Billy slowly and deliberately looked Tristan up and down, a smirk pulling on his lips. " You could at least offer to buy me a drink before stalking me." He countered, putting his luggage down. He had just been released from prison and was trying to figure out where to go. He somehow ended up in the hotel which seemed off to him. Something in it seemed almost familiar but he knew that couldn't be right. He had been locked up since '96. " You gonna check me in too? Follow me to my room?" He questioned, teasing a bit. " You're pretty but something tells me you're very aware of that."

"Well there is a bar upstairs." Tristan nodded. "Why don't we go and get one now." He chuckled. Tristan smirked. "Yeah, I am. I used to be a model, but I don't know. The people annoyed me. Always telling me what to, what do say and what to eat. Fucking annoying." He shook his head.

"I found something I liked better." He explained, heading towards the stairs. "Come on. Let me get you that drink. Then maybe we can talk about me following you to your room."

scout wondered what could possibly be the reason leah wouldn't come over. she knew the murder house had a reputation, hell that's why her parents bought it. it was an ideal spot for a funeral home, in their eyes. for scout it was just an excuse to get out of the shit hole mansion the were in before back home.

❝ try me. come on, you can trust me. ❞she gave leah a comforting smile, at least she hoped it was. she could tell something was up when leah initially told her story about her scar, scout didn't believe a word of it. something traumatic happened and she wanted to know.

❝ it's got something to do with why you won't come over. i know the house has a bad rep, but it's not that bad. i promise nothing bad will happen when you come over. ❞

Leah didn't talk to anyone about what had happened in that house. She couldn't. The only person she had ever been able to talk to about it was gone.

She sighed and opened her purse, pulling out her pack of cigarettes. She lit one and took a long drag. Her eyes met Scout's. "Look, there is an evil in that house." She admitted, her throat growing tight as she spoke.

"It attacked me and I know that Violet did not run off. She wouldn't. Not without telling me." Tears filled her eyes and she took another drag o f her cigarette.
