Details of the Kallina House, ZGB, August 2018 The Kallina House is located on the corner of Masarykova and Gundulićeva streets and is one of the finest examples of Secessionist-style architecture in Zagreb. It was built from 1903 to 1904 and designed by the Croatian architect Vjekoslav Bastl for the industrialist Josip Kallina. Inspired by the Majolika Haus in Vienna, it is entirely covered in decorative ceramic tiles, produced by Josip Kallina’s ceramics factory. photos by @zagrebist
