Homestuck 2 theorizing: Rosebot isnt actually fooled for a second by Dirk's nonsense. She just knows that any reality where he doesnt get to do his Big Evil Plan* is a reality where he kills himself
So she plays along, making some sacrifices but if she can save Dirk and revive John via Terezi it's all worth it. Anything to save the small circle of family she has
*which is actually just to make himself a villain to get a plot moving again to save his friends from irrelevance; sburb and deltritus and everything are all just secondary. It isnt a Dirk plan if it isnt needlessly self-sacrificial and painful for all involved. He doesnt know any other way
