I want her to stick her forked, snake tongue into my mouth and go "pstpstpstpstpstpst" like she's trying to get a sensory feel for the inside of my throat
How odd is it standing around, plotting escape, looking for ways out while the world keeps spinning, albeit on a different axis. We all know how weird, how wrong, how off it all feels but we're all still just trying to go through life. I'm still training for my job, I'm still going to school, I'm still pretending it doesn't dominate my thoughts.
Last night, Donald Trump halted federal funding and loans to root out "equitable Marxism and transgenderism" and the world around me just keeps going. As though they haven't noticed the scapegoating and vitriolic attitudes slowly growing like a cancer towards various out groups.
It feels like all I can do is hold on and document it all. Writing it down, making posts like these, trying to prove this happened and I was here for it while I bide my time and hope I have enough of it.
I'm sorry this can't be a normal funny post about my big wife or how neat it is to have tits or whatever.
This is a good post. A good post.
Whenever someone says that they’re ‘mourning’ or whatever because of my transition, I imagine taking my egg-self around back and putting him down like Old Yeller.
One crucial thing to understand about this blog's approach to dillanette comics commentary is that I'm not really in any kind of position to pass judgement on the excesses of writers like Garth Ennis and Mark Millar because on a fundamental level I view dismemberment as a form of slapstick and people who live in glass houses shouldn't open fire with a machine gun
People who get real hot to shit on Ennis don't really understand that he's in on it. He's in on every joke you can think of when you're reading his work.
CW: brief mention of sexual violence
Don't get me wrong, I think that an analysis of the "unnecessary" and gratuitous violence in Ennis' work is redundant, because both he as the writer and we as the readers know that it's gratuitous, and we all know that the gratuity is the point. However, I think that the nature of some of the violence in his books, and the deeper meaning behind the shock value is where I take issue with Ennis' body of work. To me it feels like Ennis uses sexual violence as another form of slapstick violence, treating a violent assault that could happen to a real person with as much weight as someone getting exploded into cartoon blood and guts, and not giving proper weight to that more realistic violence is what puts me and so many other people off to work's like "The Boys"
I also think that The Boys as a comic book takes a very hyper conservative view of morality, and it often equivocates drug use, orgies, and gay sex with violent crimes.
Anyway that's it, that's the post
men are biologically wired to enjoy paradox games

Watching a compilation from the Thunder Thigh review, an 80's variety show written, directed, and performed by Joyce J. Scott and Kay Lawal-Muhammad. Their ability to perform comedy and evoke emotion with equal weight (pun intended) is incomparable, and it's a shame that it's taken 40 years for their art to get even a fraction of the recognition it deserves. That's it, that's the post, just go check out their work.
