soaring back to the present I take comfort to see that your simple image stirs nothing in me

yet this comfort is shattered if the past holds a key a door I can't access behind blocked memories

to accept such affect let searing wounds burn to know that each new love could take the same turns

this answers the question before starting anew

with a sober acceptance hope it's just a preview
