Well, it looks like the girls up and left. He's not really sure how to feel about it. At least Daisuke was still here, though.

Speaking of him, it's been awhile since TK checked up on him. Patamon and V-mon were overdue for a playdate, so now's as good a time as any to swing by.

This time of year, not many people were visiting the parks. Probably because of the cold. TK preferred it like this, honestly— it was much quieter than going to a cafe and a lot closer than the library. Provided a needed change of pace from his room, too, for when he wanted to focus on writing but both himself and his partner needed some fresh air.

Said Digimon quickly grew rather bored though, silently sitting beside TK, despite how pleasant each other's company was. The boy was quick to notice this, of course. "Hey, Patamon. Don't go too far okay?" Implicit permission to go exploring— and the usual request to not go too far.

With a delighted squeal, Patamon hops off the bench and happily flies off in a random direction. It's after a couple moments of aimlessly flying around that the Digimon spots them— another small critter like himself! It looked a lot like another Digimon, actually, though he couldn't recognize the species.

There were a lot of Digimon, after all! It was impossible to keep track of all of them.

Patamon lands on a low-hanging branch, a safe distance away in case this Digimon (?) ends up being hostile. "Hello, hi! Who are you? I'm Patamon!" Patamon chirps, waving one of his stubby little legs in greeting.

okay. i think to kick the tk muse back into gear i gotta start with something fresh first!!! i'm still planning on catching up w/ old threads but i really feel like smth new will help. >:]

He knew it was rude to stare but the creature did bump into him first, causing the two to tumble on over. And as Ludger stared at it with a blank expression he tried to figure out just what the creature was. It couldn't be a monster that was hostile considering nobody else around was freaking out. If anything it just looked like a bigger cat.

...Well a cat with wings. In a weird way that is.

"Did you see something that spooked you? Or well I guess I should ask if you got an owner around here." If he had to start adopting any animal that he came across the condo room was going to become a big old animal hotel within the next few weeks.

Patamon was more comparable to some sort of rodent than a cat, really. If rodents came in the size of your average cat, that is. It actually outright giggles, not even the slightest bit sheepish as it sniffs at the stranger. "Sorry for knocking you over, mister! I wasn't looking at where I was going." The little creature grins, before a young boy that must be his owner finally rounds the corner and catches up.

"Patamon! You really got to stop flying off like that..." Said Digimon is promptly plucked off the man and tucked under one arm, while he offers a hand to help the guy back on his feet. "I'm so sorry about them. You okay?"

Miyako had been looking at the map on her phone when Patamon's voice reached her ears. Looking up just in time, she held her arms open with a wide grin to catch the small, flying digimon.

"Hello to you too, Patamon," she said, holding him gently as Hawkmon waved to Takeru.

"We arrived here about two or three weeks ago, I believe," he said, answering for his partner who was currently busy with Patamon.

When Miyako finally shifted her attention to her fellow chosen, her expression was one of surprise. It seemed that Takeru was the same as Daisuke, which made her wonder if both were taken from the same period of time.

"It seems like gang's coming together," she said, surprisingly keeping to herself what she actually wanted to say, for once. "How have you been?"

Patamon doesn't seem to care about the jarring age discrepancies in their friends. He's content just being held, the big ham. TK has decided that he won't, either, if only because stressing about it won't really... solve or change anything. So what if Miyako and Hikari are grown-ups now? It wasn't the weirdest thing to have happened, by far. It didn't have to mean anything.

"Oh, wow, you've been here that long already... We've been alright! It's honestly kinda cool, having a place basically to ourselves. What about you? What have you guys been up to?"

"Yo! Think fast!" The gift box was tossed at Takeru, though, not hard as to not damage the contents of whatever was in the giftbox. "If you thought you were getting excluded from any exchanges, you'd be wrong."

"Can't forget Patamon!!" A santa dressed V-mon exclaimed, pulling out an accordingly labeled gift bag for the digimon! As with all the other gifts with the digimon, Patamon's gift bag was also filled with snacks and other small goodies.

TK does catch it! (Because of course he does.) "Oh! Thank you Daisuke." He's absolutely going to open that box, like, immediately. Meanwhile Patamon is going to assume the role of a living vacuum and scarf down so many of those yummy snacks.
