No one really knew what was going on. One minute, Kashima was running away from flying props, the next minute, she ended up tripping and falling down a few stairs. Hori heard her fall and gasped. Quickly, he made his way to the stairway, and saw Kashima holding on to the railing. She looked like she was in pain. However, luckily she was able to grab on to the railing before she went down after the fifth step.
"Kashima! Are you ok?!" Hori asked, worried. He didn't mean for this to happen. He was just yelling and chasing her for being late to practice again, like usual. She groaned in pain a little, but still looked up at him. Sitting down on the stair with her, Hori noticed that her ankle was swelling out, and her left knee was scraped and dripping a little bit of blood. Other than the ankle, everything looked ok.
"Hori-senpai...my ankle really hurts," Kashima whimpered out, tears of pain making their way to her eyes. Hori looked sadly at her, and cupped her face, wiping the tears away with his thumbs. She sniffed, and leaned into his touch. Smiling sadly, Hori looked around, and tried to think of a way to get Kashima to the nurse without causing her anymore pain than what she is in now.
"Kashima, can you stand?" Hori asked her, watching her struggling to lift herself up. Once they were both somewhat standing, Kashima tried to put weight on her ankle, but ended up hissing and pain, and lifting it off the ground. Hori bit his lip. "Her ankle is in worse off condition than I thought," he thought.
"Senpai...I can't put pressure on it," Kashima groaned, holding onto the railing with a death grip. She sighed and tried to think about how to get up the stairs without hurting herself, and her senpai. The last thing she wanted was to hurt her senpai too. When Hori made a noise, she glanced at him and saw that he had an idea. "Senpai? What are you thinking?" she asked.
Glancing at Kashima, Hori wrapped his arms around her waist, and carefully lifted her up. Squeaking, Kashima held onto his arms as Hori made his way carefully up the stairs. Once they were on level ground, and away from the stairs, Hori put her down, but still had a hold on her to balance her. Keeping her one ankle in the air, Kashima noticed Hori getting in front of her. "Kashima, get on my back, I am going to take you to the nurse," Hori said, leaving no room for an argument. Kashima blinked, like she had no idea what just came out of her senpai's mouth.
"Sorry Hori-senpai...but what?" she asked confused. Hori glanced back at her, and Kashima saw that he wasn't kidding. Swallowing nervously, Kashima wrapped her arms around Hori's neck, careful not to strangle him, and lightly jumped up. Hori wrapped his arms around her thighs, and realized that she wasn' very heavy. Smiling, Kashima laid her head down on Hori's shoulder, and closed her eyes.
"Kashima, don't get used to this!" Hori ranted, blushing slightly. "I am only doing this because you are hurt." When Hori felt a giggle from Kashima against his back, a small smile appeared on his face, and he sighed before continuing his walk to the nurse with a tired Kashima on his back.
