What do I make?

I make 3D models, digital art, and even paint sometimes (oil paint is my goat bro I’m tweaking).

How did you get into the backrooms (lore wise)? Apologies if this has already been asked, I'm just starting out and would appreciate some advice!!

When it comes to getting into the backrooms, what I’d really suggest is picking a specific entity group, human group, or level and just going from there.

The way I got into the backrooms was through Escape the Backrooms. From there I picked a few entities to look into, this being Bone thiefs, Smilers, and most importantly Partygoers. After looking into the three, I found out about the community behind the backrooms, stayed in the shadows making Fun related content for a few years, and now we’re here.

Now if you were to ask me what adaptation of the backrooms is really worth looking into, Kane Pixels version is EXTREMELY fleshed out and has minimal amounts of entities, levels, and characters so it’s easier to understand. Or what you could also do is go around looking at a couple wikis (I’d recommend fandom and freewrite, not wikidot bc that shits been edited to high hell and also kinda sucks now imo) and make your own adaptation like I did! There’s also some explanation videos on YouTube, but a lot of those have outdated information so I wouldn’t recommend that.

For some of your backrooms doodles and finished pieces HOW do you do that lighting?? It’s genuinely so pretty with the glow and airbrush looking shading

Bloom tool, light airbrush, and overlay layers. For overlay layers I’d recommend just messing around and figuring out how things work with each color. Also add tints to color pallets for specific characters. Like how Sammy has a green tint and John has a red tint. Make the color correlate to the characters. Also just messing around with blend modes as a whole will help.
