A/N: You know, sometimes I hate being a woman. One of my closest friends just wrote a poem about being a woman, and I can't agree more. I'm trying to get her to make her own Tumblr account and post her art and poems. Help me convince her!
CW: forced open relationship, kinda toxic relationship
You were Priceâs secretary. The 141âs beloved assistant and everyone on base knew that. Of course, so did your boyfriend. So, when he caught wind that the 141 was looking for promising soldiers they could train and potently integrate into the team, he begged you to put in a good word for him. And like the good girlfriend you are, you did.
Price didnât need a lot of convincing. Whether you knew it or not, they, the whole team, would do anything for you. Before you knew it, your boyfriend was accepted as a recruit, and you saw him more or less every day. And at first, you were ecstatic. Why wouldnât you be? But after a few weeks, the team noticed that you grew quiet, especially when he was close.
Without your knowledge, they had a team meeting, just the four of them, where they discussed what could be wrong and what to do. Little did they know that they were about to be served the answer on an off-white, scraped-up, plastic tablet.
âShe said yes?â All of them perked up when they heard your boyfriend answer. âYeah, mate. Officially in an open relationship! Canât believe it, but the blonde I told you about? âmeeting her tonight.â Johnny immediately pushed his tray away from him, his appetite gone. Simon slowly leaned back in his chair, the air of calmness around him promising trouble. John and Kyle just looked at each other before nodding. And all at once, the four of them got up and left the mess hall. On their way out, Simon shoulder checked your boyfriend, while Price stopped for a second. âSorry kid, youâre out.â
You were relieved when the team left for their lunch break. It wasnât unusual for you to stay back in the office and snack on your lunch, which you almost always brought with you, while continuing your work. All of them had tried to chastise you about taking a break, but after a few months, they learned that you just preferred it that way. And now, you used the alone time to have your emotional breakdown in peace.
At least that was the plan, but only twenty minutes after they left, you were in the middle of carefully wiping your tears away so that you wouldnât mess up your make-up, they walked back in, all their eyes trained on you. âOh bonnieâŠâ Johnny was immediately by your side, gently cupping your chin and taking over with a new tissue. âWh-Why are you back already, I-â Price gently shushed you, kneeling down at your side with a quiet grunt.
âWe overheard yourâŠpiece-of-shit-boyfriendâŠyou never wanted an open relationship, did you?â You swallowed thickly, avoiding the captainâs eyes as new tears welled up in yours. Then you gently shook your head. âHeâŠhe kept pressuring me, and I didnâtâŠI didnât want to disappoint him.â Your eyes snapped over to Simon as you heard him crack his knuckles, his eyes filled with rage.
âLoveâŠhe shouldnât have pressured you. And you should never feel the need to say yes to something you donât want.â Kyleâs voice was gentle as he leaned in a bit. Price nodded, still kneeling by your side. But you just shrugged. âItâs too late to back out now anyway, heâs seeing someone tonight.â Price nodded. âYeah, butâŠopen relationships go both ways.â The way he said it made you frown, like he was implying something. Seeing the confusion, Johnny smiled at you, about to say something, when he got interrupted by Simon.
âWe want you.â
Suddenly, four pairs of eyes landed on him, but he simply shrugged. âWot? Itâs the truth.â Your eyes flickered from one man to the other, unsure, while Price sighed. âWhat heâs saying, love, is thatâŠif you wantâŠweâd love to take care of you. In whatever way you want and need us to.â The five of you sat in silence for a few moments, your tears slowly stopping, as you took in what they had just admitted.
âIâŠIâm not sureâŠâ John looked up at you and smiled. You immediately had to think of a Quokka. âWe wonât force anything on you, I promise. ButâŠlet us show you what we mean, yeah? Weâll do everything on your timeline, no questions asked, no pressure.â After considering it, you nodded, and for the first time in what felt like years, you smiled. Everyone sighed in relief, and even Simonâs shoulders relaxed a bit.
