Teasers of a self-project. With how much waste the fashion industry creates as a whole, I started thinking of ways to reduce waste in my creations. Not a lot one person can do, but it's better than nothing. All of these squares are scraps gifted to me by @fairetreasures when she makes her skirts. After I nailed down the pattern I wanted, it took a bit of time, but it worked out! #silkbaron swatches came in today! I already had the onyx and arctic white swatches from a previous order so that yardage was a no brainer. I really need to get more blues before I make up my mind for what I want to male into skirts. The greys look so different in person too! Will likely get more of them to plan out our ghost garb. More food shots since this place swept me away with how tasty everything was. I got a bison burger, a favorite of mine that I hadn't bitten into in over 10 years. . . . After taking the shot of me and the guys, I gawked at the photo for a moment. It's been so long since I've been able to smile like this, or eat with confidence. I know a lot of that sounds weird but this has been a long ride for me. April 2018, a lot of y'all donated to a YouCaring to help with my dental procedures, and some paid for commissions to help me save up. September 2018, I was finally able to take all of that money alongside some of my savings and a loan to get the process started. I finally got my permanents on October 24th, but it's definitely taken some getting used to. Two weeks in to wearing them, I feel normal when I talk, eat, and smile. Nearly a landslide! One person voted for "brand", but everyone else echoed "handmade"! Second picture is a preview of what y'all chose.
