if himeko goes inside her playroom, she will see a large brand new doll ─ house based on their house. every room looking basically like it's real ─ life counterpart with dolls based on her family sitting around the dining room table with a birthday cake and a happy birthday sign and other decorations that the fact it is almost christmas.
As instructed by her mother, Himeko slowly walked to her playroom, pajamas still on. For some reason, it was closed. It was never closed, so why now? Unless something was waiting in there for her… Which would make sense since she had yet to find her mother and father’s present for her birthday.
Arms reached above the child’s head, her tiny hands latching onto the doorknob. Turning it, Himeko opened the door, an audible gasp leaving her lips.
In front of her was a gigantic dollhouse (well, gigantic in terms to Himeko.), an exact replica of her household. Running over, she plopped her butt down across from the present and inspected it more. Tiny doll version of her family was surrounding the table, all in a circle. There even was a Momoko hanging off of both her brother and sister’s arm! And just off to the side, there was a tiny Mikan doll posed to be tripping over a rug.
On the toy table, there looked to be a large cake, covered in all kinds of toppings. Strawberries, sprinkles, little dollops of frosting and something special in the middle. In the middle of the cake was a rectangle of pink fondant, with the words engraved:
”Happy Birthday Himeko-chan!”Himeko could feel tears trying to form in her eyes. The sheer amount of detail, the little dolls of her whole family, all of it made her want to cry in joy. But this was a happy time, no tears needed to be shed. Sniffling, Himeko got up and ran into the living room.
In the room was her father and her uncles sitting down on the couches. but no sign of her mom once again. That was, until Himeko spotted a small bit of pink. And the smell of fresh coffee.
Finding her target, she ran toward her mother holding a cup of coffee and attacked her with a hug, her small arms wrapping tightly around the model’s waist, face snuggling into her side.
“Thank you so much, mommy! Himeko loves it!”
