This account is primarily a personal edit(+) blog, though it was originally a kin request blog & I am still open to requests. I've not been doing edits as much lately & I always forget to post everything ever but I do still use this blog to some extent.
Everything I make is free to use with credit & fine to tag as kin/fictive/etc. unless explicitly stated otherwise. I will ask that if you use my edits for anything that you @ me/tell me about it (I'll love to see it!) & preferably don't use my edits for comship/proship stuff.
I do requests on Rare Occasion at this point but if you'd like to try your luck I'll do whatever catches my interest. I'll receive requests for: Edits (overworld, talksprites, occasionally pesterquest), Panel Edits, Moodboards, Icons.
All of my edits are done on ibisPaint (& I use digital brush with antialiasing off for everything). I find images for my moodboards from pinterest, dump them into a grid on ibispaint, and then coloredit the shit out of them with ibispaint layers until they look right to me.

RULES !!
Since this is a chill and casual blog the only rules here are for my own accessibility, so they are:
Don't request anything with Neon Flashing Lights, I won't be able to do the request without a seizure.
If you're requesting something for a character/s, please include their full name and source.
Only send one request per ask (but send as many Asks as you want :])
For my own comfort I ask very niceys that y'all don't request anything to do with hermitcraft/the yters involved in that,

I'll do my best to do reqs for any fandom/character/theme/ship etc requested, although you'll see by my blog I have a few specific fandoms I cater to more.

Mod fun facts !! Hi, as I already said I'm May or Iris, used to go by mod iris here. I made this blog when i was a bored teenager in lockdown and now I revive this as a bored adult who's homebound !
I'm a notorious kinnie and fused person with DID, world's most annoying tgirl and a silly goober. I wanted something fun to do in my multitudes of spare time so this blog exists. I also play a lot of shitty games, paint from time to time, and like to cook and improv recipes a lot :]

Some simple Meulin PQ Sprites I made, mostly just cause i keep getting meulin requests and i thought it would be nice to have bases already ready for her. Theres also a link to a google drive folder with the seperated sprites in original quality not the pixel-ey tumblr quality for other editors or for anyone that wants to use them :D
PSA for anyone who wants to get into homestuck spriting/is just starting out
Don't just use sprites that you find off of google for your own edits.
You don't know who made them, what their stance is on other people using their work, or it could be a re-upload that is uncredited.
If you find a sprite/spritework, it's a good idea to just blanket assume that you can't use it for your own edits unless otherwise stated. In general, unless the sprite is from homestuck itself, don't rip parts from other people's sprites. Instead, i would recommend trying to find bases/base sheets, as those are made specifically for people to use. It is also important to make sure that if you do use these bases to credit the creator. They spent a lot of time and effort to create these bases, and it's important to recognize that by crediting them.
And then speaking of crediting:
For the love of god credit the farragofiction dollmaker.
I have seen far too many posts where people claim they've made a sprite only for me to immediately clock it as a dollmaker sprite, and then get frustrated that there is no credit. I've seen it far too many times on tumblr and mspfa, and i'm sure it happens on other sites too, those're just the main ones i'm active on.
The dollmaker even tells you to credit it on that gray square you have to click before you can see the sprites!
And yet no one ever seems to remember to credit it.
You should always credit other people's work if you use it.

Kind of! I haven't been editing much lately and I can't guarantee I'll do any particular requests. But you're more than welcome to send in requests and I'll do anything that catches my eye. I'm more likely to accept requests for overworld sprites or moodboards right now because I have the most fun with those.
I wanted to clarify some things that I neglected to mention :)
1) My hair was dyed from brown hair so the roots should be brown (Sorry for not specifying!)
2) When I meant black undershirt I meant it was under the usual white logo shirt, I understand now that the sprite wouldn't be able to convey that so that's my bad! (Again, sorry for not specifying!)
3) I was just wondering if you could make the skirt the same colour as the Mutie symbol on the shirt