âOh yeah, we kicked that arsehole out, by the way.â

A/N: This will be a series, so if you want to be on the tag list, let me know!
He had done it. Leon had finally done it. He traveled across the country, killed hundreds of zombies and monsters, the likes of which he had never seen before. And he found a cure. He finally found a cure for the T-Virus. When he took off his gloves and saw his hands, vein-free for the first time in what felt like ages, he immediately fished the ring out of his pocket and put it on, smiling at the sight of it.
He couldnât wait to come home and find youâŠdancing? While cooking?
âWell, here I was thinking youâd be more worried about me.â The grin you showed him when you looked up was worth everything he had gone through. âNow, why would I be worried if I saw you all over the internet the last two days?â Still, you put down the knife and rushed over to him, jumping into his arms, immediately pressing your lips to his. And as you felt his fingers dig into the flesh of your naked thighs, you finally realized that it was all over.
You slowly pulled back, your hands gently cupping his cheeks and turning his face so you could peer at his neck. âYou did it.â Leon nodded, pressing a gentle kiss to the palm of your hand. âI did.â Gently, he sat you down, his hands on your waist.
âNow, what did you mean when you said you saw me on the internet?â You giggled, pulling him over to the kitchen counter and hopping up onto it. With him slotted between your legs, you reached for your phone and pulled up the latest thirst TikTok you happened upon. âYou were in the back of one of the news broadcasts and wellâŠthe girls work fast.â
You loved confronting him with modern technology and everything that came with it. He always looked so disturbed. âWhy is that song playing in the background? And why are they zooming in on my bicep?â A quiet giggle escaped your lips. âThey think youâre sexy. And I couldnât agree more.â
Disturbingly quick, your phone landed on the counter as Leon pulled you closer, his fingers digging into your thighs. âOh yeah?â You continued to giggle, your arms around his neck and lips ghosting over his. âOh yeah. The sexiest.â Just as quick, you were slung over his shoulder as he carried you off to the bedroom. âYouâre quick for a fifty year old.â His hand immediately landed on your ass with a loud smack, making you laugh even harder.
As he threw you onto the bed, watching you bounce and giggle, he couldnât help but smile, his heart swelling with love. âWhat?â He didnât realize how long he had just been staring at you until you pulled him from his thoughts. He shook his head, pulling his shirt over his head as he slowly crawled towards you. âNothing. JustâŠI love you.â You smiled, leaning back as he came closer. âI love you, too, Leon. Even if youâre an old ma-â You shrieked with laughter as he suddenly pulled you closer, shutting you up with a kiss.
A few hours later, dinner forgotten, the two of you were lying in bed. You, tugged away at his side, playing with the wedding ring on his finger, matching yours. âSoâŠnow that that whole T-Virus thing is taken care ofâŠcan we start working on your posture?â Immediately, he flipped you onto your stomach, causing more shrieks and laughter to leave your lips.
YeahâŠhe had finally done it.
A/N: Saw too many of those TikToks. God, I'd do anything for this man and this bicep. Also saw someone saying that they hoped whoever Leon is married to has nothing to do with his line of work, and I couldn't agree more. He deserves the peace.
The boys deserved a break, that was one of the things John and you could agree on. Sadly, that wouldnât mean that the paperwork would start taking care of itself, or even stop. So, the Captain and you decided that you would give them one day. One day to go to the beach, relax, have fun, and maybe get a bit of a tan. Meanwhile, the two of you would stay back and take care of the paperwork. They were awful at it anyway, so it didnât change much regarding your workload.
You watched as they gathered everything into the trunk of one of the cars, a fond smile on your face as Simon and Johnny were fighting who would get to drive, meanwhile, Kyle had already grabbed the keys. Before they left, Simon came jogging back to you, pressing a quick kiss to your lips. âLove you.â You grinned, lightly smacking his ass. âLove you too. Bring me something back, yeah?â He nodded, a matching grin on his face as he returned to the car and got into the backseat.
