Hear me out. “Barnacle Boat” wasn’t CBF itself, but instead being possessed in some form by it and the “full body suit” was some permanent result of said possession. Maybe CBF was also following Puppet!Ghost and went ahead and made some sort of deal with BB .? Maybe like. Invincibility to whatever infection was in that city in exchange for fucking around with Ghost for revenge for “leaving” or something THE LAST PART IS KINDA A STRETCH I KNOW but fun idea anyway
