Just an update on my battle. My treatments continue, and while we had some bad news this week, we are taking it in stride. My faith is strong, and the medical team is experienced. I am a fighter.

This weekend we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this experiment we call America. Men and women who put on the uniform and died for the rights and privileges we often take for granted. We remember the spouses, children, parents, and siblings they left behind. Our republic relies on activism, democratic participation, and civic leadership; all of which are possible because of the great sacrifices of our men and women in uniform. We owe them our reverence, respect, and our drive to carry on the legacy they leave behind.
