Alright um I gotta talk about it maybe this is a bit of a hottake but...

But am I the only one who doesnt like the "Rosalina is a relative of Peach or a decendend of the Mushroom Kingdom" theory?

I know that they wanted to explore that idea intially but scrapped it and Im kinda glad they did. I hope they dont do it in the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie either. It would ruin Rosalina as a character for me.

Because, I simply think its better when shes simply not some sort of relative and shes her own character unrelated to anyone else. We already have so many characters from the mushroom kingdom we dont need even more.

Rosalina stands strong on her own as the mysterious cosmic protector and mother of the lumas. Thats why her depiction in the original galaxy games will always be my favorite honestly. Tho it would be interesting to have a game or simply more stories about her.
