Character Introduction

Kirby: Gluttonous and full of energy. He can suck up opponents to copy and use their abilities.

King Dedede: Selfish and self-indulgent, he's the self-proclaimed king of Dream Land.

Bandana Waddle Dee: King Dedede's subordinate and Kirby's friend.

Chef Kawasaki: Owner of the most popular restaurant in Dream Land.

Waddle Dees: King Dedede's subordinates. They're hard workers and great cooks.

Whispy Woods: Lives in the forest of Dream Land. He produces a sweet and delicious red fruit.

Meta Knight: A swordsman who's shrouded in mystery. He always wears a mask.

Kirby and King Dedede have a showdown to see who can make the better café. With the help of Chef Kawasaki, Kirby challenges the king to a contest with Whispy Woods’s delicious fruity desserts!... but Whispy Woods has come down with a disease and has no fruit to offer. On top of that, while looking for medicine to treat the disease, Kirby and co. were put in a dire situation when, suddenly, Beetley and his pals attacked them! What the heck, which café will come out on top?!

Its time to begin our Pokedex journey!

... with another TCG redraw event!

I have a lofty goal to complete the entire Pokedex! Every Pokemon, every form! And I'll need YOUR help to do it!

This one is going to be a bit more structured: We're starting with the Kanto region, and everyone is going to pick Pokemon from a spreadsheet!

Some ground rules first:

Absolutely NO "AI" IMAGES ALLOWED. Anything I suspect of being AI will not go into the queue.

Post your submissions here on tumblr! Use the tag #poketcgkanto so I can find everything in one place! It also helps to tag this blog.

The last day for entry will be November 30th, 2025! After that I won’t be checking the tag anymore!!

I'll be adding posts to my queue as they're posted this time, and at the end I'll gather everything into one gallery (with credit to you!) for everyone to view together!

I would appreciate it if you somehow credited the original card you’re referencing somewhere in your post! (Posts with links still don’t show up in tags!)

You can use any medium you want! Photography, 3D, digital, traditional, clay, Lego, fiber, the limit is your own creativity!

You can change the card to be a shiny form if you want! Otherwise I'd prefer the designs stay the same (An exception would be an old canon design of the Pokemon, like something based off old Gameboy sprites)

There is no application for entry!! Pick a Pokemon and draw it and have fun!

Enter your username next to the Pokemon you plan to draw!

Sign up for only ONE Pokemon so everyone has a chance to pick what they'd want! After some time there will be opportunities for people to pick a second Pokemon if they want to. And only one artist per Pokemon, please!

If you want to back out for any reason, please tell me! Nobody will be mad at you! Your art WILL be platformed on this blog if you enter, so if that makes you nervous I understand!

Hi! I'm Chao, and on top of being the only guy on the team with an active tumblr, I'm alsooo one of two main writers! Go thunk.

Aurascope means a lot to me, and I'm definitely going to use this chance to just... GUSH ABOUT IT. I can't exactly provide high quality marketing images because this is just me being unabashedly autistic about something I love, but if you're this deep in, I don't think you care.

SO! Aurascope. Like I alluded to earlier, one of the best defining parts of the game is it's movement. IT'S MOVEMENT IS SEXY AS SHIT TO PUT IT LIGHTLY. We have working time trial systems, and if you look at them, you can see just how FUCKING IN DEPTH THIS SHIT GETS!!!! It's just. FUCK!!! The lead dev put so much care into making sure the act of getting to places feels fun even if there's no platforming!

BUT THE LEVEL DESIGN IS ALSO INCREDIBLY FUCKING TIGHT??? Like. Okay. It took us so long to come up with the first stage's second mission, long enough for it to be a meme in the community discord. BUT IT FEELS SO GOOD. And the rest of the levels in the demo echo the sentiment; everything is so tightly designed that it's just AMAZINGGG AAA

Okay and to toot my own horn here: the writing. Not all of what me and my co-writer is implemented yet, but what is is INCREDIBLY FUNNY. It's not tailored to tumblr comedy or nothing it's just. Funny cuz it's funny. OH AND WE'RE GONNA BE ABLE TO PUT QUEER RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTENT INTO THE FULL GAME!!! It's gonna be fucking peak
