“It doesn’t matter to you at all?” His words were filled with disbelief, and he felt as though he was only imagining Ishimaru speaking those words. There was no way that this guy…could actually be completely serious. “But…”

He paused.

You’ve always wanted to be treated as an equal. Why are you turning this treatment down now? Just accept his words as his sincere opinions. …Why is it so difficult?

“…Even if I don’t like bullying,” Hinata says, shifting to another topic with an uneasy tension in his voice, “there are many worse things that you can do to a person.”

He gave a slight huff, were all reserve students this hard to make friends with. He hasn’t done anything at all to him. Looks like the scars run to deep. He can’t imagine what Hinata had been through. “It really doesn’t honestly!” He looked at him with a serious expression when he said there were worst things. “What kind of things are you thinking of?”

“You dont look it…. you seem jumpy.” He was worried something happened while he was gone. “did something happen?”

“Sorry Kyoudai. I read your journal.” He covered his face ashamed and really flattered.

“That felt great.” He talked out with a towel around his shoulders and in his lazy clothes. “Is something wrong?” He noticed how red he was.

He got startled there. “Nothing! Nothing is wrong everything is fine!” He laughed a bit nervous.

In the diary it expressed how Mondo felt about Taka, but his fear of rejection if he tried to express it. While also stating that he would be okay with keeping it hidden as long a he got to spend time with him and be his friend.

Soon the shower turned off signaling that his shower was finished.

He just zoomed back to the living room and sat on the couch with his face completely red. He wasn’t embarrassed, he was honestly happy, ‘He likes me too!’ He thought.

“Okay, I’ll try to make it quick, just make yourself at home and relax.” Mondo went to his room to grab a change of clothes and headed to the bathroom, leaving the bedroom door open by accident.

He didn’t want to and it was tempting, but he went into Mondo’s bedroom. It was okay, yet he saw a book on the dresser and he picked it up thinking it was a regular book. Then when he closer inspect it and read it, it was Mondo’s diary. He wanted to stop, but couldn’t, he saw things about Mondo’s brother he told him about before then he saw things that revealed that Mondo felt alone before he met him and Chihiro. But, one thing stood out. Pages about him and how Mondo felt.

“I was going to hop in but I lost track of time before you got here.” He had to admit it was adorable to see Chuck on his lap like that. “Chuck really likes you.”

“He really is cute and friendly! I’m glad he sees me as a friend!” He pet Chuck gently. “I’ll watch him.Plus we have three days go shower, I’ll be fine.”

“Yeah I’m good, did a small work out before you got here that’s all.” He caught his breath and smiled,excited to spend some time with Taka. “I pulled out a few snacks and movies to watch or we can do something else.”

“Shouldn’t you shower first before we do anything Kyoudai?” He really didn’t want Mondo to feel all sticky and everything while they were relaxing. He also was on the couch with Chuck on his lap now.

Chuck started barking at the door once the bell rang and Mondo answered, wearing only his undershirt and he was slightly sweaty from trying to quickly clean up his place. “Hey there Taka!”

“You look absolutely exhausted. What were you doing Kyoudai?” He looked down and saw Chuck. “Hello there! You must be Chuck! I heard a lot about you!” He started petting the dog smiling.

“Yeah that sounds good. I’ve got to go make sure Chuck didn’t make too big of a mess so I’ll see you later.” Mondo quickly headed home to clean everything up, he didn’t want Kyotaka to see him as a slob.

Hours Later Kiyotaka showed up exactly when he said he’s coming and where Mondo told him to go. He was dressed more casual like though. He didn’t want Mondo to think he was too strict even outside of school

‘Okay Taka, you’re okay. Just steel you nerves and ring the doorbell. It’s not that hard.’ He thought to himself and with a shaky hand he went and rang the door bell.

That caught him off guard his house was a complete mess from auto parts that he used. “Uh, sure I’ll have to clean a few things up first but just let me know when you want to come over.” That was a complete understatement.

“How about I call you when I’m on my way?” He still had to pack his stuff for the weekend after all. Plus Mondo looked slightly panicked at the moment. Was his house indecent?

“I’d never laugh at you over something like that. I’d be happy to stay the night with you.” His heart leaped for joy but he tried to keep his cool, thinking it was just as friends. “What time should I come over? Did you want me to bring anything with me? Food, movies, anything?”

“Actually, I was hoping we could stay at your house? We always go to my home and I really can not say I ever been to you home before. That and I want to meet Chuck.” Mondo always did speak highly of his dog and maybe this weekend Taka would be able to meet him.

“Okay, if you say so.” He grinned. “But seriously if anyone messes with you I will get them. Anyway what did you want to do?” He was serious he would fight anyone if they messed with him.

He started blushing starting to get embarrassed honestly. “W-Well I feel like I can tell you this without laughing at me but, I’ve never been to a sleepover before so I was wondering if we can have one?”

“Yeah I’m free, why do you ask? Did you want to hang out?” Something felt off with how Kyotaka was talking. “Are you feeling okay? Do I need to rough someone up for you?”

“N-Now now there’s no need for violence Kyoudai! I just have things on my mind is all! No need to worry!” He was laughing a bit. He was messing up badly right now. Usually he wasn’t like this around Mondo at all. “Yes, I do want to hang out with you.”
