doing a Malevolent relisten (via the patreon eps) and god. I forget just how palpably inhuman The Entity (john💛) is from the get-go. I'm used to his fractured clawing for humanity and shyness to re-embrace his true nature but holy shit back in s1 he was just so clearly Different from the way he's so overtly sinister at the start to his skepticism of human things to his clearly different scale of time and life without ever fully admitting to not being a Person and honestly hats off to harlan's writing because it's hard to weave that in subtly
