The Pharisee’s thoughts were “ this woman is a sinner, does he even know who’s touching him”

The woman caught in the act of adultery. Jesus: he who is without sin, cast the first stone. Even with the Samaritan woman at the well.

Jesus was an embodiment of LOVE. Forgiveness and mercy.

We instantly want to point out people’s sin. Forgetting where we come from.

Hey sister, question? I absolutely hate, and I mean hate the month of June because of Pride. I don’t like seeing it everywhere, degeneracy and deviant behavior gets louder and boisterous and it’s honestly just gross. How do I take it in stride this year?

just ignore it, i do it every year. i just think of june as my birth month, the start of summer, the halfway point of the year, the month of sunflowers and longer days and father's day and picnics outdoors and warm weather. it's a pretty great month 💛

I think also…a perspective change would be good for this person…if you are so passionate about how wrong it all is, you should be moved to be compassionate toward the people involved. The people influenced. the people that are literally bound. Your heart should be wrecked by that, as Jesus was with the woman caught in adultery. Your own sin is/was also gross and boisterous etc etc. And your received mercy and compassion. Pray for the same for them, for freedom.
