Beatrice: i've got so many sushis i think imma explode
“If I read anymore pages in this textbook, my brain will burst into flames,” Ana sighed as she looked up. “I need a large coffee, how about you?” The blonde looked at the person in front of her with a smile.
“I am definitely not someone who needs coffee. It gets me so excited and you could say you don’t want that. I already talk enough as it is.” Beatrice said before letting a smile spread on her lips. “But if you’re going to Starbucks, I am so going with you. I need one of those red velvet cupcakes.”
“Maybe. Have you seen any worthy of actually watching because they’re usually pretty shitty?” Clover asked, sweeping her eyes up at the girl. “Huh. That’s weird. I grew up here as well. You’d have thought that we would’ve ran into each other by now, huh?”
“They always are shitty. I believe that’s what makes them good.” Bea replied before her face twisted in a thoughtful frown, staring at the girl intensely. “Maybe we did meet. Like, ages ago. That could be possible, right? Could explain why you think you know me.”
Mackenzie was in a sort of a panic. Their long locks swept in front of their face as she walked faster, hastily looking around. Mackenzie was trying to find her class but felt like a cliche as she searched the halls not being able to find the room of her first class. They felt their brow started to sweat as they looked at their watch that read 10:05am. Her class started at 10am and she was already late. “Fucking hell!” Mackenzie swore loudly. They hadn’t realized someone was standing behind them and just assumed everyone was in class.
Classes had only just started and Beatrice already felt the need to skip them. 10am was definitely too early for her. She was on her way over there when she decided it’d be better to just not show up. But she couldn’t just head back at the apartment now that she was there. There were still quite a few places of Atticus she had never seen, and decided it was the perfect day to explore them. Which lead her to awkwardly stand behind someone else, who seemed upset about something. “Anything wrong?” She asked the other person, not even sure they had noticed her presence.
“You’d be surprised what kind of things you could get from me with a single brownie.”
“I suppose this is important information. I’ll keep that in mind if I ever need something from you.”

Theo: Want me to bring them to you?
Bea: that'd be absolutely lovely of you!
“Unfortunately, I don’t save pictures that I deem too disappointing, why see something so painful more than once?” He said with a small chuckle. “Of course, I saw a pair of Jimmy Choo’s that only I could pull off, alas, I won’t, though.” Levi glanced to her hand briefly for a moment, taking his time before offering his own to greet. “You too, Beatrice.”
“That’s a valid reason. But sometimes they’re useful when you want a good laugh.” She agreed with a small nod. “Why wouldn’t you? I’m all about doing whatever you want, and if you want to rock them, just do it.” After shaking his hand, Beatrice drew her hand back, only to tap her fingertips on the table briefly.
“He said if you get me a brownie, he’ll consider letting you go.”
“I never thought my life would be safe because of a brownie. And only one! That’s a low price to stay alive.”

Theo: Did you leave your keys near Prof. Oaks classroom?
Bea: OMG YES! Do you have them with you rn?
Bea: I'm currently locked out of my apartment, they'd be really useful
― The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) Chris: Don’t ever let somebody tell you that you can’t do something. You got a dream, you gotta protect it. When people can’t do something themselves, they’re gonna tell you that you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.
Ronan winced, the cigarette he’d been attempting to light falling from his lips as somebody collided with the bruise covering one side of his torso. It was still a horrifying shade of purple after almost an entire week. If it weren’t for the fact it was starting to turn green and yellow at the edges, he might have started to contemplate having a doctor check out his ribs. Or at least show it to Tessa. He’d been keeping it hidden from her even as she put other pieces of him back together. “It’s cool.” He frowned down at the girl talking a mile a minute. He was unsure of why she sounded upset to see him, until he got a better look at her face. It was a girl he’d hook up with at a house party a couple months back. No. A girl he almost hooked up with. She’d bolted from his car before anything really good could happen. He would have been annoyed about being left alone, if she hadn’t looked so freaked out. Ronan had figured that she’d been scared off by his cuts and bruises from boxing. It wouldn’t be the first time. The evidence of his violence made some people nervous. He didn’t hold it against them. Of course, he was having a hard time remembering her name. The night they’d nearly spent together was shortly after Ariella had broken up with him. Those following couple of weeks were a haze of drugs, alcohol, and women. A brokenhearted cliche. “Wait. Listen. I, uh, I’m sorry if I made you feel… uncomfortable.”
For a moment, she was back in that car, and her instincts were screaming her to run away as far and fast as she could. But she wasn’t, she was standing right in the middle of a normal hallway. Her eyes stared blankly at him while her mind processed her words. “Uh, no. No no no. It’s not, it’s definitely not your fault.” The words left in a mess, quickly shaking her head to support her words. The scene playing back in her mind gave her no reason to think he had done anything. Despite her very small experience in the matter, she even thought he was somehow gentle. “I just... I remembered I had... something. Like, an appointment, uh, in the morning? And it was late so... I went back home and I just, well, I went to bed.” Her eyes looked up at him once she was done, hoping her lie was somehow believable. She wasn't the best liar around, it was obvious, but she found no other way to sneak her way out of it. "You're not... weren't uncomfortable. Not at all."
“Nothing like parody cinema to bring folks together,” Clover joked quietly, glancing over at the girl and giving her more of her attention. “Maybe. It is rather distinct,” she mumbled, brows pulling together as she tried to rack her brain of other voices she’d heard. “Are you new?”
“Well, we should definitely watch some parodies to bond over.” Bea grinned, letting out a light laugh. “Is this a compliment or?” Her head shook quickly but strongly at the question. “Surely not new! I’m actually pure Ithaca breed, born and raised in what I call Satan’s pitfall.”
“I don’t think you can. He wants to end you now.”
“Oh shit. Well, if this is my last moment, I give you everything I own.”
Boyd shifted to peer down at her shoes and shrugged. “I think heels are pretty impressive. And they’re also pretty. Like it’s a miracle they don’t break more often. Sorry you’re aching though. It’s like you’re getting a workout without ever hitting the gym wearing those, huh.”
“You’re one of the first guys I hear admit heels are pretty. Usually they just remind me how idiotic it is to walk in those. Which I agree with.” She said before giving a small shrug. “If I had to pick, I’d wear heels over the gym. I hate that place.”
