I just wanted to cover the J League stuff again now that we have better examples of the merch that'll be sold. (The first 50,000 attendees get a complimentary eco bag, but there'll be keychains, T-shirts, and team towels too! Goods will only be available for the home teams.)

Hasbro will release a Pokemon version of the game "Guess Who?" in August!

For UNITE's 5th Anniversary, they're giving away a selectable, free Holowear. It doesn't work properly on mobile, so it's advisable to use the Switch version of the game.

The Pokemon Horizons tie-in with Pokemon Sleep has been announced, with the episode airing Aug21, and the event running between Aug17-Aug24. Pikachu will have a Captain's hat and Tinkatink and its Evos will be available! The Expert version of Cyan Beach will also release Aug10.

So, perhaps Kyo didn't mean for Souji to drop off the cliff, and had been blaming himself for his "death" this whole time? Plus, probably the deaths of his previous family since they had become a target?

The dickhead is back! (He did give Tomoro a hint about Genjo, but I wonder how forthcoming he'll be about Souji.)

(also, just imagine how annoying it is for the kids to hear "oh I almost put a bounty on you guys too" when they were sleeping and woke up their lives being completely upended 😵‍💫)

Confirmation that Kyo never had a family to begin with, since he was a victim of the Kano Island Vanishing Incident too.

The kids learn about who prompted Kyo's sudden and violent personality shift from the Kinoko gang, who saw that entire thing. Surprise MVPs this episode 🙂‍↕️

And their resolve towards getting Kyo back. They're not going to let him face his past demons alone!

Kyo can't even meet Reina's gaze when he says their family is over.

Also, Kanchi continuing to be suspicious, watching all of this go down and smirking. (He could have told Souji about Kyo's new family. He already seemed pretty harsh towards Tomoro during Miharu's arc, which while that at the time seemed to be because she was becoming interested with him despite Tomoro opposing their plans, this arc implies he was using her and Mephistomon for the White Core.)

Now who do we also know with a weird kinda-vendetta towards Tomoro and who had knowledge on the White Core?

I feel like after this arc, even if Kyo is doing all this to protect them from Souji and from meeting the fates of his first family, that it's probably gonna take a bit for Reina especially to get past this. That sting of betrayal still is pretty real, especially since, of the kids, she seemed the tightest with him.

The shock on Kyo's face when he realized just why Souji had Lilamon.

Oh, yep. I was right. Souji definitely murdered Kyo's previous family to provoke him into fighting him, and is willing to take everything from Kyo again if need be. (It seems the one who gave Kyo the bracelet was even still school age, since she's wearing a uniform.)

Since Rose actually wasn't murdered, I do hope Lilamon retains enough of her consciousness to not completely burn thru her partner's e-Pulse. (Especially since the White Core provides limitless e-Pulse.)

Even back then, Kyo had some standards. He might've been ruthless towards opposing Digimon and okay with deleting them, but still valued his partnership with Cougarmon.

Souji must be a real piece of work if Wong of all people had erased all traces of his identity.

(God, tho, probably because Kyo is the only man that made Souji "feel something", him going on and on about his thirst, the fact he's just running around in a harness, the implications he killed Kyo's first adopted family to try to get Kyo's undivided attention, and him getting all up in Kyo's face and personal space, he is not helping the "Kyo's big fucked-up harem" allegations.)
