one of the main things I see for damara is people insisting that "she's saying it only because she knows the others (in their ignorance) don't understand her language"
however, the others still understand her enough to be unnerved on what they DO catch, especially the ones more familiar with her, since horuss reacts more like someone who's recognizing she's saying something vulgar and inappropriate
because meenah has even LESS of an understanding of what damara is saying, she takes things FURTHER and inappropriately touches (if not flat-out groping) meenah in a hug to GET the repulsed reaction she was wanting
I don't think that's on the same grounds as "saying inappropriate things without meaning", since sexually touching someone without their consent is sexual assault- surpassing harassment
meenah's in a position where she's faking being nice and tries to brush the incident off to try and get on her good side, which doesn't work (because damara rightfully keeps her grudge on their entire team for what they put her through)
who else has to brush a sexual incident off to get on her good side? rufioh, who she takes advantage of sexually while he FULLY understands her, making it another blatant instance of sexual harassment that's implied to lean towards assault, as he's going to be forced to uphold, since she doesn't even allow him to say any form of "no" to her, with her only taking it further and further
this is not someone enthusiastic about getting it on with her, this is someone who's caving to her after telling her no in different ways multiple times- she holds sex favors over him for romantically rejecting her, something she's doing with GENUINE intent, making her more of a predator compared to cronus
another thing I see people bring up to defend her is them saying that she's only acting out towards the other dancestors (alpha trolls) and her interactions with the humans make it apparent she's kind and well meaning...
however, she has a repeated pattern of going up to unconscious people with ill-intention, enough that terezi has to watch over karkat's unconscious body and threaten her away from him
for some reason, her interaction with karkat compared to mituna appears to be more sinister BOTH in how she reacts to seeing him unconscious AND how she responds to being told to stay away from him by terezi
