Summit of Col Du Galibier, France.Â
Col du Galibier
Roads Iâd like to ride: Col du Glandon in France photographed by the Col Collective.
Glandon.
2 days in the Southern Alps, 16âČ000 ft of climbing.Â
Jean-Christophe Peraudâs bandages looked strangely familiar at the this years tour.
Col de la Pierre St Martin
@ashleygruber took an incredible series of shots of @fabian_cancellara after he finished his time trial yesterday. The more I see them, the more I think that theyâre some of my all-time favorites. They also happen to be of one of our favorite riders. So happy to hear that Cancellara is in Yellow. The sport and everyone who loves bike racing will miss him when he retires - I hope he goes out with a huge bang the rest of this season and the next. #tdf2015
Iâm losing my identity as a peasant from Boyaca. I know this; Iâm traveling all over the world to races. But I have not forgotten the countryside. I have some cattle here and I have someone who takes care of them, and when Iâm finished with competitive cycling I will return to my roots. This is my region. This is where I am from, and this is where I would like to be.
Nairo Quintana
VICE Sports has the best pre-Tour profile of Nairo Quintana Iâve found so far. Their reporter actually went to Colombia to talk to Quintana, his family, and his neighbors.Â

I can't watch a replay of a British rider riding in a British velodrome

Team Sky mechanic Igor Turk prepares a Kemo bike loaned by Bretagne - Séché Environnement.
Race coach Shaun Stephens said;Â âThat was a really nice gesture from them and we appreciate it a lot. Things like that really show the spirit of cycling and we canât thank them enough... [o]ur climber Sebastian is going to be riding on that one today because itâs a sprint stage and weâve had to work with what sizes are available, and then CJ [Sutton] is probably going to ride it tomorrow.â
Henao finished 12 seconds back on GC on stage one, while Sutton came in 6âČ44âł down on stage 2, neither rider appears to have been penalised for using ânon-regulation assistanceâ
Amazing ride by Jurgen today
Went at this one really trying to illustrate the position battles throughout the race (check the Milan-Sanremo Recon Ride preview for more on why I think thatâs important). The production work on RAIâs side was actually a little sloppyâlots of untimely cuts, graphics floating over important sections of the pack, misapplied chyrons, etc. Fortunately, in spite of all that, the racing delivered. Â
Karma points to Lotto-Soudal for staying with Tinkoff rider Chris Juul-Jensenâwho most likely had a concussion after his crashâuntil medics arrived.
Glance once and youâll see the lipstick from the podium hostess. Look again and Degenkolb sheds a tear on the podium after winning Milan-Sanremo
