Valerie: Wardrobe â I chose to go with a vague medieval AU look for here here. I wanted to use a lot of bright colors from her casual outfit in the show. She will kick your ass and can wield a sword. Also she can rock red lipstick! (Watercolor painting)

Okay reblog if youâre an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary
People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someoneâs art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that canât possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.
Obviously donât feel bad for NOT adding a comment if youâre shy or just donât know what to say, but if thereâs something you would like to say about a drawing youâve liked enough to reblog, Iâm pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.
This applies to art, fic, dumb theories, whatever! I totally love reading tags and commentary!
Definitely re-emphasizing that ALL reblogs, likes, etc are awesome! So donât feel bad/feel obligated to add something if you donât want to, but donât hold back if you DO wanna add something because youâre worried itâs rude.
I once read someoneâs post saying âNEVER ADD A COMMENT WHEN YOU REBLOG SOMEONEâS WORK CAUSE YOUâRE TAKING ATTENTION AWAY FROM THEMâ and itâs what prevented me from doing so for a time, until I became a creator of stuff myself and I can say thatâs absolutely untrue. For one, Iâm not a five year old who needs all the attention to be on me all the time. For another, the fact that someone would take the time to sit down and put real effort into writing something, whether as a comment or in the tags, means so much to me and is the most inspiring. Finally, you have a voice too, and you have as much right to speak it as I do :)

OMG is this why people stopped leaving comments in the past few years? Iâm so hungry for comments! You donât have to put them in the tags, either. Feedback gives me so much more energy and motivation to make art than a silent âlikeâ and I crave it!

Some Fright Knight for side hoes week 2023! I was very tempted to try and draw what heâd look like under the the helmet.

Itâs 2023 and I still I canât believe Kara and Kon/Conner Kent never got to meet Martha Kent in Smallville even though they were both in the show. They deserved to get to know her. I just think about this a lot. Also hereâs a sketch of Kon and Kara. I still love Smallville so much to this day.
A few years ago I made this post about an AU where Danny is captured by the Guys in White and finds out that Danielle is also in the same facility. Itâs a lot of angst with a happy ending.
Today I felt the urge to draw something from this AU story I am currently still kinda writing dubbed âThe Facilityâ for now. Iâve havenât written much. Just a few interactions really but if anyone has any ideas Iâm open to hearing them out. I just have a lot of emotions about this. The story text is a lot of an outsiderâs POV mixed with Dannyâs but the comic is from Dannyâs POV because that felt much more natural.

If youâre wondering why Danielle is crying itâs because she has a lot of fears and experience around experimentation and sheâs feeling immense relief after seeing Danny (someone she can feel safe around) after so much time anticipating the worst. Iâm a sucker for them having a brother sister bond and for Danielle/Ellie to look up to Danny and also Danny being protective over those he cares about. I almost want Jazz to be able to get a phone call into where Danny is being held and for her to get to also hear Danielle for the first time through that. Thatâs even more reason and motivation for the family to bring down the GIW. Jazz somehow manages to get a social worker/psychiatrist to get in there to evaluate Danny for release and advocate for his right to his own half-life btw. That person (she is outsider POV) is one of the reasons the GIW is forced to treat Danny semi humanely and even allows him to meet Danielle face to face while under their watch.
This scene is the first I wrote in the story. It represents a change for Dannyâs attitude now as he had been very (justifiably) confrontational with his captors but now knows that thereâs more at stake then just his life. He also has someone like him he needs to protect from the GIW, the organization that is just waiting for someone to declare that he and now Danielle are just not human enough so they can be experimented on. So far they mostly just did surface level tests and are forced to where inhibitor collars and wrist cuffs.

I saw the Sonic Frontier Prologue animated short today and wow the animation was so good. Sky Sanctuary looked so pretty! Iâm so excited and wow seeing Knuckles like this put a smile on my face :)

Trying out some things as I learn how to use the tablet. So one of the first things I drew was Danny and his skeleton.
I love that Danny actually cares about his clone and doesnât make Dani/Ellie feel bad for who she is or where she came from. I like to believe Jazz and Danny take care of their new sister. đ

So Sonic has been on my mind because I finally watched both sonic movies and wow I loved them. I havenât really paid any attention to sonic since I was really young but now Iâm on board with Sonic. The movies were just so likable and now Iâm attached to these characters. Hereâs my attempt at drawing the team sonic trio. Iâm not used to drawing cartoon animals so I thought Iâd do realistic versions. It was really fun to try out. (Pencil and watercolor) I was so happy seeing Knuckles and Tails! Theyâre both so cute. Please accept this offering of fanart! Hehe
Hereâs first attempt on a proper art tablet with a screen. I just borrowed someoneâs iPad.
