Disney has numerous board games. Some are takes on classics like the Haunted Mansion edition of Life (if anyone is selling one of these, let a foolish mortal or two know) or the incredibly popular Villainous. We now head into a game more aimed at small children that luckily does not come with its own soundtrack.
Disney it's a small world Board Game
is priced at $29.99 USD! When did board games get so expensive? Right, when we started buying them ourselves. shopDisney describes the game as: Celebrate the classic Parks attraction Disney it's a small world in this playful journey. Discover the joyful children and whimsical animals of the world. Collect colorful picture cards by spotting scenes that can be seen from your little boat. Can you collect the most cards before the end of the day? I have no idea what this means for game play so we’re gonna turn that over to the Funko since I never understand these things anymore. I’m old. You’re not old but these things are as cryptic as winning a 90′s game show on Nickelodeon without breaking a prop. Huh, Funko makes board games now... Closed captioning is provided if you need it. Thanks, Funko! Accessibility is awesome.
This seems really cute for small children or if you like to enjoy art that’s in Mary Blair’s style. If you or your child don’t feel too competitive, this could be the game for you. I’m sans children right now, though I’m gonna keep this in mind for the future. Adding this to your collection? Going to force your friends to play it while you blast the Sherman Bros classic and sing along? You’re probably a little bit of a monster but I’ll put myself in that camp with you. Adios, sto kalo, ciao, aloha, zai jian, and shalom! And au revoir, kwaheri, auf wiedersehen, annyeong, vaarwel, and...goodbye!