Price and you spent the day holed up in his office, silence filling the space as you both worked on the never-ending mountain of papers. It was peaceful, almost too peaceful, and both of you were used to the chaos that the rest of the team brought. So, by the time the sun was starting to set, both of you had started to grow antsy, expecting said chaos to return at any moment. And it did.
The first thing you heard was the tires screeching as the car came to a stop in front of the base. Next came the cursing and theâŠsquawking? The captain and you both stood up and rushed to the door, slightly scared of what was expecting you. As you left the building, everything suddenly made sense. Well, as much sense as three adult men wrestling with a seagull could anyway.
âWhat the hell?â At the sound of your voice, Simon looked up with a grin. âLove! Look what I got you!â He enthusiastically pointed to the seagull that was trying to bite his finger. You sighed and turned to Price. âYou know, in hindsight, itâs my fault. I shouldâve been clearer.â He chuckled and watched as you turned back to the boys. âWhen I said bring me something back from the beach, I meant a shell or a pretty stone!â All of them stopped immediately as the seagull continued to struggle.
Simon glanced around for a moment before sighing. âLetâs bring it back, boys.â Price and you sighed, as they all, the seagull included, got back into the car and drove off. âI swear to god with these idiots.â
A few hours later, it was already dark, they returned. You chuckled as Simon walked up to you, dozens of shells and stones gathered in his shirt, which he was holding up as a makeshift basket. âWe bought the seagull some ice cream before we let it go.â You giggled and leaned up, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. âGood job, baby. And I love the shells and stones. Want to put them in a glass?â He nodded with a proud smile and followed you into your his quarters.
Letâs just say that the next time they had a day off, they werenât allowed to go to the beach.
A/N: This was half finished, in my drafts for months. I saw the TikTok and immediately thought of golden retriever boyfriend Simon. Couldn't help myself.
Also, I decided to start a new perma tag list, since it'll be easier than going through the old one and seeing who still wants to be tagged and who doesn't. So, if you want to be on the perma tag list for Simon Riley/TF141, let me know! <3
Based on this by @jnw1813, thank you again for letting me write this! <3
CW: pregnancy
They said it would all get better with time.
Six minutes after he left, I was still curled up on the floor, clutching the positive pregnancy test I had just shown my boyfriend, and sobbing my heart out. I couldnât believe he would just leave like that.
Six days after he left, I was smashing his favorite mug, the one I had made him for his birthday a few years ago, against the tiles in the kitchen, screaming in frustration as I grabbed the next object I could break.
Six weeks after he left, I was carrying the few cardboard boxes I had filled with my stuff to my car and drove to the house that belonged to my grandma before she died. All these years, we had kept it. âJust in case.â my mother had always said, and now I was glad we had it. It was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and as I drove up to it, I smiled for the first time in what felt like years. I could already see my child running around in the yard, playing. I could see myself raising them there.
Six months after he left, I was on my knees in the yard, tending to the flowers I had planted a few weeks after moving there. The entire house and yard had needed a lot of work, which I was more than happy to take on, but by then it was getting exhausting. My belly was swollen and heavy, and I found myself out of breath just by walking to the toilet in the morning. At least I only really needed to finish the babyâs room, which is exactly why I was tending to flowers instead. I was nervous, even if I didnât admit that to myself. Still, kneeling was a bad idea, and if I hadnât smelled what I had, I donât think I wouldâve been able to get up at all. But when youâre pregnant and craving something you donât even know and then smell it, well, youâd be up in no time.
So, six months after he left me, I found myself hesitantly knocking on my neighborâs door. It was probably rude, and I regretted it the moment I did it, but it was too late anyway. Not like I couldâve run away. By the time the man who lived there wouldâve opened the door, he wouldâve seen me, two feet away, waddling like a penguin.
âWot?â I jumped slightly as he pulled me from my thoughts. Even though I had seen him multiple times by now, I had never been this close, and jesus christ, he was massive. And the black surgical mask he was wearing barely hid his handsome face. âI-uhmâŠâ He raised an eyebrow, not looking impressed.
