This is simply one of the finest, most characteristic California bungalows to be found anywhere. And its sitting at a diagonal to the nearby mountain is spectacular. In our 1977 “A Guide to Architecuture in Los Angeles and Southern California” it was still at te corner of Los Robles Avnue and California Street in Pasadena. But times change. Incidentally, it proved impossible to move the original cobblestone foundation and pillars but they were rebuilt by modern craftsmen.
