at the same intensity as svt, i stan bts. but i also stan nct, though much more casually!

i have written for bts before but it was mostly just stuff for my friends to read. maybe in the future, if i think something up that fits the group/members i'll write it out for sure.

for now though, i have my hands (and head) full of the man of the match universe. so if you've enjoyed raise the stakes pt. 1 or hat trick!, more of the diamonds' love lives are going to be revealed!

who is jihae’s brother?? there’s no name and I’m not sure if he’s even relevant to the story but I’m wondering if he’s a svt member? where is he and what is he doing?

P.S shoutout to ddalgi for just existing cause he’s a good boi and can do no wrong

unfortunately, jiae's brother isn't really a character of much consequence though i do envision a part for him to play much later in hoshi and jiae's story.

similar to jiae, he's just a regular employee and has a family of his own, hence he no longer lives in the Cho household!

I am absolutely OBSESSED with raise the stakes!hoshi!!!! he is definitely raising the stakes for fictional hoshis around the world

the setting of the story is magical and I’m absolutely in love with their chemistry!! can’t wait to read the next part to fill the hoshi shaped hole this fic has left in my heart 😩

While I don't think anyone on the team would outright challenge Soonyoung, especially with him as the captain, this is a really cool idea to explore!!

ur fiction is perfect enough to blow my mind, people who write about soonyoung can't really feel the 'character' for the most part, but you're incredible, i felt that soonyoung. his shame, his joy, his feelings i love every detail

i hope this fic lasts like 25 parts because i will read it without getting bored. thank you for writing such a wonderful fiction for us at length

i was soooo overwhelmed with joy when i read this message that i had to gush about it to my friend before i could even come up with a response.

i felt really strongly about how i wanted to portray soonyoung in this fic because he is my ult of ults. while i don't think i got him right 100% of the time, i'm really glad you loved how i wrote him!!

while raise the stakes is only two parts, i don't think i'll be able to let go of this couple any time soon 😭🤍 they'll surely have silly little extras and features in other couples' stories!

just finished reading raise the stakes pt. 1 and it’s sooooo soooo good oh my god!!!! some of their worries are so relatable I might or might not have shed a tear or two lol also I loooove the slow burn and the whole teenage crushes to friends to lovers development!!!! just [chef’s kiss]. can’t believe there’s even a pt. 2 in the works, feeling so blessed so moved rn. i'm glad i managed to be relatable when it came to the things that worried them. while i was writing raise the stakes pt. 1, some of the characters' worries were my own. 🥹

also -- i feel like i wasn't reading as many fics wherein the characters were their actual ages or even close, so it was super important for me that i did that for the man of the match au.