âIwaswonderingwhatyouwerecookingbecauseitsmellsreallygoodandIreallywantsomeandIâmsorryifIâmdisturbingyouandIâlljustleave.â (I was wondering what you were cooking because it smells really good and I really want some and Iâm sorry if Iâm disturbing you and Iâll just leave.) I was just slowly spinning on my heel, to walk away in shame, when a heavy hand landed on the top of my head, stopping me. âWait âere.â By the time I was done spinning back around, he was gone, but the door was open, and I could hear him doing something inside. A few moments later, he returned with a large container filled with whatever was smelling so delicious.
ââs good with rice. Or potatoes.â I nodded, eyes wide and grateful. âTh-Thank you so much!â He nodded, giving me a quick once-over, his gaze lingering a bit longer on my belly, before gently closing the door.
With a huge grin, I walked back to my house and indulged in the deliciousness. I promised myself that the next time Iâd see him, Iâd ask him for the recipe. What I didnât expect though, was that it would continue. Every time I smelled something delicious from his house, I would knock on the door, and he'd already have a portion ready for me. On some days, he'd even grab two plates, and we'd eat on his porch.
About a month after I had knocked on his door for the first time, there was a knock on mine. I quickly waddled to the front door and pulled it open, just to come face to face with my neighbor. He was wearing a black button-up shirt and his black surgical mask, rubbing the back of his neck.
âDinner? I cooked.â My eyes widened for a second before I found myself nodding enthusiastically. âY-Yes, Iâd love to.â I took the arm he offered me, grabbed my keys, and followed him over to his door. âSorry, Iâm so slow.â I watched as he glanced back down at my belly, the skin around his eyes crinkling. âDonât worry âbout it lovie.â
Dinner was amazing. The food was spectacular as always, and I found myself genuinely enjoying his company. By the time I was starting to yawn, I found myself sad that I had to leave. Still, as soon as I mentioned that I should head back home, Simon, who had introduced himself earlier, got to his feet and helped me up as well, before slowly guiding me back to my house.
âThis wasâŠreally nice. Thank you, Simon.â He had put his mask on again, but I could see the outline of a smile underneath it. âânjoyed it too. Again?â I nodded, smiling up at him. And when he leaned down, unhooking his mask and letting it dangle from one ear, before kissing me, I didnât pull away. Instead, I leaned into it.
After that, everything happened fast. We didnât just meet for dinner or food in general anymore. Instead, we spent most evenings at either of our houses, just doing whatever and enjoying each otherâs company. Before I knew it, I was living more at his place than at mine. Spending the night turned into spending the weekend and suddenly my clothes were in his wardrobe, and half his bed had been taken up by my pregnancy pillow.
And just like that, my due date was approaching fast. A week before it all was supposed to happen, Simon and I were lying on the couch, his head next to my belly as he softly talked to the baby. My hands were running through his hair as he suddenly looked up at me. I just smiled down at him, and after a few moments, he looked down before muttering something. For a second, I wasnât sure what he had said, but then the words clicked in my head, and I smiled. âI love you too, Si.â
Nine months after he left me, I was lying in a hospital bed, holding my little girl, with Simon right beside me. His nose and mouth were covered by his usual black surgical mask, but his eyes sparkled with joy and pride as he watched her. Still, I could sense the hesitation in him.
âDo you want to hold her?â His eyes widened, but after a moment of hesitation, he nodded, and I helped him place her in his arms safely. And it immediately felt right. Later, when the nurse brought over the birth certificate, I didnât hesitate to put down his name as the father. And a week later, when I was finally allowed to go home, it felt just as right to walk into his house, instead of mine.
