Better Late Than Never #1 (Appreciation Post)
I know Crazy ex-girlfriend has ended about 3 years ago, but here's my 'better late than never' appreciation post anyways;
1.) It's a Musical Drama with a lot number of songs. Thank God, I'm a big fan of musical!
2.) Great Cast Ensemble - each cast are perfectly casted in this show. It's a shame that Santiano (Grey) have to leave that early. Most of his songs are my favorites. Oh, well - a man gotta do what a man gotta do, right?
3.) Third time is a Charm - who says the third guy (Nathaniel Plimpton III) have to be a dud? Mike brings a different kind of energy the moment he showed up. In many ways, I think he's the reason why the show still could go on after Santiano left.
4.) Rachel Bloom - a tiny gal with a brimming of talent. I fall in love with Rachel/Rebecca acting and character the moment she stepped in. Such a versatile actress who can sing, act, and perhaps dance too.
5.) Mental Health Awareness - can't believe that this show actually touches about mental health in a way that is so subtle but transparent as a day. And there wasn't a hint of pretense/woke at it too. Everything just grows organically and made me realize the MC motivation on why she did what she did the way she did it.
