As a struggling freelance artist that heavily relies on conventions to meet financial needs, winter is a really tough dry patch for me to get through. I really need your help!

I have been basically living paycheck to paycheck, with many ups and downs, for the last couple months since two big freelance projects fell through. I took a toll when I had to take my cat to the vet & was ready to sell a kidney when I found out I needed glasses that cost over $350. I’m currently in a position where I can’t afford to pay for artist alley tables & I really need to pay rent & taxes.

I went out for Korean BBQ with my family and friends today. My sister came back from her trip to Cabos, and she brought back a bottled souvenir. Usually we would order the All You Can Eat deal but we decided to try the normal menu for a change instead. I can't believe everything was over $10.. （´＿ゝ｀）

I got the Bi Bim Bap, but there were too many veggies to my liking. Maybe I should've got something else.. My brother's kimchii fried rice looked pretty good...( ಠ q ಠ )

It's back to the grind tonight. I'm going to try to stay awake with some choco coffee beans I found in my junk stash. ;>