âI have a surprise.â Simon was holding the baby carrier, as well as my hospital bag, as he unlocked the front door. After setting our baby girl down in the living room and making sure she was still sleeping, he took my hand and gently led me up the stairs to the room beside the bedroom. ââs not much, butâŠI hope ya like it.â
He opened the room to a beautiful nursery, filled with everything I could have ever wished for. From a crib that looked straight out of a fairy tale, to the rocking chair I had spotted a few weeks ago at the store. âHowâŠwhen?â I turned to look at him, my eyes shining with tears.
He smiled at me coyly. âMy mates helped. Worked while visiting hours were off and I had tâleave anyway.â At that, my eyes widened. âYou did this all in a week?â He just shrugged, gently spinning me back so I was looking at the room again, and wrapping his arms around my waist. âWanted tâdo everything right, yâknow?â
I sighed, looking at him over my shoulder. âYou did more than just right. Thank you, Simon.â He grinned and gently kissed my shoulder. âYeah.â Right in that moment, we heard soft cries from the living room and together walked back to our daughter. Our daughter.
And one year after he left me, I knew that it was for the better. I wouldnât change it for the world.
They were right, it did get better with time. They just didnât mention that a hulking hottie helped as well.
A/N: So...I won't promise I'm back. Mental health is tricky, and I don't want to make promises I won't keep. But thank you for all of your patience. I really don't deserve it. There are like two more shorter ones coming soon. I love you all, and I hope this doesn't suck too much. I'm still kinda rusty.
And once more, @jnw1813 thank you so much for your permission, for the inspiration, and for getting me out of my writing slump, eternally appreciative.
I also have no clue of my old perma tag list for Simon, so if you see this and used to be tagged/want to be tagged in future stuff, just let me know! <3 For now I'll just use my most recent tag list for the gamer series, let me know if you want off of it!
Ghost glanced at his sergeant, grunting as he sat down, leaning down to untie his boots.
"Fed 'er." He grunts, undoing the knots. "Was cookin' one of my mum's recipes, felt like it."
He pulls a foot free. "Smell must'a wafted over to 'er 'ouse. She was my neighbour at the time." He explains, Soap listening intently. "Well, not too long later I hear a knock at my door. I check and there's this pregnant bird standing there, askin' if she can have some o' whatever I'm cooking."
Ghost looked up, standing to take his pants off now that his feet are free. "'ow could I say no to tha'?" He scoffs slightly, throwing the balled up pants into the basket in the corner. "Sweet thing like 'er coming up to a man like me? Mum would've come back from the dead if I did."
Soap chuckles a bit, pulling a fresh top over his head. "So ye fed a pregnant lass and she stayed?"
"Aye." Ghost nods, top off, mask pulled off as he begins wiping the eyeblack off his face. "Couldn't refuse even if I wanted too. She was a vision, mate. Big belly, glowing cheeks, and..." He trails off, remembering how cute you'd been, standing at his door, heavily pregnant and hungry for that delicious meal that lured you into his home.
"Lt?"
Ghost grunts. "Kept feedin' 'er. Like a damn cat, she kept coming 'round." He mutters. "Was there when our daughter was born. She put my name on the birth certificate and I knew I wasn't letting 'er go." He says, opening his locker, pausing as he took in the photo taped to the back.
You and your little girl, only a few months old.
From behind him, Soap hums.
"Think if Ah make my mum's pie Ah'll get a pretty lassie too?"
I donât know about you all, but Iâm currently sitting on my couch, still in my pjs after cleaning my apartment to get it ready for the celebration later, and am watching the snow fall outside on my balcony.
I live in Vienna, and itâs the first white Christmas that I can actually remember. I hope itâs a good omen for whatâs to come and if it is, I hope that that good omen finds you all.
I promise Iâll be back soon! And if you want, feel free to leave requests!
So, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all. Thank you for your support through all these years and all these hiatuses. I love you.
Lowkey in a depressive episode rn, not gonna lie. Who would have thought finishing your degree and not having any clue what to do now could do that to you?
