Confession time

I learned something about life and myself tonight. Sometimes I feel like I am really good at holding myself together. In a perfect world sure, maybe. But this isn't a perfect world, and if it was I wouldn't have to hold myself together. Grief, pain and loss are crippling things. They can come beating down your door at anytime. And it can come when you least expect it. When you are pegged by the things that have scared you for so long, sometimes it's hard to resist falling back into the grief. I've resisted for so long now, trying to be strong so the ones I love don't have to worry. But like I said before, I've learned something tonight. Life is telling me that sometimes it's okay to cave to the grief. You can sit on your bathroom floor at 11 pm and cry your eyes out. It's okay for a simple movie to rehash the pain you've tried to burry. Tonight I'm telling myself that I am not weak, for the emotional scars I wear. I am strong for overcoming them. And if all I need to do is sit on the floor and cry to relieve what I'm feeling, then I am a stronger person than I have ever realized, until now. I won't be ashamed to have these feelings, instead I will be happy that I can still feel.

Has enough basic survival skills and badass magic to literally disappear to the middle of nowhere and flourish AND figure out Voldemort’s plot with Harry

Hermione also figures out not only what Voldemort’s plan is, but generally how to beat it, WAY BEFORE VOLDEMORT EVER DOES. Why? because she is just that much smarter and better at magic than everybody else

in conclusion: Voldemort wishes he could be as awesome as Hermione, that’s why he wants to kill her so bad.

He has actually attempted it to close it repeatedly but fails to get to the funds to actually move the prisoners. Senate has refused multiple times since his call to action in 2008- which surprisingly, enough was a very unpopular decision. Along with that, no country has taken responsibility of the prisoners and most have refused to accept them.

You understand that Obama can’t just go lock the doors and tell all of the prisoners to come live with him or something, right? You understand that Presidential power is actually very limited in domestic matters and Guantanamo Bay is a domestic matter.

There is a systemic problem with today’s law enforcement. Not surprisingly, big government has been at the heart of the problem. Washington has incentivized the militarization of local police precincts by using federal dollars to help municipal governments build what are essentially small armies—where police departments compete to acquire military gear that goes far beyond what most of Americans think of as law enforcement. This is usually done in the name of fighting the war on drugs or terrorism. The Heritage Foundation’s Evan Bernick wrote in 2013 that, “the Department of Homeland Security has handed out anti-terrorism grants to cities and towns across the country, enabling them to buy armored vehicles, guns, armor, aircraft, and other equipment.” […] When you couple this militarization of law enforcement with an erosion of civil liberties and due process that allows the police to become judge and jury—national security letters, no-knock searches, broad general warrants, pre-conviction forfeiture—we begin to have a very serious problem on our hands. Anyone who thinks that race does not still, even if inadvertently, skew the application of criminal justice in this country is just not paying close enough attention. Our prisons are full of black and brown men and women who are serving inappropriately long and harsh sentences for non-violent mistakes in their youth. The militarization of our law enforcement is due to an unprecedented expansion of government power in this realm. It is one thing for federal officials to work in conjunction with local authorities to reduce or solve crime. It is quite another for them to subsidize it. Americans must never sacrifice their liberty for an illusive and dangerous, or false, security. This has been a cause I have championed for years, and one that is at a near-crisis point in our country.

Then you write a better book, it's not nearly as easy as you think. Try writing something that isn't going to offend anyone. Stop bitching about a author who clearly knows how to write, even if he has different opinions than you. At least he has some talent.