Anyway, updates will hopefully happen, but they will be sporadic, and I don't want to force myself to stick to a schedule. Also, maybe I'll post blurbs or oneshots in between updates to the gamer!ghost series.
Also have to clean up my blog lmao, lots to do, so little energy.
With all that being said, I love you all, thank you for all the support and your patience.
You spent that day in bed, lounging around, watching your comfort shows, and cuddling with Riley. Only when you grew hungry and when Riley needed something, did you get up, before swiftly returning, basking in Simonâs smell before it would fade.
The next day, you were woken up by Riley gently nudging your face, his quiet whines making you blink. After a few yawns and stretches, and a lot of cuddles, you followed the german shepherd through the kitchen and to the back door, where he pawed against the wood. With another yawn, you opened the door and let him outside, watching him run around for a bit, until you decided it was time to explore.
You found his PC room first, marveling at the setup. While you had just used your old PC, which was barely handling gaming and streaming, Simon had a setup that must cost more than your entire apartment, including the furniture. Everything was up to date, from brands so expensive, you donât even look at their wares, because you knew you could never afford them. But him? He could afford it. You even wondered how much of it he bought himself and how much was gifted to him by these brands and others.
In awe, you walked closer and started to inspect it, the idea of exploring the rest of the house completely forgotten. Remembering the note, you pressed the power button and watched as the PC started. Within seconds, you were looking at his desktop, the background making you smile. It was a picture of him with his team. After trying to find every detail possible on the picture, your eyes drifted over to his games, neatly arranged in rows on the left side of the desktop, each row a different genre.
The first row was the games he was streaming most of the time. Below that were horror games. Alongside classics like Outlast, Amnesia, and the original Resident Evil, there were also some newer ones, as well as some demos, that you didnât recognize. Below that, you found a lot of multiplayer games, and some cozy ones. The last genre surprised you. As much as you knew that Simon was a big softy, you couldnât quite imagine him playing something like âSticky Businessâ.
Before you could continue snooping through the PC, your phone started to vibrate with an unknown number calling you. Your first instinct was to ignore it, before you remembered Simonâs letter and hurriedly picked up, panicked thoughts racing through your mind. Had something happened already? Was Simon hurt?
âYes?â The woman on the other end chuckled when she heard your panicked voice. âHeâs okay, donât worry. I just wanted to reach out and introduce myself to you. My name is Kate.â A sigh of relief left your lips as you relaxed into the chair, before quickly introducing yourself. âI-I see. Sorry, I justâŠIâm not used to this yet.â You could hear the smile in her voice when she answered. âIâd love to say that it gets easier, but that would be a lie. How about we meet for tea? Iâm anxious to put a face to the first person Simon has ever asked me to keep updated.â
With a smile of your own, you agree to meet her later today in town and hang up. By that point, you heared Riley approaching you, a ball in his mouth, which he immediately drops at your feet. âYou wanna play?â As if he understood what you were saying, he cocked his head to the side, and it almost looked like he was smiling. âThen letâs go play!â You grabbed the ball and followed an excited Riley to the backyard, where you played with him for the next hour or so, before you collapsed onto the grass, exhausted.
The german shepherd trotted up to you, before lying down and resting his head on your thigh. âWell, now I definitely have to take a shower before I meet Kate.â As soon as you said the name, Riley perked up. âYou know her? Want to come with me when I meet her?â Excited, Riley jumped up and turned on the spot a few times, before looking straight at you again. Chuckling, you pushed yourself to your feet and led the way inside. âWell, in that case, Iâll get ready.â
Next Part | Coming Friday the 11th
A/N: Oops? Sorry about not posting last Friday, I got swept up in the festival, where I was working. I am currently recovering from 49 hours of work within 5 days, as well 79.203 steps in the same time span. How my feet are still alive, I have no idea. But thank you for your patience! Also, does anyone know how to fix the tags that aren't working? ;-;
Also, let me know if you want to be on the perma taglist! Just say if you want all of COD or specific characters. Although I mostly post Ghost.
